Hello all, In my PDF document, my client wants all hyperlinks and mouseovers removed.I created the file with AI, and the system automatically recognized it as a link.If the mouse is placed over the area, the arrow will turn into a finger...my client does not want to see that.  As an example, it looks like this... I have tried using the tool: edit PDF>link>remove web link, but it did not work, as shown below. As far as I know, the preferences have an option for "create links from URLs",Will it work if I don't click that on?In spite of sending the file to other people, they will not be able to see the link with mouse over? I would really appreciate it if you could let me know how to fix it. Thanks so much. Raybin

I am working with numerous amounts of data on an Excel archive that needs to be processed into individual forms with several checkbox options. However, the amount of checkboxes would be too tedious to do one at a time per form within Acrobat. I wanted to see if there was any documentation or instructions on how I could easily prepare my data prior to using the "prepare form" tool on Acrobat to recognize checkboxes within Excel (I've attempted developer checkboxes and Wingdings so far and had no luck thus far).

I would like to know if anyone has ocr'd a multi page document and used a keyword within that document to put into a destination folder. Any help is appreciated. 

I am trying to 'prepare a form' with a signature and the signature field keeps coming up as a text field.  I am using the Add a signature field button (icon looks different in the how to guide than on my version)  and the code says Signature1_es_:signer:signature. I did this a couple of months ago without a problem so not sure what I am doing wrong?

It has a static numbering method in name generation.  I can change "PDFMailer", but the sequence numbers will look:  As I can see there is no option in Acrobat ribbon's Preferences to change this. 

My access to Prepare Form appears to be (now) unavailabe. I've been working on a Form off and on for months - as recently as a month ago - but when I tried to work on this form today, the Prepare Form tool is now showing as "ADD" instead of "Open".

I have this script: if (!event.value) {event.value = “Enter message here”;event.target.display = display.noPrint;} else {event.target.display = “display.visible;} How can I use it for numerical format only?

При написание латиницы в форму, всё в порядке, но когда я пишу кириллицу, то символы не отображаются, когда я выхожу из формы и соответственно их нет на печати. Прикладываю файл, ОС - windows 11. На других ПК с операционкой отличной от 11 отображается. Если я удалю текст из формы и напишу его вручную, он будет виден в документе и на печати.

Using Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 for work.  I can create forms, no issues. When an employee tries to use the form at another specific location, the option to pick the date from a calendar arrow is not available.  I have tested other locations and it works fine.   What am I missing?

Using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC as my default printer.   When trying to copy and paste text from pdf to another app, the text appears as gibberish (symbols, etc.)   Some pdf prints also do not allow for copying/highlighting of lines of text - tried "Enhance Scan" to ensure OCR and flow but still cannot select single words or lines of text in some documents.

Hello All, I am looking at modifying a form that was origanally created in LiveCycle Designer ES 8.2. I was not the original author and as such the original author is no longer associated with this form. However, they did restrict the document to the point where I cannot modify the form without utilizing the "Print to PDF" hack, but that erased all the original data. My question is, in the original form users had the ability to type in times with no seperators, and have the field display it in the correct format, and I for the life of me cannot figure out how. 1635 = 4:35:00 PM. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Hello,  I'm having trouble finding where templates that are viewable by org are located on adobe acrobat. My adobe acrobat desktop app doesn't appear to have a templates section and neither does adobe acrobat on the web. I've been told that others in my org are able to view these templates. I confirmed that we are in the same org and the same product user group. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.  Thank You!

Hello - I have a PDF form that, after the first e-signature and date, prevents subsequent users from using the dropdown date fields. I have made sure the fields are not locked and not read-only, but the problem persists. 1. First person signs form, uses drop down calendar to select date, and saves and forwards the form to the next user.2. The next user is able to drop an e-signature but the drop down calendar box is no longer functional. I have tried multiple different settings and troubleshooting steps and this has become quite frustrating. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks!

When converting web pages and MS Office documents to PDFs by going to the print menu and choosing Adobe PDF results in a PDF being created but gives a "Error - Printing" message and leaves a document in the queue which prevents the computre from going to sleep.  In a browser or MS Office app if I click on the Adobe menu and select convert document or web page to PDF the operation is normal.  If I go to print and select Microsoft Print to PDF it creates a PDF without issue.  The issue only occurs when selecting Adobe PDF from the print menu.  I am looking for a fix or a work around.  Thanks in advance.

I receive the above message when my PC stats and when I open Adobe. Clicking on the message it reapears several more times and then disappears for a while but eventully reappears

I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 and I have been having an error pop up at random times that says it cannot connect to the DDE server.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, using a different pc, repairing the installation, and editing the registry key as shown in another discussion post.  I keep coming across this problem.  If I open task manager and closes all adobe related tasks, it will work again, but the user that is having this problem is not technically proficient.  She says that sometimes she also has a problem signing pdfs.  She is using a newer computer running Windows 11.  

hello, I am a little new to javascript and need to make an interactive form. thanks in advance for any guidance on this. I have four radio buttons (C, D, E, and F) and depending which button is selected, certain text fields will be required by the user.  bascially:If C == true, then Section 2 and 3 are required fields.If E == true, then Section 1, 3, and 4 are required fields.If D == true, then Section 3 is the required field.If F == true, then Section 1, 3, and 4 are required fields. //same as E After some reading about similar-ish issues, it sounds like the confitional statements need to be in the 4 different text fields. I've tried various codes that dont work. When I try to duplicate a field and select "duplciate across all pages" nothing happens!!! Ive tried selecting "across all pages" and "specific pages" and nothing happens/works.  I am trying to get a signature field copied on 8 different pages. It's the same person's signature. When I try to use the same field name, I get an error message "A field of a differnt type already uses this name. Please choose a new name for the field, or change the field type to match the existing field with this name".  Nothing's working! HELP!

I work for a construction company and I was asked to remake one of our "PM Work Order Forms" to make it easier and more uniform for everyone. I remade the PDF, but we have been having issues with it ever since. Here's the process:Our technicians go work on a job, they would then open the updated "PM Work Order", fill out information like the Company name, what was worked on etc.. Then, the technicians are supposed to send their filled out PM Work Order to me where I can then edit and add to the pdf and save it to my computer. At first, when they were sending over the pdf filled out, when I would attempt to open them to view their notes, all of the data they entered would be gone and be replaced with "Yes".  I researched ways to fix this, but all of the "fixes" require a ton of extra steps that were not required for the old PM Work Order, and make the entire process a lot slower and less efficent.Is there anyway around this? HI ,I used Acrobat DC to convert my pdf file to html.Now i see the images present in the pdf just disappear in the html file.I have attached the pdf file. Since html attachment is not supported , i have uploaded it here :grade 9 ch6 Why do the images disappear post conversionMBANKAL

I've discovered lot of issues with Whatsapp especially after Google backup restore including missing attachments, files dated incorrectly, and wrongly named documents beginning with 'Doc...". It's May 2025 so I don't know if it is Whatsapp App update issue or many of these issues have been there for long.  What is not acceptable to me is missing Sent documents after WhatsApp Google Backup restore. One only sees the file name in chats e.g. name.pdf but one cannot open it (like a thumbnail). Also the name of changed by WA to "Doc..." under Sent/WhatsApp Documents folder. To get round I found a work around and wanted to share. It works like this. On the phone where WA is stored when one needs to send a file don't use the WA app. Instead log in to WA web using say Chrome browser on the same phone. Change the webpage setting to desktop site. Then log in using phone number. Then when wanting to send a document like a PDF for example tap on the + icon next to chat mes

I tried to compress PDF files with 1 MB and only 1 Page and it's taking forever to compress the PDF. It's stuck saying "Compressing, just a few more seconds". I tried it on multiple devices, multiple networks, told couple of my friends too and same results. It's taking too long to compress just a 1 MB PDF. I also tried different PDF files with different size. I want to batch compress 1000's of PDF and that's why I use Acrobat Web because it gives better quality with less size and used to take less time. Last year I compressed at least 2000 PDF files within 2 days. But now it's not even compressing a single file. I tried it on a different software and it's working totally fine. There is nothing wrong with the PDF file because I have tested a lot of different PDF files every single file is getting stuck while compressing.

Hallo zusammen,mit dem Tool Flächenbestimmung habe ich Flächen ausgemessen. Leider wird mir die Fläche nur angezeigt, wenn ich sie auswähle. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit die Flächengröße auf dem Plan anzuzeigen, sodass man den Plan mit Flächenmaßen ausdrucken kann. Vielen Dank für die Hilfe im Voraus 

Some one help me please. I know nothing about Javascript, but I am trying to make my job easier. I need to create three text boxes that average the values of certain fields on a form. My fields are named A1-A33. I need one box that averages A1-A22, one box that averages A23-A33 and one that averages A1-A33. The issue I am running into is that I need the averages to exclude 0s and blank spaces from the equation. So if I only have A1-A14 with values in them, the number dispalyed in the first text box will be the average of 14 values instead of the average of 22 values. Again I have no background in Javascript so if some one could explain this to me as if I am a child that would be fantastic.

I'm encountering a problem with the IN_LINE embedMode while using a modal popup. Upon clicking a button, the modal opens with a PDF loaded into its body. However, the navigation within the PDF, specifically moving from one page to another, is not functioning as expected. I'm seeking assistance to resolve this issue with the modal or to find a solution to hide the navigation, as it remains sticky within the modal.
