Hello! We upgraded to Creative Cloud PRO - and since then, Acrobat won't open and keeps crashing. I have uninstalled and intalled it 100 times. It won't even open… I have Acrobat PRO 24.1 and i'm running with MAC OS Sequoia 15.3. Does anybody else have this problem??  Thanks !! 

Adobe will not open. Keep getting a popup stating "running instance of acrobat caused an error". I have uninstalled the app 3 times; right clicked on task bar and deleted anything opened, registry fix and tried messing around with the compatibility.  I'm lost on how to fix the error. It will not even preview the docs. I'm running Windows 10. Please help!! Been working on this for 2 hours.  

We have one Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 boxset which was registered with an Adobe ID but it recently unregistered by itself from that Adobe ID. We have tried to re-register the product back to that Adobe ID but in vain. Could you please advise how we can solve the problem? Thanks.

Help!! This has been happening for months now and it's beyond frustrating and slowing me down!! When I go to send a message to the person to request a signature it kicks me out and just goes black (I can see the document behind) but I can't do anything !! How can I fix this!??

Since moving from an imac to a mac studio all my preflight droplets have stopped working. When ever i drop a file into them i get a error message saying "Droplet" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the bin. This file was downloaded on an unknown date." I have also tried to create the custom profile fixup from scratch but i still get the same error.  These droplets are still working on my old imac but i need to get them moved to my new mac studio asap.

Is there a way to create a Table of Content from the file name and description in a pdf portfolio.  This seems like a very useful file management tool, but it is missing some very basic functions that seem like easy fixes.

I purchased Acrobat Pro 8.0 perpetual license some years ago.  I now have a new computer (Win 11) and wish to continue to use my software.  I have successfully installed it, and it works fine, except that activition requirement options are no longer available.  Internet servers appear to not be available, and the phone options listed in the software are "no longer in service".  I get a "free to use for 30 days" message, and it functions fine thus far.  Now, I realize this is an old software product, but like the old car that I drive, it is my option to continue to use it (at least as long as gas is available, and Windows 11 supports the functions I need).  I have only one other computer on which it is used (Win 10), but that isn't the issue - can't even get to that part of the question.  The issue is access to the activation in the first place. Now, I guess I respect that Adobe has switched to a subscription model, but I'm not interested in that.

I have had problem to open the PDF attachment in my email, I could not open and download the PDF attachment, and my comptur is freeze very time I try to open or download the attachment, jus twondering does anyone know what the problem is? thanks.

Hi all, date filed is not working properly, when i add the date field it comes as text field, no button for date selection. i have tried all methods from the forum, no luck!Version 24.1 (Mac)

I have an excel file with small margins, 0.25". If I set Adobe PDF to my default printer, then print, it shows up perfectly, as expected. If i save as pdf, convert to pdf, or combine files to pdf then the margins are increased in the pdf document. I've tried changing paper size and other options in the Adobe options, but it does not have any effect when converting to or combining files to a PDF.

When I try to remove the security of a signed document, I get an error that says, "You cannot remove the security of this document because it is signed or certified." What do I do? It's a document sent to me by my bank. I need to remove the password before I send it to my accountant.

When I send an attahment the Acrobat heading and tool nomenclature are included.  How do I attached just the document

I have Acrobat 11 Pro installed on a PC. I recently got a new PC and deactivated Acrobat on my old machine; however, I cannot activate It on my new machine. Can you help me activate Acrobat on my new machine?

I had radio button options that need to be required before the user can submit. It used to work but now it stopped! The text fields are still required and working, but the radio buttons (even though should required) are not working. The user can submit without them! How do I fix this?

I customize my Acrobat DC toolbar so it only shows me the tools I use.  But every time the program updates -- once every two weeks or so -- the toolbar resets and I have to do the whole process over again.  Is there a way to prevent this? 

Hi - I am running Windows 11 Home (22000.795) and Acrobat DC (2022.001.20169). I often combine individual PDFs into a single PDF. A few weeks ago, this started causing a crash. I open one PDF and then select combine and when Windows Explorer opens to allow me to select the other document to combine, Acrobat crashes with no error report. I have also tried combining using the Organize Pages function but had the same result. It is not just specific PDFs, but any PDF I try to combine with another. I have tried the reinstalling and the repair tool with no success. Sometimes I get as far as combining the two files, but it crashes before I am able to save. The only way I am able to combine is if I use the web-based Acrobat in Creative Cloud. I do use Carbonite, but I have paused it to see if that is the problem and it is still happening.  Any ideas?

Hello:I have saved a number of scanned documents (using FineReader) as image-only PDFs. However, I may need a number of them searchable in the future, so I have a couple of questions:•  Is there any way to quickly identify those PDF files that are image-only vs searchable?•  How do I convert image-only PDFs to searchable PDFs (using Adobe Acrobat or FineReader?)?Thank you for reply. Hello Community support!We are using Adobe Pro.We do not want to use e-signatures. I created a form for our vendors to fill out... check boxes Yes, No, N/A, and fillable fields. Once they are done, they sign the form. There part is now locked.When it comes back to us. We have additional check boxes and fillable field to mark compliance and notes.. then we sign.  Only then ALL fields are locked. When designing the form, I could specify the cells or checkboxes that would stay open after the vendor signs at signature 1.This would allow us to complete our part, then sign off on signature 2. In the end the form is then locked completely. This works successfully last year.Why can I not seem to make this work this year, what changed in Adobe, and how can I do this again NOT usig e-signature??? See attched where you could specify "NOTHING HAPPENS WHEN SIGNED" then you "PICK" those check boxes or fillable spaces. Thank you! 

When trying to combine files I get an error saying that "the pdf is a PDF Portfolio that contains multiple files.  The files within the PDF Portfolio have been added to the file list."It is NOT a portfolio, it is a simple one page document (converted from Word to PDF).Why do I keep getting this error?

How do I stop Acrobat from being the default for all pdf documents

We are struggling with Adobe since upgrading.  We use Tic Tie Calculate and would like to have the toolbar back, is that possible?  Also, is there any tutorial or training on this upgrade that you can point me to as we are struggling with the adobe features in general?

I'm working with a transfered engineering drawing that I need to make edits.  These red boxes with a green pointer appear when I attempt to click somwhere around I assume something detected on a document.  And when I click on it, it acts like a hyperlink forcing me somewhere on the page and it will cycle through spots.  It also makes it so I cannot work/delete edits in certain areas. Need to know how to disable.  Otherwise I'm forced to play whack a mole at work or restart from last save.  

I have spent a total of 18 hours over 3 days and talked to five people at Adobe and I'm puzzled that I am coming up with better Solutions and options than the people that work there and I'm not even in the computer field. It seems like I know more about computers than they do. I don't have time to fix your software. Then they yell at us for being nasty. What do you expect it is very frustrating. When I fall short at my job people yell at me. This is more than falling short though this complete failure as I cannot use the software im paying for with scrambled text. You need to provide sequential prompts not missing a single step on how to fix this. 

I have added a signature via fill and sign, but the " - " icon to remove the signature appears to be greyed out. It wont allow me to remove it.My program is purchased through my employment, and therefore the instructions noted on this page don't work (I just don't have those options).Is there a way I can remove the signature? Initials are already set so I cannot use this instead.Can anyone help?
