Acrobat today is designed by children.  Why can i not cut a part of one page and insert it into another page.  You know something professionals do every day.  It is like Adobe let thier infant children decide what the program should be.

Sometimes I have the need to extract and save out certain page ranges from a multi-page PDF.Currently I load the PDF in to Acrobat Pro DC, click Page Thumbnails, right-click in the frame and select 'Extract Pages...' to allow me to key in the page range I wish to extract. Once extracted in to a new document, I can save the new file and close it, returning back to the main PDF for further page extraction.All the actions in my process can be done using the keyboard, except bring up the Extract Pages dialog. Can I request that a keyboard action be added for the Extract Page option?

The form has 5 fields.  Fields 1-2 are fine.  When I type in fields 3-5 it only allows me to type one line.  I checked the properties and under the options tab i selcted multi-line and saved the document.  I was able to enter multi-line data into the document.  However, when I click in the next field it copies the data from the previous field.  What should I do? Its not my document  It was shared with me. 

I would like to report a website that is offering cracked or hacked versions of Adobe programs. Unfortunately, these hacked programs contain viruses or malware within a password-protected file in the executable.   I am not seeking any personal gain from this report. My intention is to highlight the risks associated with downloading Adobe programs from such sources. Hey!  I was sitting hightlighting and writing comments in a PDF. When I had to save it, it suddently said is had a write-protection (is that the English term?) and that I could save it under another name. When I try that, it tells me "archieve mistake" and then all the text disappeared only leaving my highlights. Meaning I know have a long completely white PDF file with a lot of yellow lines. If I try and open the PDF again, it opens another window in Acrobat, same file, but with no no highlightes or comment.  I've attached screenshots of what it looks like - the two same files, one with notes I can't read or save and the same files I opened from documents again with text but no notes.Can anyone help me with getting the text back in my highlighted PDF so I can see what I've actually read? Thanks!

We have problems with the OCR on some documents. I contacted Adobe technical support for help and said that the help I received did not answer my problem at all.This situation is critical for my company because the OCR removes certain information from the original document and that it is legal documents that can not be altered as well!The file in error currently works if I transfer it in image or if I pass it in post script and return in PDF but not if I work directly on it.The proposed solution is to go through the ADOBE PDF driver but it is impossible for us for several reasons.Is there any way that a programmer evaluates my file?

When saving PDF files the creation and modified date is wrong. They have various months and days and time but the year is always 2003. This has not always been the case. I am not sure when it started I noticed it about a year ago. I scan timesheets every two weeks that's when I noticed (attached screen shoot shows mixed dates and all 2003 dates are wrong. There are no 2019 save dates). All files saved as PDF now show year 2003 and wrong date and time. The other attachment shows PDF I saved today 09-16-2019 with wrong date. I am just now trying to find a solution. I have searched in settings and I found nothing about time zone or setting time to computer clock. However this doesn't seem to be the case because the year and dates are not the same as the computer clock. Please help me find a fix to this problem.  I didn't notice that they were saving with the wrong date until much later. Others may be having this problem and not noticed.

Hi,This is a sample page.How to separate the entire file into one page per page instead of two pages per page?  

When I try to open an XFA-based PDF in the Acrobat reader, it pops a window says "no error", however when i clike "ok", it just open a blank page.  The Acrobat reader is newly installed. I have no problem when I open the file in other application. I have tried to disable Protected View mode in the reader but no help. 

Adobe Acrobat Pro is my default app to open pdf's in.  I pay almost $90/month to have access to Creative Cloud apps, including Acrobat Pro.  Still, whenever I open a pdf, a window pops up wanting me to sign in.  If I sign in, I am prompted to buy a subscription plan to Adobe Acrobat Pro.  Besides, when the sign-in window pops up, I am already signed it.  How do I make this stop?

 I need a javascript for Complex Calculation where Total + SAI + Pell = Need; but if SAI is a negative number, treat as zero. Can anyone please assist me?

We've implmented MPIP sensitivity labels & have come across a strange case. Steps being followed :1. Create a PowerPoint file. 2. Convert it to pdf format either viaSave as Adobe pdforExport --> Create Adobe PDF3. Now the PDF file is generated. Since I have Pro version so MPIP labels can be applied.4. Now the tricky part comes. If I label this PDF with a Sensitivity label having an active Content marking, some of the existing data from the PDF gets removed.5. The data that has been deleted is gone forever. Even after changing or removing the label data doesn't come back.This is a serious issue with the MPIP label's applicability. Is it a known issue? If not then we'd ask you to pay attention to it & let us know about it.

Since the latest update, Adobe has been running slower for us and crashes more often. Is there something we can do to correct this issue? 

Hello, is it possible to remotely disable the AI Assistant on all installations of Acrobat (Pro and Reader) in the Organization so that end users cannot access this feature?Thank you

The "add watermark" access to logos on my computer desktop and/or via dropbox account is not functioning.  I just receive a grayed out display with the dialog box frozen.    Once I close Acrobat, these functions all work just fine for all other applications including Canva, Illustrator (place), Snappa, etc. It seems that Acrobat Pro is the application where this is happening.   The attached screen shot is displayed but totally frozen and does NOT place the logo.

Hello everyone! I need to collect consents to photography and picture usage from guests on my event. For this purpose I am going to create a document with general text and two adjustable fields:  - Name & surname (text block)- person's signature (I'd like the to draw a signature with their finger on their phones / tablets) How guests will receive the document? I am going to create a document, save it to the Google Drive and link it via a QR code. Ina nutshel, guests will come to my event, scan a QR code, open the file, fill in their name and surname and sign the document in the created field using their finger or stilus. I've tried different ways to edit the document: to create a form with specials fields (for text and for signature); to sign the document, but I have never received a document with two necessary fields that I can save and link to a code. What is the process?Thank you

I saw this has been reported before but there is no posted fix.  I was hoping to see if anyone came up with any.   When I try to embed an MP4 video into a PDF, the entire PDF crashes.  The video does not attach.   I am using the Ruch Text addition function.  The video plays on all computers.     I have tried this with multiple PDFs, and mltiple cmputers runnign Windows 10.   We are doing a medical submission that will use up to a dozen 5 second videos, so this is critical.   I have followed the troubleshooting about turning off enhances security, etc.  Nothing works.   We are running the most recent version of Adobe DC.   1 - The COMPANY is Adobe, the PROGAM is Acrobat 2 - Moved from Using the Community (which is about the forums) to a better forum... My comments are constantly disappearing from my PDF documents using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I've lost so much work and time that I don't feel confident using the product anymore for that purpose. I often dread opening my saved documents and finding that the message "No comments yet." Relatedly, I almost never see files I've uploaded to the Creative Cloud on https://assets.adobe.com/. These products just don't seem reliable for file storage. Is it just me? Please help!

Hi everyone,I've PDF files form with some fields already filled (from scan).I would like create the rest of the form with fillable fields.I know how to create a fillable form with Acrobat but is it possible to create a "template" to apply the fillable form on each PDF file without recreate on each PDF the fillable form ?I don't know if my explanation is clear but don't hesitate to ask me questions.Thank you for your help.

I use  Adobe Acrobat Pro in Continous Release.According to the instructions, there should actually be a tool called "compare" that I can use to compare two PDFs. https://helpx.adobe.com/de/acrobat/current/compare-documents.htmlUnfortunately, the tool is not available in the sidebar.If I go to "all Tools" and search for it, I can see that the tool is there, but it's greyed out/blured:I can't find any settings to switch the feature on. What I can see ist this:It claims that compare.api is not loaded? Not sure about this.

Hi everyone,I just can't figure out, why during the conversion of Emails in Outlook to PDF the attached JPGs in the Mail are not included. Almost every other attachement, appears in the convertet PDF. Is there a explenation for this? My users open large documents, and with "show comments" turned on it takes a long time for the documents to open, sometimes even locking up the virtual machine. When I turn of the "show comments" feature for my user, it does not turn off the feature for all users, only the user that is logged in currently. I need to turn this feature off.
