I have a form field that is a measurement entered as a character string.The proper format is inches followed by eighths of an inch (i.e. 13 3/8).I would like to validate that:the inches are a whole number between 1 and 30the numerator of the fraction is between 0 and 7the '/' existsand the denominator is 8 How would I write that in a custom validation script?Thank you in advance for your help! 

Hola, resulta que de un dia para otro al abrir los pdf desde el explorador de archivos me sale un cuadro el cual pone error interno y pues como que le cuesta al pc abrir el pdf, el explorador de archivos a veces se congela y no responde hasta pasados 20 o 30 segundos y ya abre el pdf, tampoco puedo ver la vista previa como antes, si abro el programa todo funciona perfecto pero si abro los pdf desde el explorador es cuando aparece este mensaje y empieza a fallar, incluso el pc anda lento hasta que logra abrir el pdf, he desinstalado y vuelto a instalar el programa y nada, tambien he hecho varias cosas que aparecen en el foro y sigue sin solucionarse, es muy molesto y antes todo esto no me ocurría, espero que me puedan ayudar.

Tengo problemas al abrir un archivo en Reader este archivo esta en OneDrive manda el mensaje "Error al abrir el documento. La ruta no existe" y lo lo quiero abrir desde la carpeta que me crea OneDrive, si desde esta carpeta le pido que lo abra desde Edge o Chrome si lo abre: si este archivo lo copio y pengo en mi PC si lo abre correctamente, ya proble abirr otros archivos de mi carpeta de OneDrive y los abre correctamente, solo tengo el problema con ese archivo

Hello,  I need to send documents out for e-signatures and have not had a problem until now.  I've indicated where to sign on the document and the "Preparing document for reading" is stuck about a quarter of the way through and doesn't progress.

Adobe Acrobat Pro No error code ?!?! .... how do I fix this ?   I reboot the machine and it's stable for a while but it crashes with this error  soon afterIs there a log I can view somewhere ? Thanks in advance

Hi, I have the latest version of Acrobat Pro DC.  Previously, I've been able to perform a save as on a PDF and choose JPG to convert a PDF to JPG.  Now, I do not have any options when doing a save as (can only resave as PDF).  I attempted to export the PDF to a JPG, and everything seems OK, but the JPG format is not recoginzed by any of my programs.  The exported JPG can be opened in Photoshop, but none of my other programs are compatible with this JPG (Windows photoviewer, ACDSEE photoviewer and most importantly for my work AutoCAD does not recognize the JPG).  Given this has been a basic function I've been using for years on various Adobe programs this is very frustrating.  Any help would be appreciated.  

Solution: Disabling Protected Mode to Resolve PDF to JPG Conversion IssueAfter some investigation, it seems the issue might be related to a setting in the Security (Enhanced) tab in Adobe Acrobat. Here's how you can resolve it:Open Adobe Acrobat.Go to Edit/Menu > Preferences.Navigate to the Security (Enhanced) tab.Uncheck the box labeled Enable Protected Mode at startup.Click OK and restart Acrobat.This should allow the PDF to JPG conversion process to complete successfully. How can I guarantee any file uploaded to PDF to PowerPoint and then deleted in my account is deleted from all Adobe platforms in compliance with GDPR? 

I got really frustrated because random text was being deleted. And saw that I'm not the only person with this issue. I think Adobe doesn't realize that LESS is MORE!!! Who needs half the crap that Acrobat has? To delete text or white out there is a whole work around instead of a simple click and drag to white out. Or if I want to draw a line. LET ME DRAW A LINE! Instead I can make an AI video about some text?! Who needs that!? Honestly all these companies had better programs back in the 90s. Simple and easy to use. Now you need a PHD to understand half this nonsense. And all this junk is causing issues with the program like deleting my text. When the big crash happend with Crowdstrike a couple weeks back, do you know who was fine? South West Airlines becuase they still use Windows 3.1.. Cause if it works, not broken, why change it? But companies like Adobe LOVE to suck out the money from your pocket making you think you need half the crap they make. Wasting my time with

How does one change the defaults to be set as "letter" instead of "legal" for the paper size so every document is scanned in the aforementioned size when scanning a document.  Below is a process I found that works, but it adds several steps since you have to manually select the size every time a document is scanned. When scanning a significant amount of documents, these additional steps really make it significantly more time consuming.  Previously, the application scanned all documents in the letter size.  I don't know why or how it changed.  I would like to automatically scan all documents in letter without having to select the custom scan option.  Here is one work around I found (again more time consuming)File > Create > PDF from Scanner > Custom Scan> Select LetterWhen I open Devices and Printers (control panel)Two the main two printers are the HP Laserjet MFP and Adobe printer The printer/ scanner being used:HP Laserjet M1530 MFP Series  (S

Hi I'm unable to extract pages in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.In the Organize Pages area, I've highlighted the pages needed but when I click Extract I get the dialog box "Please enter a valid page range"No matter what type of page selection I try - one page, two pages, odd pages - I still get the "Please enter a valid page range"  dialog box upon hitting the Extract button.What's the solution to this? How can I extract pages from a pdf when using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC?

I Opened a document .pdf  already signed by a colleague of mines with Adobe Showing the subjected warning about the signature present on it. The user certificate signature has been generated in our internal CA. Hello, I have created an Indesign document with a fundraising thermometer, then exported to pdf. It has been approved for print, but now my client wants a digital version where the managers can click each section of the thermometer as the goal is reached, and have it fill in with colour. I have created a document in Illustrator with 10% to 100% filled thermometers as artboards and also a version as layers. How do I import them so that the manager can click in the 10% area and it will show the 10% filled image? I have attached the document and a sample filled in part of the thermometer. Hope this makes sense...I'm desperate lol. Any help greatly appreciated!! Thank you in advance.

I'm a single user on a single laptop.  I have a personal user account and a work user account.  Do I have to install Adobe DC twice???   

I have a simple weekly sum of fields form that updates in real time correctly in the top three of the four tables.The bottom TEAM table also works in real time for the first ten columns. But the last two columns, Team Total, do not update automatically.Field order seems to be correct.Any ideas why this is happening?

Our application generates billing notices as PDFs which are then emailed out to people.  We are seeing an issue where some computers are not displaying the fonts correctly.  Fonts are not embedded but the document only contains Arial, ArialBold, and CourierNew - each of which are confirmed to be installed on all devices viewing the PDF.  All test devices are using Adobe Reader 2024.004.20220, all options under Preferences>Page Display>Rendering are the same on each device.

Hello everyone, i would like to know if it is possible to convert an Excel file type to PDF in a way that the comments/notes in Excel would show as a "pop up" in PDF(as a light red shade over the cell that pops up when the mouse hovered over the light shade area).Does anyone have an answer as how to find this function?. Dear Sirs,I've a problem with some licences of ACROBAT X Pro.I've bought some licences it and I've used it for several years, more than 10, on all of my office PC.Now, from today, the prgram told me that my licences are not valid, or better, the serial number is invalid.I don't know why because,  up to now it has worked correctly without giving problems of this type.I have also done a check on the other machines and on these too there is the same problem.I have 12 licenses for which I have the codes, but I have no other data, what can I do?, given that the person I bought it from is no longer there?There is someone who can help me in order to restore the correct funcitionality of the programs on all my machines?Thanks in advance

Since 2014 I had been using Adobe Acrobat Standard X on my HP 18 All-in-One PC 18-5107Ain which had Windows 8.1 Single Language as the 64-Bit Operating System. An authorised service centre of HP in Mysore City, Karnataka State, India formatted the C drive on Saturday, January 18, 2024 as my HP 18 All-in-One PC 18-5107Ain had become slow. They have installed Windows 10 as the new Operating System. I was able to download Adobe Acrobat Standard X or Adobe Acrobat 2017 from my Adobe Account. But I have not been able to activate Adobe Acrobat Standard X or Adobe Acrobat 2017 on the Windows 10 Operating System despite giving the correct serial number because I have not been getting the option of Adobe Acrobat Standard X in the drop down menu whenever I am trying to upgrade! Tanveer(Tanveeruddin Syed)

If I have a PDF with fillable fields saved to Adobe Cloud and open on two different devices, can I expect that when changes to the fillable fields are saved on one device (to the cloud) they should automatically be reflected in the open copy on the other device? Currently it seems that I need to close and reopen the PDF on the other device in order to see the changes, but not sure if there is a preference that I can update to get the desired behavior.

I'm trying to convert a Word document to a PDF with simple markup, but it either shows all the markup or nothing. How can I do this, please?

There is a document I am editing and can't turn off the "bold" option in the format box.The text I am editing is not bold and it is a font that is included in Acrobat.I have tried changing fonts and even "adding text" and text still comes out "bold".Maybe it's something dumb but I need to get this document done.
