I have 100 test fields (test01, test02.....test100). When test signature is signed, lock all the test fields.  Unlock when signature is cleared. Can't figure out what I am doing wrong. for (var i=1; i<=100; i++) var num = (i < 10 ? Hello everyone,I really hope someone is able to help me. We run a small business, and having our sign-up forms done electronically is incredibly helpful. However, recently, this has stopped coinsistently working, causing us a lot of problems and unnecessary work. I'll point out that that it stops working for a day or so, then seems okay the following day, which is very odd - this has been going on for about a week now.'Request E-Signatures' is clicked from the sidebar, and this takes us to the usual screen where we input an email address. Then, 'specify where to sign' is selected to move on, and here is where is goes wrong - it show as 'updating' when the windows loading circle is rotating, then we get the error message that something went wrong and Adobe crashes.Any ideas that could help us?Many many thanks in advance,Nicholas Lungley

I have multiple Digitally Signed PDFs which should be part of one document. Since these are digitally signed, I cannot merge them together. So I created a Portfolio and added all the files in a single portfolio. Now I need to take print of these files, since the individual files are large in number, I need to take double sided print. Portfolio has option to print all files merged also and I am able to select double sided printing also while giving print command. However, the print is coming single sided only. Any way ahead would be appreciated on how to print double sided.

I keep getting a pop up that says "Unable to create the temporary folder. Error 5 - Access is denied"

How can I completely lock the whole pdf so nothing can be selected or is detected for editing? All I want is to be able to type text on top. I've tried flattening it, but it still detects text and bits of the background. I just want to be able to add in more text without the background getting in the way.

Hello all,I'm hoping someone can help me solve this mystery 🙂I have a form that has many check boxes. When selected an "X" will appear in the box. However, we are finding somewhere along the way, text is there instead of the X. It seems to be in the same place of the document - bottm left - "backing" No backing". I've attached the doc and examples of what is happening.  Here are the steps that the document goes through...The Designer should mark the correct boxes, then has the client sign in-person or will send out to be e-signed. Once the document is signed the designer flattens the doc to combine it with other documents. At some point during these steps. The X that should be in the box turns into text.  Any help, thoughts, ideas is appreciated. Thank you! 

I created a fillable pdf for supervisees to complete after meetings for us both to sign. Everything worked properly on the forms until April 2025. Starting in April, the font inside of the text boxes appears extremely small and is all combined on a single line instead of the font size that is readable on multiple lines when saved. I created a new form to see if this would correct the problem, but we are having the same issue with the new form. I am not sure what to do! I've attached a pdf displaying the way text appeared prior to April 2025 and how text now appears.

I am currently using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and need to find calculator (adding tapes),  some annotations or markups that I was able to use in my previous accounting job. There were some 'connectors' that were capital letters with circles around them. We used them for footing and cross footing. We also used mathematical symbols which could be green or red and small numbers with circles around them, also for footing and cross footing. Can anyone tell me if I have the right Adobe for these tools and where to find them? Thanks.

A user is having issues opening PDFs, everytime they a PDF it shows this error message. Can anyone help?? I have uninstalled, repaired, updated etc. 

I am currently trying to send a document for commenting and review, when I send to share with others they recieve nothing. I belive this is beacuse my acrobat account is saying I am not signed in. In the top right hand corner of the screen it says "Sign In" where it normally shows my profile leading me to believe I am signed out. Under the help tab the "Sign Out" option is avaiable which would lead me to belive I am signed in. Yet when I go to sign in and press the sign in button, nothing happens.  Any help is greatly appreciated!

Juni habe ich Adobe Acrobat das Problem, dass in der "Neuen Acrobat-Ansicht", wenn der Bildlauf aktiviert ist, ich nicht mehr auf einer bestimmten Seiten rein- oder rauszoomen kann, stattdessen springt Acrobat dann zur ersten, letzten oder einen ganz anderen Seite im Dokument. Das passiert sowohl über das "Vergrößern"- als auch "Verkleinern"-Werkzeug sowie den Tastenkombinationen "cmd+" und "cmd-". In der alten Ansicht ist es möglich mit aktivierten Bildlauf den Zoom zu benutzen. Ich möchte nicht auf die alte Ansicht zurückwechseln, da ich ein zusätzlich ein Abo für die KI habe. Auch finde ich die Option den Bildlauf zu deaktivieren nicht zufriedenstellend, da ich es störend finde. Ich habe auch schon Acrobat deinstalliert und neu installiert und auch mein Mac ist auf dem Stand und wurde natürlich schon mehrfach neugestartet.  Hat jemand ein ähnliches Problem und auch ein Lösungsvorschlag für mich? 

I'd like to set the polygon line properties to have none for start and end, instead of the default open arrow. I have tried to change the properties and checked "make properties default", but the next measurement has the open arrows at the beginning and end again. I've also changed the measurement (2D) preferences "default line ending" to none but that hasn't made any difference. I ran a trial of Acrobat Pro, then with a collosal brain fart deleted it using CleanMyMac - I missed the Adobe uninstallers. I installed the free Reader app, but now when I run MS Office I get: Run-time error '53':File not found: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/MACPDFM/MacPDFM.framework/Versions/A/MacPDFM How do I get rid of whatever remanents of Adobe Pro that exist on my system to this stops happening?

Hello,  I am having a new issue with my documents not formatted correctly once they are downloaded, causing large gaps in the documents and turning 1-pag docs into 2 or 3 pages. I have used the Adobe Help center to search for updates available, and there are none. I've also use the Help center to repair the installation, but I am still having the issues.  Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as I need to get these docs out to clients asap!Thanks!

Hey All, Any idea why the designers felt the need to swap the sides where tools appear in the "New Acrobat"? I find it very annoying to be working on a large document and having the bookmarks and thumbnails on the right-hand side and there seems to be no way to get it back to the left.    Why is it that companies like Adobe and Microsoft, etc. feel it is a clever idea to force changes on people for no apparent reason. All this does is make the product feel awkward to use and annoy customers. We have been using Acrobat with bookmarks and thumbnails on the left for a long time and it feels unnatural and weird.    I know if we use it long enough, we will get used to it, but why should we have to? I would understand if there were massive productivity gains for sticking with it, but there isn't, it's a forced change for nothing other than some designer thought it looks good.   At least give us an option about what side we want tools on.    I hope someone a

Hey can you bring back the "save as" button? You only kept the "save button" and there are no file tools in the new update. Tried to leave feedback through the app, but the pop up is being blocked by admin security. You have to search for the function save as, use the save as PDF/A, and then change the file type to adobe pdf?

For my organizations publications process, I generally share files that have been uploaded to Adobe Cloud by inviting my team's emails. They then have access to comment any edits. After, my editor would take the PDF that I technically "own" and was able to download the file from the Cloud and edit the comments himself. Lately, and it hasn't been with every file, when he downloads it, the comments are either not there or he is unable to edit them. Similarly, one of our contributors will comment photo captions then send the file back via email, and his comments do not show up. Does anyone have any insight to this? We've done this process for years without these issues.
