Hello,I have a grading rubric (created in Word) in table form that must be converted into a fillable, scorable form. Ideally, users can click the box on the table that corresponds to the score they want to give for each item. The form would them calculate the total score. Hi all,I've got an annoying problem with Adobe Acrobat. When we open a PDF, and share that PDF with other users thrught the  'Share'-option on the top hand side in Acobat, we are not able to do an advanced search (Ctrl+Shift-F). We are able to add a search word, but when starting the search, we get an error stating that:'A shared version of this file is already opened in Adobe Acrobat. Close the shared file and try again.'Note: I have translated the error from our Dutch version, so the actual English version may be different. However, this error happens with all files that are shared through Adobe Acrobat, and with every user either sharing a PDF or have received an invitation to view a shared file. Every option has been checked and unchecked, without any avsil. The error is only specific to Adobe Acrobat version 2025.001.20474 64-bit. On another - older - version 2023.008.20421 64 bit, that hasn't been updated to the latest version, the error isn't present. Does an

Acrobat DC.  Create a document in Word;  Convert to PDF. In Forms, default for user text is:  Size=Auto, Font-Helvetica, Color-Black.I want all new forms fields in my newly designed form,which user completes, to have default of: Size=10, Font - Calibri, Color - dark blue.This helps user input stand out from static document text, without being too different; looks almost the same if completed form is printed in B/W.If possible, I'd like this to be the default standard and not something I have to run a script on each form I create.  But beggars can't be choosy, so I'll take what ever will work.Thank you.

I have a file and when I open it the print dialog comes up along with the file.  I guess this is something the creator put into the document; however I cannot find a way to disable this.  Do you know of a way to disable it so that the print dialog does not open every time I open the document. Using Acrobat Pro XI on Windows 10.Thank you, Rich

My adobe keeps trying to send emails with the old vbersion of outlook and it freezes the computer. How do I set it up to work with the new outlook??

I have a pdf document on a google drive which has comment boxes on it. When i download the document the comments are not visible and I need them to be there so I can reply to them etc 

My boss only has Reader. When anyone sends him PDFs he can open them right out of the email. But when he saves them to his desktop or files them away and then tries to open them again, he gets an error opening saying something about the indd is not supported. Strange because he does not even have the suite on his computer and after it's a PDF anyways he shouldn't have to worry about needing InDesign. It says we are opening an InDesign file but they are actually PDFs and shows a PDF icon. Is there a setting we are missing? I have never heard of this before. Thanks.

When trying to save as a PDF/A file in Acrobat Pro DC it throws an error. Assertion failed in file D:\T\Plugins\Preflight\src_pdfToolbox\pdfInspektorBatch\_Imp\PIBatchAVConversion.cpp, line #566:"CPreflightDlgManager::getDefaultPRCs(state,progbar)" I been in contact with support who confirms this is a bug and given me several workarounds to try which we have tried without success. However I can't find any more information on the issue and the issue is urgent. This does not occur on Windows 10 but on Windows 11. We have tried:Reinstalling, repairing and updatingInstalling an older versionUnchecked "Enable Protected Mode At Startup" and "Run in Appcontainer"Deleting registry keys Adobe Acrobat, Acrobat Arm, Acrobat Distiller, PDF settings. I have tried on 2 different machines with Acrobat Pro and Windows 11 and it throws the same error. On the 2nd machine, unchecking "Enable protected mode at startup" enables me to save the PDF as a PDF/A but sometimes gives

Whenever I open the Adobe Acrobat program I get a sign in window that auto signs me in. I see myself logged in the corner for a second *sometimes* before the program auto closes. I can log into creative cloud fine, when I try to open the Acrobat program the same experience happens.   When I try to run as administrator this happens:  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling adobe. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling creative cloud. I can log into the program fine on other devices.  

Hi Adobe Community,I would like a text field to populate a text hint when I select a particular option from a pull down menu. I want the text hint to appear grey when that option is selected and I want it to disappear once the user starts to type in the text field (and return in grey if the text field is left blank). And when the user starts to type in the text field, I want the text to be black. If the user selects any other option in that pull down menu, the text hint shouldn't appear at all.  I'm pretty sure I need to do on focus/on  blur events in the text field, similar to what I have done for a Check Box, but I just can't seem to come up with the right script to make it happen for a drop down menu instead. I'm also guessing the 'default' verbiage might need to be removed since this text field has no default text? I have a bunch of PDF fillable forms that have data. The form itself has been updated recently and I would like to extract the data from the old version of the form to the new version of the form. The New form will be saved to the same file name as the old form. Is this something that can be accomplished with the Action Wizard or Java Script? I found a way in "Prepare Forms" to extract the data to a file named as the original document name and with an extension of *.fdf.Maybe there is a way to batch convert these files to .fdf files from the old forms and then import to the new form.

Hi team,I have a new microsoft surface which i believe uses arm (I'm not tech savvy) and I have been trying to get my pdf's to view and keep getting this error: Unable to check "enable pdf thumnail previews in windows explorer.I have tried to check the box in the setting in the attached example though you can see its grey out making it impossible to check.Appreciate the help to get this working.

Hello All, Currently trying to prepare a new hire form that would be asking to enter their bank account numbers for their paycheck. I'm wanting to require them to fill out at least 1 of 2 fields asking for either their checking or savings number but the company allows them to deposit a percentage into each account if they wish so to be able to fill out both text fields optionally. Just wondering how I could go about requiring either field, but allowing the option to fill out both. Thanks!

HiUsing Adobe Acrobat, created a PDF form, down the bottom of the form I drew a line where someone would sign. I am reviewing and editing this document and I cannot select, delete or move this line! Help! I tried to erase it but that won't work either!

With an update to Acrobat DC 2024, the merge of xps files to a pdf file didn't work anymore. The used registry key for earlier versions, with BlockXPSParsing=0 seems not to work.  So is there a new way to do this task as taking every xps file and print it to pdf is not suitable, as there are daily hundreds! Thanks for our help! Ron

Hi, I am having this issue, long story short:I use windows 11 pro, with Segoe UI as a font, it is installed on the PC but when i export the pdf from the software i am working in, the text is all garbled.The font it is embedded in the pdf if i look at the properties.What should i do to fix this? Thank you in advance!

Hi,I'm experiencing an issue with a filled in pdf form that was saved in macOS opening blank in Windows 10. I've adjusted security settigns in Adobe DC Reader and tried opening in a web browser and printing to pdf but still only half of the information saves with that workaround. I know it's not a corrupt file because I can view the information in Outlook preview and on various web browsers with all the information displayed. Any thoughts on a workaround or solution?Thanks!

At the end of april I needed to use acrobat and got the free trial for it, and after 6 days I tried cancelling the order. I didn't realize at the time, but my request to cancel the plan never went through, and I have been charged now without realizing. Is there any way to get my money back and cancel my order, as I really can not afford this subscribtion?

I am currently trying to modify our mileage sheet to do calculations automatically. Originally we were using simplified field notation of: (Miles1*0.67)+(Hours1*1.5)+(Misc1) to calculate the subtotal of each line. Recently there has been a change though, The Hourly rate needs to be $17.00The milage rates are .70 if they travel less than 99 miles and .44 if they travel 100 miles or more. I've attached a screenshot naming each of the fields  

When I download pdf files they are marked as "pending". I can't open them. The only option is to delete them. How can I fix this?

When I write on a PDF with my stylus and save the PDF, it shows all my stylus comments, but when I go to print the PDF, all of my stylus comments disappear even though I have saved AS. This has never happened before. Any suggestions?
