My saved jpeg files that I use for presentations no longer scroll smoothly while using the touch screen on my Surface Pro and remain static unless I access the pan tool and then enable the scrolling tool every time I reopen the file. I have done nothing in the settings to cause this and it started happening 2 weeks ago . I even tried restoring an older adobe version. Same issueAny suggestions??

Hello, I need to calculate the day number in the year (‘quantième’ in French) from a date entered by the user in a Date field. Problem: my client is in the French West Indies in the UTC-4 time zone. At my location (in France, UTC+2), it works correctly, but at my client's location, there is always a one-day less in the result obtained by my script. Does Acrobat JavaScript take into account the time zone set on the user's computer?Or have I made a mistake elsewhere? We didn't ask for this, we don't want this. I was forced to resort to disabling "new" or something, I can't go back now to even see what I did or undid. The point is we don't want AI forced on us. If you want to give us the option to enable it, fine. But that's it. Repeat: STOP FORCING AI ON US!

Hey Guys,Whenever I open a file Acrobat DC, print screen pop-ups. Even though I am sure that I did not click on the print button. It is really frustratiing espacially when I open multiple files. How I can reset these settings and fix the problem?Thanks in advance.

I am looking to see if Acrobat has a Preflight profile for analyzing a pdf to determine the percentage of area covered. What I mean by this is if I have a file that only contains black and white imagery, I want to find the what percentage of the entire page contains black. I know that Enfocus' Pitstop Pro has this feature and I have been able to successful gather this information, but I am curious if Preflight has a similar profile. I work for an OEM and we are trying to put together a guide for our customers to determine low/medium/high print coverage for estimating job costs if they don't already have Pitstop Pro or don't want to purchase it.  I've attached examples of the file and the Pitstop Pro Report that I am looking to achieve with just Preflight in Acrobat.

I just upgraded my compute and need the updates for Acrobat 9 Pro. All the "answers" point to ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/9.x/. But when I download the very first update, it tells me I don't have it installed or the version is wrong. It looks like all these updates are for standard not pro.

I have a date field on my form, called RaffleDate. It is formated as d/m/yyyy. Value = ""; }. So I have the code below.My issue is, when i open the pdf RaffleDate is populated with todays date.

Dear all,I only noticed it recently. When I save a Word document to PDF, it seems that the font spacing of certain words change somewhat. I'm pretty sure it's not Word's fault. The spacing is fine in Word. Also, I have stripped the font formatting in Word and tried again, but the problem persists.I've uploaded a screenshot here - http://www.box.net/shared/oncje9l3bzsgq7j2ky8b. (When I try to upload to Adobe Forums, the upload times out).On the left is the text in Word 2010. On the right is the PDF produced.The spacing for "adherence" and "unsurprising" has quite obviously changed.Any ideas what's going on?Cheers,Jay

When in acrobat reader, I was abe to select a text (word) by double clicking and then ctrl-c for copy and then select the highlighter in the dropdown menu and I was good to go, now for some reasong as soon as I ctrl-c to copy the dropdown menu disappears? What changed?

I have a document that was created in Word 2016, which uses the Word multilevel list tool to create numbered lists (3 levels to the list, with 1., a., and i. as the numbering format). The list levels are associated with a style. I'm using Acrobat DC (both the plug-in and the Distiller) to convert the Word document to a PDF, and am running the accessibility tool to ensure it is accessible. When I do, all the numbers come up as errors under "other elements alternate text," and a look at the Tags Panel shows that when the document was converted, the numbers were interpreted as images rather than as text. Other reading I've done indicates that these numbers can be included in the text of the list element for accessibility.Is there any way to prevent these numbers from being interpreted as images in conversion? Using another authoring program isn't an option, and I'm new at trying to make PDFs accessible.

Hello, Since about 2–3 weeks, Adobe Acrobat Pro has become very slow when opening any kind of PDF, and it quite often crashes.I noticed that this issue only occurs when I have an active internet connection: With internet ON → opening is very slow, sometimes leads to crashes.With internet OFF → PDFs open instantly, as before. Important details: All the files I open are stored locally on my computer.I tried repairing and reinstalling Acrobat Pro and even Creative Cloud → no improvement.I also tried installing older versions → no improvement.I run latest MacOS versions Could someone please help me with this issue? Thanks in advance!

We have users using the Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 Perpetual License, will they still work and can we still use them?

I have a PDF file attached to an email in outlook. When I preview the file it shows the correct information on the PDF form, but if I open it or save it and open it, it shows information from an older form.  Anyone know what to do?

After clicking on print, the print dialogue box opens, the page is set to A4 and I need to change it to A3 however I can't do that because the "properties" AND the "page setup..." button don't do anything! I am running Windows 11Acrobat is up to date - no updates availablemy print drivers are up to date. Back in 2015 my company purchased a volume license of Acrobat XI through a reputable reseller, CDW. Everything has been working fine until today. Today I got notification that my license has been revoked. I spoke with Adobe Support and was told that they no longer provide license support for XI. They confirmed the license was real, but that they did not see anything wrong with it on their end and referred me to the Adobe Community to talk to the experts..  I've searched various posts and found no real resolution.  Any experts out there have any idea how I can fix this?

I’m trying to enable Microsoft Defender for Cloud session policies for the acrobat.adobe.com web app. (as per here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/defender-cloud-apps/session-policy-aad). I just bought a new laptop and i have my adobe acrobat pro redemption code from my old laptop. when i enter the redemption code on the new laptop it says. Oops this redemption code is registered to a different Adobe ID. How do i get the Adobe ID sign in again? Or am i not allowed to use my previous redemption code on my new laptop? Please help

Tried clearing the thumbnail cache, turning "thumbnails instead of icons" off/on (both in Acrobat Preferences and Windows Explorer folder options), and reinstalling the Acrobat. Didn't work. The only case they show is when I change my desktop icon size to Large. The issue here is they have a white background around the PDF preview (which I don't think was the case before), and - I want my icons to be back to Medium size.There is no issue with the preview on icons or any size in folders, only on Desktop. Any help or fix that doesn't include hillbilly patches, third-party debuggers, or add-ons?
