The text is readable.The Highlight tool is turned ON (checked).The highlight tool will only underline text and open a comment.I have  Adobe CC Windows, and everything is up to date. UGGH adobe! Thank you in advance to all kind, sympathetic Adobe users who are also frustrated with the decline of user-friendliness in Adobe apps.

Hey everyone! I have recently made an interactive PDF that has a large amount of buttons and show/hide features, and one of the questions that the client has asked is if there is a way to prevent the 'selected button' box highlight from showing in the end. I think this must be a preference to one's own settings on their Acrobat, but I thought I would check here in case someone new? I don't even know what you would call that box other than button selection, so even searching for it is confusing to me. Here are some screenshots of what I am referring to. One shows the box around text (built into a button) and one shows the box around an icon serving as a button. I've also attached the Interactive PDF to the post in case you want to see it happen on your end. Thanks for any info you can offer! I'm always referring to the forums, so if the answer exists, I'm confident you all can help. 

Why am I getting a Flash Player notice to download the latest version when that has been phased out in 2020? I got the notice when trying to add Rich Content. See attached screenshot.

Lt. diversen Anleitungen im Internet soll es im Dialogfeld der Formularfeldeigenschaften für Textfelder acht Registerkarten (Allgemein, Erscheinungsbild, Position, Optionen, Aktionen, Format, Validierung und Berechnung) geben.Bei mir werden nur die ersten vier Registerkarten angezeigt.Wie komme ich zu allen Registerkarten? Hello! I'm having an issue where in "Prepare Form" when I make a signature or date field, upon saving, the fields bahave as text fields, where in the past they did not. Imaged below are some of the fields in question with sensitive information redactedIn other forms I've created, the singature form always has a red banner on the top upon saving, indicating that an E-signature can be placed there. Here's and exampleFor some reason, though, since the most recent update of acrobat, these new signature and date fields behave as text fields. Does anyone know how to fix? When looking into this issue, I found that it may be possible that I selected "This document requires signatures" which I stopped doing. I've also seen people state that when in the Prepare Form menu, to click "More" then "Revert to Acrobat Form" to convert it back to a regular acrobat form, but I can't find that option in the side menus: Any ideas? 

I believe there was an update recently and the option to change scale and ratio has disappeared from the tool options. Is there a new way or what happened?

Hi -I have Acrobat Pro DC, version 2017.012.20095, and in the last few weeks View > Zoom > Pan and Zoom doesn't pop up the floating window when I try to turn it on.  A checkmark appears and disappears beside the menu option but the window doesn't pop up. Over the past few months it's become more erratic, but usually restarting Acrobat will make it pop up normally.  Now even that doesn't work.  I use that floating window a lot when setting destinations manually or resetting auto-set ones, the top is a great guide to get absolutely consistent distance from top of screen. Alternatively, is there another pop-up floating window in Acrobat?Thanks!

I've learned this is a common problem with the software...when you use the redaction tool, it freezes the app when you click "apply." I've read from forumns about the workaround, but it's not working so I'm seeking advice on another solution and workaround.Just to clarify, this is what I've tried and what my experience was.1st WORKAROUND I TIED: Change the language from ENGLISH WITH ARABIC SUPPORT to ENGLISH; Edit>Preferences>LanguageSelect "Choose at application startup",close Acrobat and reopen it.When prompted, select English and check if the issue with the redact tool is resolved. Unfortunately, these options aren't the same in my preferences. When I go to Language, there's no "choose at application startup." There is a drop down for application language but there is not an option with "ENGLISH WITH ARABIC SUPPORT." When I did this the first time, it was set on "Same as the operating system" (and my computer is set to "english" with "US" as the region). Ironica

Trying to print a passport form but any pages that have been edited (text boxes filled in) aren't printing. Pages that weren't edited are printing fine. Have taken off 'enabled enchanced security' and also attempted to print as image but no luck

Upon entering full screen on the MBP14 (2021), the available screen real estate reduces to the area equivalent to a MBP13. This cuts off the notch (as expected) and adds bezels to the sides. It seems that Acrobat needs an update to recognize the full screen resolution of the new Macbook Pros. This is similar to my experience with Lightroom, as posted in this thread: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/lr-on-new-14-quot-macbook-pro-not-using-all-screen-real-estate/m-p/12629337

I have and Adobe Acrobat Pro Subscription that always alowed me to Fill & Sign using the desktop App.However, even though my subscription is still active,  Fill & Sign does not seem to laucnh anymore on the desktop version of Adobe? I have repaired reinstalled and restarted my PC mutiple times in mutiple iterations to get the Fill & sign on Desktop functionaliy back but it seems it has been removed?Fill & Sign is still available online, but this is cumbersome as you have to open the web app, upload documents for it to fill & Sign which used to be native in the DEsktop Adobe Pro.Please confirm if this has officially been removed from the destop version or if there is some eroor on my install?

I have created some pretty massive documents. They are pdf's with newspaper clippings embedded. Lately I have been getting this error a lot. Very frustrating because I have put so much work into them. I am on the fastest mac you can buy, with the most up to date OS, and my acrobat is up to date as well.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

For multiple years now the Combine Files, Edit PDF, Fill & Sign, Export PDF, and Organize Pages tools do not work. Whenever I try to use them I get a couple of different problems, but the most common is a blank popup window. And that is all that happens. This first picture is the outcome of trying to use the Combine Files, Edit PDF, Export PDF, or the Organize Pages  tool. Nothing happens after this, nothing is loading within the blank window. It's just a useless window that stops me from using either tool. Also, when trying to use any editing options from the Edit tab (Add Text, Add Image, Add Text & Images, Rotate Pages...), they all do nothing but open the same empty popup window. This second picture is when I try to add my signature in the Fill & Sign tool. Surprisingly enough, the Text option and checkmarks do actually work! When I try alternative methods to add my signature, such as Edit -> Add Image, I get the same blank popup window as mention

Hi, i'm writing because I have a big problem. I'm paying for an adobe account (not this one) which I have no access to, nor know exactly which one is it. All I know is i'm paying 24 a month for something I'm not using. I tried to see if it was my parents account, but got no success. All i want to know is which account I'm paying for, so I can cancel it. I would be very grateful if someone could give me an answer

Hello everyone, I am having a problem with digital signatures. When I sing the document in Adobe Acrobat, everything is okay. But when someone else signs the document after me, my signature becomes invalid. The same thing happens to my colleaugue's signatures when I sign the document after them. We cannot solve this problem. How can we fix this? Thank you in advance! 

Hi, I have PDFs that will not open in Acrobat but will in Microsoft Edge.  All the failures have the security message in Properties: 'This file came from another computer and might be locked to help protect this computer'. When I click unblock I get an error message: 'An error occurred while applying attributes to the file....The system cannot find the file specified'. I have recently changed set up: new PC, One Drive to Dropbox and move to windows 11. I have purchased acrobat Pro but cannot use it! Please help!

Hey guys,we are struggeling with a problem.We did generate a proper form - so far so good. Now did fill out the pdf form on an iPad and Mail it back to a Mac - all the text fields got a doubled text input. We don't have double text fields in the form (as this is a common reason) We are completly stuck. Any idea how to fix that? Truly appreciate any advice. Regards,David

I have Acrobat Reader on my PC. I am trying to open a PDF document on an external hard drive but I get the following message: "There was an error opening this document. Access denied". I have tried all the possible solutions I could find but nothing is working.

Hello, I feel like this should be relatively straight-forward, but I cannot seem to locate an answer - or, at least, I cannot seem to get any of the answers I've found to work for me. I am creating a form (specifically a rubric) that has multiple groups of 6 radio buttons, each with values ranging from 5 to 0. I'm trying to figure out how to calculate the total percentage score for all the groups of radio buttons. For instance, my two groups (Group1 and Group2) all have the radio button with a value of 5 selected, the score of the rubric would be 100%. Both groups with the value 4 selected would give me 80%, and so on. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hello!!Can you help me please?I reinstalled it from CC but, nothing changed.

I have a PDF file attached to an email in outlook.  When I preview the file it shows the correct information on the PDF form it has the correct date and everything.  IF I download the file or just open it from the email it shows and older form from 2001.  I have never seen or heard of this before.  Anyone else out there?

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 2024 version.There are poems on the web that have been printed and now appear as png files.I drag the page from the wb to my desktop, then drag it into Acrobat.Then, I select "Edit a PDF", which converts the fonts into text.Each line of converted text of the poem shows up as a separate line in Acrobat.My goal is to combine all the separate lines (along with their existing line breaks), in order to paste the entire text of the poem into WordPress. Is that possible?If possible without line breaks that would also be ok, but not ideal.Any assistance would be grately appreciated.
