It adds itself to any new Chrome profile, even with new Windows users. I've gone through a dozen different troubleshooting recommendations online and I cannot find how the extension keeps adding itself to new Chrome profiles. Somebody please explain. Otherwise I'll need to completely uninstall Adobe Reader on all of my computers (including work computers), never install them again, recommend to anyone I know that there's effectively malware on my computer from Adobe that can't be removed (and is behaving deceiptfully, as in, when it's removed, it's not actually removed), and maybe write a blog or post a video about the incessent unauthorized behavior Adobe is trying to ram into our Chrome experience. By the way, when I downloaded the Reader install, I unchecked the box to include the Chrome extension. So it just ignored what I asked, and now won't remove itself from my home. It's quite the non-consensual behavior here, and I never let anyone into my home again if they re

I am using Acrobat web browser version, as I do not currently have access to the app. I'm working on a pdf I have saved to the cloud, and I closed the document, and opened it back up shortly after, and the last 45 minutes of highlighting had not been saved. The bit I did before that did though. I highlighted it again, and checked, and again it did not save.
Hi, I just got Adobe for Google Drive, and it works well when I fill parts in English, but on the same file, filling the same way sections in hebrew, when I save the file, it doesn't save the changes, neither does it recognize them if I want to print the file. Has anybody had this issue? how did you solve it?
Hello, I am having a hard time editing a PDF in Acrobat. Whenever i press the edit button and click on the text I want to edit it just shows these two blue lines but doesn't allow me to click in the PDF text to edit it. It often says original font not avaiable switching to Myrid Pro. I am not sure if it's a different font is the reason why but I can not click in any of the text box to edit and have tried what seems like everything. I can add text but I cannot edit the text that is already on this PDF. What am I doing wrong?
My users are reporting that even when they turn the "show comments pane" checkbox off, the next time they open a document the setting turns itself back on and slows Adobe down so much it is unusable.
I am using Acrobat Pro version 2024. I am new to Acrobat, so my question is probably very elementary.Initially I was trying to crop-off the margins from a Hebrew document. I did this successfully a few weeks ago. Anyways this time (after cropping-off the margins), when I tried to do SaveAs I got the following error:..... "This document could not be saved. There was a problem reading this document (8)". I closed and reopened the same source document and tried to do a SaveAs (without doing any editing) -- and I got the same error. I searched on the forum for "document (8)".https://community.adobe.com/t5/forums/searchpage/tab/message?q=%22document%20(8)%22&collapse_discussion=true However I did not see anything relevant to my situation.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, My Adobe (Modern) was working until sometime this afternoon when it appears it has updated to Version 24.1. Now, I cannot open any PDF files as all I get is a blank screen. I don't even get a menu bar, just a white background with the standard Windows Minimise, Maxmise and X buttons. I've uninstalled, CCcleaned, reinstalled, same problem. I can't even access the menu to switch back to the older menu version. I am running Windows 11 Version 24H2 OS build 26100.3194 and Adobe 24.1. Please adviseKen Brattey
Recently got a subscription for Adobe Acrobat, as our old Adobe Acrobat X software was getting dated.I have been completely frustrated with the Bookmarks pane opening on EVERY SINGLE PDF, and no matter how much I search for a solution, there is no global setting to remove this. This is the worst oversight for any software that I have ever seen, not being able to manipulate a setting like this globally. I don't work with the same pdf everyday as I'm publishing from CAD and reviewing different sets of drawings, so having to manually change this every single time is a bother. Genuinely considering canceling my subscription because of this and going over to Bluebeam. Adobe - do something about this. I'm clearly not the only person to bring this up as a concern or issue.
How can I create a pdf using the clipboard without text overflowing ?Is there an option for it to add pages as it creates the pdf ?
Every time I open Adobe Acrobat, I get these two screens. The only way I can get rid of them is to do a Force Quit of Distiller. I can't move the top box to make any changes to the bottom box. It's frustrating and I don't know what to do about it. I am running MacOS Seqouia 15.3. Please help!

I went to Menu>Preferences>Email Accounts and unchecked "always send files as a link (sign in required)". BUT I still cannot attached files to emails. When I use the share button the "Send as link" switch is on and greyed out so I cannot change it.
Hi, I have a brand new Macbook Pro M4, 15.3 Sequoia, 16gb, 1tb and a fresh install of Creative Cloud but whenever I try to open distiller it crashes immediately on startup. I have done the whole uninstall/reinstall thing but no positive result. Any clues on what could be the problem? Thanks.
Hello,After I close Acrobat Pro it continues to run in the background. Is this behavior by design or is there something that I need to do to prevent it? Thank you.Dave
Last week I shared a PDF using Adobe Acrobat. Today it no longer shows up under "Shared by You" within Acrobat and it also does not show up on the cloud Adobe Acrobat files "Shared by You". The file was there yesterday. But here is the kicker, the link I sent via email still opens a web version of the file and I can see everyone's comments. So I know the file still exists somewhere.I tried rebooting my computer and when I check for updates it says my Acrobat is up to date (Adobe Acrobat Pro 2024.005.20399).I'd really like to know what happened to my shared files.
hi, When some ai files are printed by adobe reader, it needs to spend more time to send the printer, is there adjust setting to improve the performance? Thanks.
I am trying to bulk send something. I keep getting a :document upload problem" email saying "We were unable to create your agreement 2025 SPC Doc because we had a problem converting your document to PDF." I have sent this doc before without issue and tried three seperate docs, none will work. I have updated my Adobe and the online version is also not working. Since I know its not the doc, is there just a site wide issue. I have been trying unsuccessfully to send this doc for hours but just can't get past "processing".
I am striving to make a template for a newsletter that is accessible. I am able to get it to work within LibreOffice Writer / Word etc.. but when the file is saved as a PDF, is where the issue begins. OK so a little background info : 1) There is an image that is in the same line as a Heading/Title There is alt text in the image properties, the image wrap is set to AFTER which means the image is on the left and the text is on the right. 2) The file was exported from Libre Office Writer using the Export PDF with the FULLY Tagged box checked AND the PDF/UA box also checked. 3) this is LibreOffice version :Version: 24.8.4.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice CommunityBuild ID: bb3cfa12c7b1bf994ecc5649a80400d06cd71002CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10 X86_64 (10.0 build 19045); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: winLocale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-USCalc: CL threadedThe screen reader is NVDA - :Version: 24.8.4.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice CommunityBuild ID: bb3cfa12c7b1bf994ecc5649a80400d06cd71002CPU threads: 4;
When saving a PDF for print file from INDD, some images and text do not show up when I open the file in Acrobat. I get a "There was an error processing a page. Invalid ColorSpace" error message. I saw this post https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/invalid-colorspace-error-pdf-file.html. and made some edits to the layout based on the suggestions, however this fix didn't stick. Is there a way to determine if there are other elements with in the document that are causing issue versus just focusing on the content that isn't showing up?
My art and production department uses an Acrobat droplet for preflighting PDFs. Two of my designers just got brand new computers and the droplet will not open after it's been set up even after going into Privacy & Security settings and selecting "open anyway." I've also tried turning off Gatekeeper through the terminal and it still doesn't work. The droplet still works on my computer but it's not new (2021) and was set up over a year ago. Does anyone have a fix for this? Or even a work-around?
Hi,I have an error message when trying to check for comments. The side panel does appear when clicking on the comment icon. It indicates that there is a comment but does not display the actual comment. When clicking on the comment icon once again we get an error message saying: '' The page has expired. Reload this page (Ctrl + R) to continue. '' Just for context, the pdf is being viewed in MS Edge in this particular case. MS Edge has been updated to the lastest version Version 133.0.3065.59. Also tried Chrome, same issue there. The comments can be viewed just fine in a desktop app when the pdf file is downloaded. Any clue to why we get this error in a web version? Thanks !
I am stuck. I am trying to search for certain words in my PDF. I see the word but CTRL+F indicates nothing is found. I am able to select the word but cannot change the font EVEN THOUGH the font is on my computer. However, if I change the text or re-type the word, I can then change the font and am able to CTRL+F and find it. If I select the text and do CTRL+C and try pasting it in "find" it displays only boxes. If I manually type the word/letters in in the "find" box, it doesn't locate anything. I've attached several images of the various messages I've recieved. At one point, the selected text said it was Times but it was clearly a sans serif font. There were are some yellow ! on some of the images and another that has a red X. I do see that some of the fonts are embedded subset but when I follow the steps on how to embed fonts in PDF's all it wants me to do is save as a PDF Setting File but then I don't know what to do with the file. One last note - I did try O
