Hi,I am using Acrobat 2024.002.20964 on the MAC.When I insert a text box and enter a text, I get text suggestions through a dropdown, which were probably used in the past. (see picture).I have the following problems with it:There is an x to delete an entry but, when I click on it, the suggestion is there again the next time.if I make a new entry that does not exist in the list, it is not saved in the drop-down listSo I constantly have the same suggestions that are no longer useful to me, I can neither delete them permanently nor add new ones.The problem persists when I uninstall and reinstall Acrobat using the uninstaller. Where can I manage these entries?Within Acrobat or by editing or deleting a library file?I look forward to your help!Steffen.

Can anyone suggest inexpensive, or free, imposition software. I need to turn a PDF into an 8-Up PDF and would prefer an more automatic solution, rather than a manual one. I did a trial of PDF snake and it was perfect...until I learned of the cost. My current usage, does not justify the cost.

as the Subject, the error message as " a funning instance of Acobat has caused and error ", and at the first time it shown up , i have deleted the app and reinstalled it to make sure it is the lastest version. My due day is coming soon!!! need a help desperately. If not able to sovle the issue, might please refund my subscribtion??

Greetings, After using the PDF Review Server on multiple docs for about a year, I am today getting this error message:"Adobe Acrobat cannot connect to the Review Server: 13.107.136.9"We host our Team comments on SharePoint. I have no issue visiting the SharePoint and viewing the Adobe file.Does anyone have an idea of this error's root cause and/or how to troubleshoot this?I am really blocked from doing work.I have tried many of the other remedies posted in this community to no avail (tried logging in/out of SharePoint, Adobe, deleting credentials, rebooting, etc.)Here is the Acrobat Pro DC version: Thanks,Howard

I have a newer Mac M1, running Sonoma 14.6.1This issue started about one year ago, and seemed to coincide exactly with me downgrading my subscription to non-Pro version. Ever since then, despite how many PDFs I have open, despite what version of MacOSX, it does this every time, and today's episode is especially bad.  About 2 months ago, I upgraded back to the Pro version, thinking/hoping that would resolve the issue, but also because there were other features I needed from Pro. Upgrading seems to have made the issue WORSE. Is anyone else having this issue? Have you found a solution? I have a separate vault for work documents. I was not signed into this vault when I downloaded Adobe Acrobat. I signed my document with Adobe, closed everything, and then signed into my vault to access my documents to continue working in Word. I clicked "save" a few minutes later. I then tried to exit the document and it asked if I wanted to save changes as if I hadn't already saved. I said yes and it would either give me an error (no error name or number) or flicker and bring my document back up as if it was unable to save. I closed the document and brought it back up and none of my changes saved. The only difference was Adobe adding things to Word 10 minutes before. I uninstalled everything I could find related to Adobe and still have this issue. The only thing that won't go away is adobegc_a05576 file. I've denied it all permissions and I am still having this issue. I can save documents outside of the vault, but nothing will save to the vault. Please help.

After finally find my saved templates it doesn't save the changes that I've made to the text boxes.  For example it automatically detects fields but overrides the changes I've made even though it's a saved document. How do I have a template that retains the changes I've made so I don't have to alter the form every time.

Hi,Any help appreciated. Total noob by the way!I am creating an invoice for agents to work out their commission on products sold. We pay them 50% on sale and 50% on delivery.The form currently works up to the point of adding all products sold, applying their commission % and calculating total value of their commission ("Total_Commission").I now want the invoice to show the two values of their first 50% ("SplitA") and second 50% ("SplitB") commissions.The difficulty I have is with odd numbered commission totals.For example, total commission = £100.05, if I include a calculation for SplitA in Simplified Field Notation: Total_Commission/2 I get £50.03. That's fine. The second commission invoice amount is now a problem as it needs to be £50.02. I have tried Total_Commission-SplitA in Simplified field notation, but it also produces £50.03.It looks like I need to use a Custom Calculation Script, and I've tried several solutions, but am not having success!Please help

When I sign in it will not allow me to click business / school account and only personnel which doesn't allow me to edit with Pro. How do I shift me account to business?

Hi,New to posting so apologies if this is in the wrong place.I'm creating a form, with a text field in, I want to be able to show the text box at a certain size, but add in more text - that I do not need to print - only send in electronic form - and scroll through the information.Is this possible in Adobe - or can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Hi Adobe Community, I'm having an issue with Adobe Pro where we Add Text and it is slow to show the characters inouted, but painfully slower to delete them. In fact, the text will flash one at a time before deleting. Interstingly enough, Add Text Box works just fine. This seems like a setting issue so we already tried unchecking "Enabled Enhanced Security" and "Protected Mode." That did not resolve our issue. We also unchecked "Enable hardware rendering for legacy video cards", "Show online storage", and did a repair in control panel. I am working with Acrobat Pro since the very, VERY early days. Instead of improving the app it is getting worse with every update. Here is my current bug/missing feature list:  Does not list last open files correctly on splash screenDoes not list last used folders on save screen. I still did not find a way to switch off the new save screen. Editing tools are reduced – Using Creative Cloud I do NOT want to use Adobe Express. The app is overall sluggish, slow and unreliableGenerating and editing forms in Acrobat is terrible, slow, buggy, sluggish and not intuitive, yet complicated.Text tools are reduced and limited in the current version. Hi, I want to use keyboard shortcuts for commenting tools, such as 'Strikethrough text'. However when I try, either nothing happens or I get a webpage offering paid subscription. What's up with this? (I'm using Acrobat Pro free version on a Mac.)  Thanks for any help!

I work in a small city government that has 10+ years of individual pdf documents that record the decisions of our City Council. Often, I am called upon to go back into these documents to find when a specific decision was made, or what the details were around that decision. Doing a search using Adobe Acrobat on each, individual pdf is tedious, and I am trying to determine what might be the best way to effectively search documents over one or more years. I would also like to make this capability accessible to my city's citizens on our city website, but I don't want the public to have the ability to "find and replace" any of the content in these pdf records.Without signing up for Acrobat AI Assistant, I am thinking that one "quick and dirty" way to get this done is to scan a full year of pdfs into one document (about 350 pages) and post that full year of records online for community members (and me) to search using Acrobat's text recognition conversion. Just over the past couple of weeks I've had a new issue with Acrobat Pro. I have to include formatting (italics and bold, mostly) in comments and have been doing so for many years. But just recently that formatting has been dropping out. If I quit Acrobat and reopen, I can get it to start accepting formatting again, but it doesn't bring back the formatting that was lost. For example, I'll have text where I have italicized words and those words are suddenly in plain text. I put the formatting back in and it shows up in the comment box, but when I "post" the comment, the formatting is gone. If I quit and come back, I am successful in getting the italics to hold for the moment, but it may disappear the next time I have the file open. What can I do to make sure this formatting isn't lost?

We just applied Microsoft Double Key Encryption (DKE), with a corresponding Sensitivity label. It works fine with Word and the MS Unified Labeling Client / Viewer. However, when trying to open a DKE-labelled file with Adobe Acrobat Pro, we get the error attached ("Double Key Consumption is Disabled").No documentation whatsoever anywhere about this message. Google says "no results found". By reverse-engineering (text search) the binaries of Acrobat and the libraries of the plug-ins (mip_protection_sdk.dll, mip_core.dll, mip_upe_sdk.dll), it seems to me that the libraries themselves support double key encryption. Exécutez l'application de création de document, dans la boite de dialogue avertissement de sécurité, activez l'option Toujours faire confiance aux macros provenant de cette source et activez les macros..."Il n'y  a pas de boite de dialogue avertissement de sécurité visible.Adobe et Office on été réparés.Le phénomène est identique en activant toutes les macros dans Word.Merci de vos bon conseils.  

Hey all,I have Acrobat Pro DC and I have noticed that some documents scroll one whole page at a time, and I think that makes the presentation much better. I have a report to submit soon and I would like to enable this for that document, but am unaware of how to do so. All I could find online is changing the PDF reader settings to force it, but I want it to work on other peoples computers. I would appreciate any tips / advice on how to get this to work! Thanks

Hi, I am an application support specialist my user wants to use adobe print to pdf, to open the pdf after printing. The option for viewing the pdf after printing is enabled.  Same happening on the server.rely is offremoved and added the adobe pdf converter in printers. Hello there! I'm having this problem when everytime I open a file in acrobat Dc (latest) it is sooooo slow to display, it just appear the multicolored circle that show that it's processing it and when finally make the zooming in, the image is not displayed correctly, and white squares appear and dissapear as if it's having so much trouble working on the file... then it freezes or take a ton of time so I have to Force quit the app....I don't have this issue in Illustrator o Photoshop just in Acrobat I have all the security enhanced off, the oage display al 4's in rendering unchecked.  I'm working in a 27 inch Imac from late 2015 with Monterey,  3.3Ghz quad core intel core i5, 20gb 1600ddr and AMD radeon r9 m395 2 gbHoping that you guys can help me with this frustrating issue, Best regards.Martin. Hello, I am encountering an issue while trying to compress a PDF file using Adobe Acrobat. Whenever I attempt to compress the file, I receive an error message stating "File is already compressed." However, I have not uploaded a compressed file and I am unable to proceed with the compression process due to this error.I have tried compressing various PDF files, but the same error message appears consistently. I have also made sure that the files I am attempting to compress are not already compressed. I would appreciate any assistance or guidance on resolving this issue. I am using Adobe Sign in Adobe Acrobat Pro, on an individual plan.I have sent a document for signing, but I've typed one of the emails wrongly. How can I change this now so I don't have to ask the other recipient to sign again? I've found instructions for changing it in Adobe Sign, but I can't find it in Acrobat. I can only see the recipients, not manage them.
