Hi All, Lately we have been having issues with Acrobat Pro where it will just go not responding mutiple times a day, We used the Acro Cleaner tool to re-install the application which did help fix the issue for like 2 days and then it started again. We have other two mac operators with Acrobat Pro application which are going through the same issue. Acrobat Pro version : 2024.004.20219Architecture : arm64Processor: Apple M1 ProMacOS : Ventura 13.7 Can you please help us look into this issue as it is causing a lot of trouble for our opertaors even just to open small PDF files. Whenever it does happen again we will try and get a screenshot of the error message and attach to the this post but for now there is none. Much Appreciated.

I uninsttalled/reinstalled Creative Cloud and Acrobat restarted my Mac. I threw away my preferences, uninsttalled/reinstalled Creative Cloud and Acrobat restarted my Mac. I've pretty much done everything but Acrobat still malfunctions. I'm runing an M1 Macbook with OS 12.6. I have an enterprise account through my university. What's the fix? Please help me--I need this to work ASAP.
Hello, My Adobe Acrobat Pro updated a week or so ago with a completely new layout and I can't seem to find extract pages. It used to be under Organize pages, then there was an extract pages on the top bar I believe. And of course, I can't search the tools either, as I thought that would call it up. Can someone please tell me where this went to? This is the newest update (Adobe Acrobat Pro version 2023.003.20284) on a Mac.
My computer is a Mac, my default email client is Apple Mail and I am using the most recent version of Acrobat DC. I have created an email script with app.mailMsg and the bUI parameter set to false. The body of the message sends a link for a Dropbox file represented by var link . The false parameter is ignored. The message is opened in Apple Mail, composed and ready to send, but requiring userinteraction. The variables in the script are all defined and the link works as intended when clicked in the message. I need my message to send without user interaction and would appreciate insight / suggestions for accomplishing this. Here is my app.mailMsg script. app.mailMsg(false, attyEM, sendTo, "", "Welcome to ABC", "\r\r" + fn + ":\r\rThank you for accepting our invitation. Start with this Dropbox link to download essential information about Acrobat and its preferences.\r\r\t" + link + "\r\rEmail us or call if you need help.\r\r");
Since the last update, i have found a large issue when commenting on PDFs. I often work between two files, so if i start making a comment on one PDF (let's call it PDF A), and then mid comment, click on another PDF (let's call it PDF B), then the unfinished comment completely dissapears. The only way to avoid it is to post the unfinished comment before clicking on the other PDF and then returning back and editing the comment again. Given i might do this thousands of times every day, this is simply not practical. Please can you advise how to stop the comments simply disapearing mid comment. Thank you
When I scan a document into Adobe Acrobat Pro on my new Surface computer, Adobe closes before it displays the scanned pages. What am I doing wrong?
First off, I am not very techy so please be patient...I have a form I'm creating and was seeing if there was a script for a couple check boxes.Lets call them "fallc" & "fallec". I would like "fallc" to be able to be checked independently but if "fallec" is checked, I would like that to auto check "fallc" Thanks for any input
Im trying to edit a PDF with Adobe Acrobat but when I insert a page, or edit the text, or save it, it suddenly shows missing characters all over the document. I have read that this issue could arise because the fonts are not embedded correctly in the original PDF, but this is not my case, since I created the original PDF in Adobe Illustrator, and I also have read that Illustrator embeds the fonts automatically. Also, when I do the Preflight all the fonts appears embedded. The only solution that I could find that worked, is changing the font for any font, and then switch it back to the font that I want. But this is very time consuming since my PDF has 35 pages and I cannot afford changing all the fonts everytime they mess up.Do you know any permanent solution for this issue? I have read in this forum that many users are experiencing the same, so Im wondering if Adobe could fix this bug or whatever it is. Or if there's a way to export the pdf from Illustrator, in order to not have mi

Hi Adobe, In the New Version of Adobe Acrobat (2023.006.20320), when I open a PDF file that has bleeds and Rulers are activated, why does the Top Ruler cover the Top bleed of a file. In previous Version it would show the whole PDF with the bleeds and the Rulers would Not cover or interfer with the File. I have the PDF's set to Fit to Page Level as I have always in the past. Having the Rulers always activated should bump the image down to fit automatically Can Adobe try to fix this issue. Its kind of annoying having to Zoom Out every time I open a Document, when the Main settings are set to always Zoom to Page Level (or see the whole Document). Please see attached image....
Hello, I am a noob with zero JavaScript training, sorry if my descriptions are confusing. I am trying to get Time Feilds to convert military time into standard time, so that it displays as H:MM tt. I googled and found a Validation script that seems to work well (attached). However, I realized soon after, that unless I also type colon ":" I get an error message, and the fields won't recognize that I am trying to input a time. This also happened when accidently typed in a semicolon “;”. I have used forms in the past that automatically convert '0630' or '630' to "6:30 am" so I knew it was possible to leave out the colon, but as I continued researching it, I am realizing it might not be as simple as I thought. If possible, I want the fields to only consider numbers when converting to standard time, and also omit or not allow for any non-numeric characters to be typed in. Is this possible to accomplish? Any and all advice is greatly appreciated
Hi,I struggle with flattening, saving as pdf/a AND maintaining bookmarks.I am working with documentation for oil and gas.I now have to submitt the pdfs according to these requirement;"Flattened without any comments or layers and pdf/a compliant. Bookmarks maintained."I use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015 Release (Classic), with Windows 11 Pro.My pdf is a compiled file, with documents from different sources. Some parts are scanned certificates (I run OCR on these), some are datasheets in pdf from various suppliers and some are created from word. The frontpage and chapter pages are created in word. (And no, I can't get the suppliers of all these various documents to change the way they supply their file) I have been searching and trying a lot of different descriptions, but I can't get mye files to comply to these requirements with the use of Adobe Pro DC.I have tried to save to pdf/x, but get error message that it was not possible. I ran Analyze and fix like the error message said, but th

Adobe Acrobat does not respond when I enable editing on a PDF/A file, and it is running extremely slowly. I recently upgraded my PC and do not have this problem on my older MacBook Air.
Hi,Is it possible on Windows 10/11 to load plugins from the user profile instead of the default location C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\plug_ins? Can this be configured in the registry? This would give us more flexibility to provide users with plugins without having to rely on administrative or System privileges.
Unable to print PDF from online sites for invoices and other documents. The print comes out in very small print.
It recently came to my attention that Adobe Acrobat forms can be used as extremely versatile client interfaces for SQL databases or REST APIs with just a little bit of PHP scripting, primarily because Acrobat forms can POST variables to PHP scripts that execute queries on SQL databases or REST APIs based on the variables and then format and return query results to designated form fields in very near real-time. For example, this PHP script can look-up an exchange rate for a specified currency from a currency exchange API and return it to an Acrobat form field named "Result"... <?phpheader("Content-type: application/vnd.fdf");$version = isset($_SERVER['HTTP_ACROBAT_VERSION']) ? $_SERVER['HTTP_ACROBAT_VERSION'] : '';if (($version === false) or ($version == '')) {header("Location: https://yourserver.com/error.php"); die();}$endpoint = 'convert';$access_key = 'yourfixerioaccesskey';date_default_timezone_set('America/Los_Angeles');$StatMsg = date('d-m-y h:i:s');$from = $_POST["F
I am trying to get a redline document showing the differences between two PDFs, however the new compare tool only shows me a Comparison Report, with the old and new documents side by side. Please help.
I have a form created in Acrobat Pro DC (Windows) that is being used by a variety of users. It appears that regardless of who uses the form, how they use it (Acrobat, Distiller, Windows or Apple) the drop down fields will not save. The user can select the fields as they use the form but once they save the form and it is re-opened - by them or another user - all of the drop down fields have reverted back to the default field. The type in fields save just fine In a search it appears that this may be a java script error, but I am not sure how to check that. In looking at the java script I don't see anything aside from XML functionality. Admidly I am not very familar with this function.
Cada vez que ingreso a mis documentos ya leídos con anterioridad se abren desde el comienzo, necesito saber como configurarlo para que se me guarde desde el lugar en el que lo deje y cuando lo abra se continue desde ahí.
Hello! I want to send a PDF form, which the user can fill in via the browser as you can do via Adobe Fill&Sign. However there a signature is mandatory. If I don't have a signature field, one is automatically generated. Is it possible to skip this step? It is important that the recipients of the form do not have to download Acrobat etc. to fill out the form and are able to do it in the browser.
Happened to my coworker yesterday. Me today. When acrobat pro opens, a pop up window about editing pdf's come up and freezes. You can only close the application using the task manager.
An issue came up where we have a 500 page document to print from Acrobat and it will start sending the print job to the printer but the progress bar stops at around page 100 and only 10 pages actually print. This was not an issue just last month. Also, if I open the same PDF document just using built-in PDF support in Microsoft Edge and print it from there (to the same printer using the same print driver), it will send and print all 500 pages. Has something changed recently in Acrobat to cause this?
