I'm creating a form where I have people registering for an event.There is a drop down list for users to select 0-4 people in attendance. Below that, we have 4 spaces for each person attending.I'm looking for a script that will only show the field and make it required based on the number of people. Ex)---User selects 0 (0 Value) people in attendance from the dropdown (labelled as FEG)Fields "NameA", "NameB", "NameC", and "NameD" are hidden and not required. ---User selects 1 (225 Value) person in attendance from the dropdown (labelled as FEG)Field "NameA" is made visible and required. I have a regex problem.In my form (attached), after selecting the country in the drop-down list, the user has to enter a code which must correspond to the pattern of his country.The pattern is passed as a variable from the drop-down menu value.   In this example, I have a problem with Argentina, Australia and Austria: if the user enters too few digits, the entry is invalidated. As expected, this is OK. But if the user enters too many digits, the entry is not invalidated, e.g. for Australia he has to enter 8 or 9 digits, but if he enters more it is not invalidated and this is not OK.   I've tried with several different regexes, for example for Australia I use :\\d\{8,9\}or\\d\\d\\d\\d\\d\\d\\d\\d(\\d)?but the issue is still the same.   Is this a bug or have I missed something? Ich habe AdobeAcrobatClassic gekauft und die Lizenz fälschlicherweise auf meinem AdobeAccount für eine Web-Version eingelöst. Diese kann ich nun herunterladen, kann diese aber nicht aktivieren, weil ich sie kaufen sollte. Habe nun diese im Account gelöscht, versuchte auf dem Portal "redeem.adobe.com/classic" die Lizenz erneut zu aktivieren. Geht nicht weil mir mitgeteilt wird, dass diese bereits benutzt wurde. Wer kann mir helfen? 

Hi. I'm brand new to editing forms directly in Adobe, and have even less java experience. I've inherited a form someone else set up, and am trying to fix a bad calculation. Well, actually, to add a calucation. The form is used to request refunds of prepaid admittance fees to an event. It allows you to add up to ten people, depending upon how many you originally registered. Refunds are supposed to cost a $10 per person processing fee. The form creator added ten fields named "Amount1" to "Amount10". They did a calculation for "AmountTotal" using the formula of "Value is the sum (+) of the following fields" and then listed the 10 AmountX fieldnames separated by commas. They then added a field named "AmountLess Processing Fee", but did not add a formula. It currently is hard coded to -$10.  Then they created a field named "AmountRefund Due", with a formula of "Value is the sum (+) of the following fields: AmountTotal, AmountLess Processing Fee". I have a bank document PDF, and just need to delete, or paint over in white, a select fill of words of text/ actually bank account numbers. Even though I'm 25 years in PHotoshop. I could not after fifteen minutes figure out how to select a couple of words of text and delete.  I also could not find a pen tool to write over or paint over. Also could not find a way to select and fill.  Extremely frustrating, as I'd have this done easly in 1 min in Photoshop. I was able to bring it into photoshop, but then PS seperates the pages. I even googled how to do this , but did not help, some goofy tips on commeing .. Totally flustred.I knew Acrobat would be harder than photoshop, but I though after 15- 20 mintues, I'd find one of those three methods, but no totally stuck. Thanks!

Several years ago I scanned a group of files and secured the PDF - I thought I used my usual password but it doesn't open up this one file.  I have tried several methods suggested online but nothing works.  Does anyone know how to unlock my PDF?  Thank you

Hello, Starting today, I've noticed Acrobat is not displaying PDFs properly. It looks like all text is missing. However, the PDFs display perfectly fine using other PDF programs (even Acrobat Reader!). This happens when printing to PDF from a browser, however it doesn't seem to matter which browser is used. See attached file which shows screenshot of PDF printout of adobe.com homepage in both Acrobat and Acrobat reader. Already tried uninstalling and reinstalling. PDF printouts were working fine a few days ago. Any help would be massively appreciated!

I have some pdf files on my Windows PC, I have Adobe Acrobat Pro (desktop and browser), all I want to do is to copy those files from my pc into a Cloud Storage Folder, but if I drag and drop to the folder it just open every file in a different tab, I don't want to open them, I just need to copy the files, and preferably without having to open each one and clicking "save to cloud storage" and then selecting the destination folder, because I need to copy the same files on a lot of different folders and it will take hours. I used to be able to do that years ago, but now I just can't find the way.

I have completed thousands of these specific forms that include a signature. While trying to save, I receive an error message each time that states the document may be read-only (it is not - I verified this) or that another user may have it open (I am the only user and I don't have this document displayed on the Windows Preview Pane).  I also deleted my signature and completed it again. I updated my Adobe as well as my system with high hopes of resolving the situation. No such luck. Please tell me how to resolve this issue. I complete hundreds of these forms daily, and it's asking me to save each document with a different name or different folder.

Hi there,When I create a doc in word and then try to edit in adobe, adobe is not picking up all of the boxes and placing fields in them.  It will randomly assign a text box to one square and then two. I spend quite a bit of time resizing and adding text boxes only for it not to save. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hello all, I am importing an HTML file to convert it to PDF. However, when the conversion is complete, the output appears on two pages, and I would like it to fit on a single page. Can someone please help me with this? Thank you!

I am developing a company form.Page 2 of the form has some content replicated from page 1, such as EmployeeName.Since I want it to be read-only on page 2,  I have named the field EmployeeName2 and set the field set as calculated. The calculated field uses this custom calculation script.event.value = this.getField("EmployeeName").valueAsString;it worked fine for a while.  After several "form resets", signing and signature "clear"-ing the calculated fields stopped working.I went into each calculated field, edited the calculation, Ex: "event.value4 = ..." click on another field, then remove the 4, leaving the original calculation and the field start working again. Is this something that happens to others, is there a way to program around this, did I do something wrong? I have the latest updates installed on Acrobat Pro DC.    

I have an Acrobat file with sheets of even and odd numbered pages near each other as shown above.How can I convert these sheets to pages so that I can print the document with odd and even pages behind each other.

I can print word and other types of documents but not pdf from my HP8120e printer. Why is that?

Adobe.  I DO NOT WANT TO MAKE ACROBAT MY DEFAULT PDF READER. Why TF would I want to do that? It is a horrible program that I only use when I am desparate. Stop changing it to my default reader EVERY TIME I OPEN IT.  I literally earn my income using Adobe products, most often, Indesign. NOT A DAY GOES BY when I don't shout into the void, "I HATE ADOBE!" I wish there were an alternative. 

When I run OCR text recognition in a PDF in Adobe Pro, it scans the first page and then leaves the remaining document blank. It's doing this on ALL my documents now, regardless of what they are.

this has some to do with PDF's, and some to do with chrome extensions so i am posting here and will post elsewhere about how to make a chrome extension that will invert the white and black from a .pdf that is pulled from a local server. every single extension ive downloaded so far has not & does not invert the black & white. the only way ive been able to iis to install the adobe extension, open the pdf in chrome and then go to appearance and invert colors there but many of us do not have an adobe subscription so im trying to create a chrome extension that you can toggle on and off that inverts the black & white on a pdf stored locally. can nyone help with this?

I'm attempting to run an update on my newly installed adobe acrobat XI pro. I just installed this program from a disc (still in original wrap - never opened - never previously installed - never previously registered). The installation went smoothly; serial number validated and program opened up with no issues.However, when I went to "Help" on tool bar and ran a "check for updates", I ran into a snag. An update was found and successfully downloaded. However, when I installed the update, it seemingly got about 80% of the way through the update installation and then started backing out and reversing the update install. It gave me the following error:Update FailedError 1328. Error applying patch to file. C:\Config.Msi\PTD3BA.tmp. It has probably been updated by other means, and can no longer be modified by this patch. For more information contact your patch vendor.I called customer support (obviously in India) and spent 40 mins on the phone with absolutely no help! The operator kept insist

I'm having trouble viewing the data on a pdf report I've downloaded from HubSpot. This seems to only happen on pdfs from that platform on my Mac, no other pdfs behave in this way. Is there an Adobe View setting or maybe a Mac setting that I need to adjust? See screen shot below.... 

Where in the world can I get the documentation that describes using js in Acrobat forms?I found something dated 2003 but think there have been some advancement in the last 20+ years. I struggle finding tidbits throughout the internet trying to put together my own reference but the syntax is not common with my database programming.
