Even if I set page display to single page continuous and restarted acrobat, the document always jumps from the end of last page to the beginning of next page.

how do I open another copy of a document in another tab instead of another window? I am using Acrobat Pro 2017.

A friend created a print version of a flyer for me with some cool high resolution images.  I needed to correct a text error so subscribed to Acrobat Pro DC.  After downloading acrobat pro I used it to open the file that was sitting in a drop box.  My friend had actually fixed the error himself so that was cool.  I then closed down the file but when I came to upload it to the print company I noticed that the file had been shrunk considerable and the resolution of the images was now too small and the file was useless.  Why did acrobat shrink my file without me asking it to?  I do I stop it doing this? If every time I open a high resolution file destined for the printers it gets 'optimised' or shrunk then the programs useless!  Can someone enlighten me?

Acrobat has been doing this for a few months. I don't edit more than handful of PDFs on a regular basis. However, I have started a project that involves editing hundreds of PDFs. I would rather not have to grab my mouse every time I'm closing an edited document. See the Acrobat close-window to see that no button is highlighted for me to just hit the Return key to save it.The InDesign close-window behaves like I expect it to. Acrobat used to behave this way also.Did I accidentally change a preference in Acrobat?

I received a PDF that was saved from an Outlook email that has large attachments in it. How do I delete them from the PDF. I don't want the attachments in the PDF, just the text from the email. Acrobat Pro 24.5.20400.0Mac Sonoma 14.7.2  Thank you

Greetings,I'm creating an accessible PDF document (using InDesign ) that have two pages ( cover and imprint ) at the begging that have no value to readers with visual disabilities. Marking elements on them as artefacts doesn't help, because it will make screen reader to repeat the word "blank" for each line.I'm looking for a way to make Acrobat / Other screen readers to skip these pages altogether and start from the article in 3rd page.What's the best practice for this?Many Thanks,Kasra

Does Acrobat Pro (or if not, InDesign or within Fiery Command Workstation) have a way to count all the pages of a book and give me a report of how many black pages and color pages a document has?  This is important when using a printer that charges by clicks.  The only way I currently can do this is to run a book on the printer first and use the onscreen counter on the printer to know the number of color and black pages.  This of course means I am wasting a printed book when I am only trying to put a price quote together first.

I have an executive who has Reader DC installed and has a digital signature set up.  He wants to share this signature with his admin assistant so that she can sign documents for him as she manages a lot of items that come in through his mailbox.  How can he share his signature with her easily?  Not one we want him to have to spend a lot of time on.  On previous versions he simply copied a file and sent it to her but latest version doesn't seem to work that way and it looks like the signature is stored on a server rather than locally.  What's the solution?

Can someone help me figure out a javascript for my form? I have a submit button on my adobe form, but I am trying to figure out the script to change the body of the email that is populated once the person filling the form out clicks submit.  I found this script on a forum, but I cant get it to work. var cToAddr = "maria@titan.net";var cSubLine = "Dielectric Testing Information";var cBody = "Please note, we have changes to our testing preferences."; So I would like to have the email sent to myself (maria@titan.net), the subject line to say "Dielectric Testing Information", and then the body of the email to say "Please note, we have changes to our testing preferences." Any help is much appriciated!!

why my adobe acrobat can't split a text box into many small text boxes, please see the screenshot below, my colleage's acrobat can split  a text box into many small text boxes, but mine can't do that. I am remediating a document that needs to be 508 compliant in both Word and in PDF.   To clarify, I'm not just using word as a tool to create a PDF final product, I have to have both a Word final product and a PDF final product.   Here is my issue:The document I was given to remediate had textboxes in it that were not in-line with text.   Here is how I am looking at remediating them:I already took care of the easy part for word - moving them in-line with text and then putting them all at the beginning of their sections so that the screen reader reads the textbox first, then the rest of the content related content.  I also changed the text so that it was no longer in a text box, and added a border around the text and a background color to mimic the original textboxes. However, after reviewing them with the screenreader, I don't like it because it just sounds weird.  The text boxes are key points that the author wanted to emphasize, and while

I am remediating a handbook that walks individuals through a process with several steps.  Some of those steps include filling out forms. The author of the document included pictures of the forms that the individual must fill out.  I think the author did this to help sighted users identify which document is which, and to help individuals know what the official document looks like since fraud is an issue.  I don't feel like seeing these images does anything for someone who cannot see and uses a screenreader so I am thinking that these images either need to say "example form" or be marked as decorative.  It's not clear to me what the best course of action is for this.   There is no value in seeing these forms except to be able to visually identify them.  Appreciate the help from this community.  

I searched this topic and cannot find any solved posts.  I am converting a pdf to excel and am missing some cells upon the conversion.  I have narrowed it down to the first line on each page after page 1. I have tried exporting each page to a separate sheet and having them come over on one sheet.  In either case, the same lines are missing each time. Is there something I need to check, look for, etc?

I'm using Acrobat Pro 2024.005.20399. Despite having set Document Properties > Initial View > Navigation Tab to "Page Only", my PDFs are still showing the bookmarks panel when they open.  I want them to open with the Bookmarks Panel hidden.  Theses PDFs consist of a single page and have no bookmarks in them. To make them come up without the Bookmarks Panel showing, I've had to add an Action to the page:Select Trigger = "Page Open"Select Action = "Execute a menu item"And the menu item I've selected is "Acrobat Menu>View>Show/Hide>Side panels>Bookmarks When I do these things, the pdfs finally come up without the Bookmarks Panel showing. So, I can get it to work, but I thought that merely setting the Navigation Tab to "Page Only" would be sufficient to work on its own. What's going on?  Am I misunderstanding something? I'm attaching screen shots of my document and page settings.

A massive number of our end users are being prompted to logon to Acrobat 2017 making Adobe Acrobat unusable. Our application deployment was configured using the Acrobat Customization Wizard with offline exception granted and online services disabled which I believed prevented the logon prompt. I guess I was wrong. This is a Windows 10 environment. Any ideas is greatly appreciated.

So, I have a file that I'm trying to convert to grayscale via Preflight in Acrobat. I run the Analyze and Fix script and some elements are converted but others are not.I tried doing color conversion as well but nothing seems to change. I have been told this works better in Acrobat 9 but I do not have a license for that version.

Hello community, this is a somehow funny new problem with Acrobat, which seems to be the stepchild in Adobe's family. Since today, Acrobat always shows the content of a brochure I've opened yesterday, but with the actual name of the currently exported file from InDesign. He does it continuously. I export a simple business card – Acrobat shows the 100 pages of the brochure.I export a smaller brochure – Acrobat shows the 100 pages of the brochure.… and so on. He does it even after quit & restart. Is there a file cache or something I can empty?Anyone else with the same bug after the last update? 

Hello,  I work as IT support and i have one user who has Adobe Pro. She wanted to compare two PDF files and find the differences. We used the following procedure https://helpx.adobe.com/be_fr/acrobat/using/compare-documents.html  The result we expected wasn't what was shown in the How To. We tried with two files and where we knew the differences but no good result eitherAny ideas, solutions? Kind regards

Hello, until recently, my Acrobat Pro installation crashes every time I open a PDF file. It functions marginally well with small PDFs, but larger ones cause the application to crash. Before crashing, it displays a warning message in the lower left about a payment error and prompts me to update my payment method. However, my account is in good standing, and I can use other CC apps without issues. I upgraded my Mac to Sequoia 15.0.1, but the issue began with Sonoma 14.7. Any assistance would be appreciated.
