Hi there, We use dynamic PDF format for submitting internship follow-up reports via Moodle. Since the mid-autumn session of 2024, we have encountered several issues with the display of responses. In many cases, the responses do not appear. By clicking on the fields, sometimes the text appears. I saw a post mentioning a similar problem. Following the recommendations made, we removed the background and border colors. When the issues started, the text field property options "Check spelling," "Multiline," and "Scroll long text" were selected. When we first encountered the problems, we found that enabling "Allow RTF formatting" resolved the issue for most PDFs. We then updated our PDF files to enable this function. In January, we had another report submission, and the same display issues occurred. We tried isolating the problem by checking the PDF version, the conversion tool, the embedded fonts, the web browser, and the PDF filling mode (online or in Adobe), but there were n

Hi,bei mir wird normaler Text falsch kodiert. Statt normalen Buchstaben und Zahlen werden hauptsächlich Sonderzeichen angezeigt. Das ist nich bei jedem Dokument so, nur bei manchen.Wenn ich das PDF anders (z.B. über einen Browser öffne) wird es normal angezeigt. Weiss jemand, wie ich das Problem lösen kann? Hi I am working on latest DC Version. while validating the PDF in PAC checker it shows path object not tagged, This is becuase of shaded frame was not given Artifact tag, If i select that path in content panel and right click tag as artifact that issue will be solved, But my issues is I have more number of path object in PDF there is any option to give artifact for all the path object which was outside the container, I just attached a sample pdf for your reference.In the attached PDF first 2 path was outside the content panel. But in my live file I have lot of path object outside the container, So please let me know there is any option to give artifact for all the Path object outside the container,ThanksGanesh,R

Greetings Adobe Community, I was working with a member of the legal staff today.  The user wanted to rename an exisiting folder in a PDF Portfolio.  I did not see any option to rename folders.  I requested the user rename the folder outside of the PDF file and then readd the folder.  Of course this meant work and consumption of time.  Is there a way to rename existing folders in a PDF file?  If not, does Adobe plan to apply this update / improvement?  Thank you Tiffany (faithful Adobe user)

Our accounting department is receiving filled in W-9s pdfs, but the filled in data is not showing up in Acrobat DC. The data does show up when it is opned in a web browser like Edge or Chrome.  

I have a form I created for myself to fill out every morning and submit by email, and up until now, I've had no problems when opening it in Acrobat on my MacBook.Recently, I have been doing a spell of work from home and using my iMac instead for Creative Cloud work. When I open the pdf form to fill it out, I don't see the form, only what appears to be an empty table with the names of the fields across the top.No matter what I try, I cannot change the view to show me the actual form so that I can fill it.Looking for answers on the web, everything seems to be about solving problems with the form itself, but I can still open it fine in Acrobat on the MacBook, so the problem lies with how the iMac's copy of Acrobat is opening it.I have checked for updates and reset the preferences by trashing the plist, but nothing so far has solved the problem.

Hallo Zusammen,ich frage als absoluter Laie (mit Betriebssystem Windows 11): ich verwende eine Verwaltungssoftware in der sozusagen Kundendaten in jeweils einer eigenen "Akte" gespeichert sind. In dieser Akte kann ich mittels hinterlegter eigener Vorlagen Briefe generieren. Diese sind im ODT-Format angelegt und enthalten Platzhalter der Art ${Empfaenger_Anschrift_Zeile1} (über "Einfügen>>Feldbefehl>>Eingabefeld" in LibreOffice). Generiere ich einen Brief, werden die entsprechenden Felder automatisch entsprechend befüllt. Nun ist es laut Handbuch der Software möglich, diese Platzhalter auch mit eigenen dynamischen PDF-Formularen zu nutzen, wobei nicht beschrieben ist, wie das funktioniert. Es wird darauf hingewiesen, dass man Adobe benutzen muss und dass der Support der Verwaltungssoftware einem dazu keine weitere Auskunft oder Hilfe geben kann/darf/will. Hello, On Mac, I can't customise keyboard shortcuts (Keybindings) for functionalities like (Add text) or (Highlight)? I am trying to create a keyboard first, then add it to my Logi+ app (Mouse). Looks like this is easier to do for windows, as it is built in? Any suggestions around it? Thank you!

Hi  We are experiencing multiple devices with high CPU usage, from 'Adobe Genuine Software Service'.We are running Adobe Acrobat DC, with verification through Creative Cloud. Users are as a result, experiencing slow client performance, high fan activity and high power usage.Uninstalling Adobe Genuine Service, makes the issue go away for a few days and then it reappers. I assume this is a result of the Creative Cloud having installation rights for this piece of Service. See attached for a picture of the Task Manager.  

Hi!I cannot edit/modify the red framed link,  more over Acrobat says "There are no links on this page" however I can click on the link and it will open( it is dead so I want to modify it!)              Any ideas?

I opened a pdf document from an email, but I am not able to export, share, or save it.  All I get is that little popup that says "an error has occurred".  When I checked for updates I got the same message.  Huh?

I'm not able to share or upload PDF to cloud. I've tried desktop app (up to date), mobile app and browser.I've used multiple accounts. When I try to share to cloud using the desktop app, it says file name contains illegal characters eventhough there's none (I've tried a variation of names). Have tested with different files but still unable to. I just keep getting random error messages (not using right file name/not connected to internet etc).I managed to upload on browser but unable to share. It wouldn't load or allow me to share. (when i click share, nothing happens).I've also tried using with VPN ON/OFF.HELP

Since the latest Mac Sonoma update 14.4.1, Acrobat Pro crashes on launch with Error Code 13000. I attempted to uninstall through the CC app, but uninstallation fails. Any ideas on what to do?

Hey folks, been working with this all day. Just trying to create a simple "printed" stamp with the time and date on it.   Here is what I did.1. Created the printed.png file.2. Used Create Custom Stamp, selected my .png file, categorized it as dynamic, named it, and saved it. 3. Open up the stamp from c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\adobe\acrobat\DC\Stamps.4. Used Prepare Form, created a text field, lined it up right below "printed" and added the javascript code.  (I saw the time and date appear in the stamp.5. I saved the stamp and moved it to c:\program files(x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\plug_ins\Annotations\Stamps6. I closed Adobe Acrobat.7. I open Acrobat and choose a .pdf file to open.8. i try to stamp it, but all I see is "Printed", the dynamic date and time do not appear.If I browse to the stamp .pdf and open it, I DO see the time and date, but when I use it as a stamp, I do not.Why?   I cant figure it out for the life of me.

Hi everyone, I have a 3D PDF which was created from a CATIA model. The model itself is one single body with one color property which' RGB value is 210/210/255.A few faces of this solid body however, have different colors. Let's say there is an area which is green (RGB 067/224/054) and another one brown (RGB 210/170/109). My goal is to call a function by a button which I created. The function is called get3DColors(). And the purpose is to analyze the diffuse colors of the 3D content and store them in an object for further processing. I am trying to create a custom JavaScript but literally have no idea what I am doing.  I created a custom evaluation scorecard with 15 opportunities for points. Various sections may be N/A. My dropdowns are named "Dropdown1" through 15. My total is "Total" - Each time I calculate it with the presets Acrobat provides, it gives me 6,000.00%, but I need this ONLY to show 60%. Each dropdown has the option to get 0%, 50%, 100%, or N/A. Can someone help me with a custom JavaScript to correct this issue?

There does not appear to be a simple way to select multiple objects without having to use ctrl+ and mouse click every little tiny line and object. Why does the select tool not allow you to draw a box around objects you want selected so that you can move them or do whatever with them? Is there a tool or way of doing this?

Dear Acrobat,My account says I have Acrobat Pro...I paid for this.  Everything has been fine until recently, I can no longer open attachments with emails when its in this form.  I can Preview the attachment and at least read it, but thats it.  When I try to open like I always have, I get a half-page shot of the file and its all in grey, and my cursor doesn't work to even close it.I have to be able to open all attachments, read them, edit them, save them, send them on, etc.Please help, Thank you,Benjamin2025

Good Morning,In the last two weeks when I receive an email with an attachment, I can't open it.  I can see it on Preview only, and it gives me a half-screen.  Otherwise, when I try to open it in anything, its a gray-covered screen and nothing works.  I have already created an account and it says I have Adobe Pro.  I need to be able to double click attachements and open them like I was doing for the last two years but I have no idea of how to even approach this.  Please help!  Thank you,Benjamin
