I am having trouble to export emoji fonts ( Noto color emoji and Segoe UI Emoji) when exporting to pdf, either from Illustrator or InDesign. How can it be solved? How is it possible that there is no correct support for these type of fonts since emojis have been around for a while know?
Hi, Does anyone know where/how I can get a visual list of the standard font formats available in Adobe Acrobat IX. Albeit typing something with every font format to see what is looks like it would be great if someone can point me to a document that shows me what each font looks like.Note: there is one available for Folio 11 but I can't see any of the same font formats as my IX version.. (http://wwwimages.adobe.com/content/dam/acom/en/fontfolio/pdfs/fontfolio11.1_font_list.pdf )
I cannot disable the new Acrobat. I click disable from the menu, click restart but it simply comes back to the new version. How to a keep the old version?
I have multiple users attempting to do re-installs for Acrobat. Both standalone and within Creative Cloud. I have also run repairs. Acro Cleaner and the Creative Cleaner tools are not helping to clean out registry files and these files are sticky. I should not have to run Regdelnul for every sticky file for every user. Is there an updated cleaner tool? I get no specified error codes but based on experience, I'm 99% sure that those sticky registry files are the issue.
When i open my form it resets to current date. I want people to be able to choose current date or manual date or fix the date after saving. I have the following code, but that doesn't seem to work as planned. When not choosing the checkbox the textfield will be empty. if(this.getField("chkDateSign").valueAsString != "Off") this.getField("Dato2_af_date").value = util.printd("dd.mm.yyyy", new Date()); else event.value = "";
We are experiencing issues with the new feature "open in app" in OneDrive / SharePoint.Microsoft 365 Roadmap | Microsoft 365Open a OneDrive or SharePoint file in the desktop app instead of the browser - Microsoft SupportWhile I can use this function without any problem on my pc, it doesnt work on a Citrix Desktop instance. This doesn´t mean it doesn´t work at all in Citrix, because we have users where it´s working fine. The problem happens when trying to save a file back to SharePoint. Normally it´s just saved back to the original file location (via OneDrive Sync Client) when you click save. But in this case a save under popup opens in Acrobat reader.Acrobat reader is set as default app in Windows and it opening the file in desktop app from a SharePoint Online browser window works. But saving back fails. Any help on this?
I purchased a monthly subscription to Adobe Acrobat which came with a free 7 day trial. On day 8 the payment was withdrawn from my credit card. But I no longer have access to Acrobat as my free trial has ended and I need to purchase a plan. (That's the issue, I have purchased a plan, I'm paying for it, but it's not reflected in my adobe account)
Good morning,Thank you for this delivery of Acrobat.I have just installed 1 of the 5 licenses on 1 “QCM reader” PC in our administration.Connection to my account is necessary to activate the installation, this is normal. On the other hand it seems that the application is permanently connected to my mail address account and that by clicking on Help then an entry whose name I do not remember exactly you can reach my web interface, change email or password...It seems to me that it is dangerous to give all my users this right!Isn't there a way to disable this entry?I tried to reply to your email but it doesn't work...THANKSSincerely,

I have a PDF file that has editable text fields within that calls for a specific text font (OCRAStd). However, when we open this PDF file, the text field not display the OCRAStd font but some other font (not sure what font it is). Does anyone know why this is happening and how we can "fix" the issue so it will display the proper font? Some background information that may be of use:- the PDF file was created using a Mac- the PDF file was opened/viewed using a PC (Adobe Acrobat Pro Version 2024.003.20112 64-bit)- I changed to this version of Adobe Acrobat Pro was recent (last 3 months). I didn't have this issue in the prior version (Adobe Acrobat Standard 2017).- I tried to change to a different font for the text field and then change it back to OCRAStd font, but this OCRAStd font is not longer available to select [note: it initially showed near the BOTTOM of the font list (see attached picture), but when I changed the font and tried to select it ag
I'm using Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) (24.005.20320). Since the latest update, I can no longer insert text as a comment by right-clicking. In other words, when I place my cursor between characters (not highlighting text) and right-click, the menu contains the following options:Highlight textStrikethrough textAdd a comment to replace textAdd note to textThe option to insert text as a comment appears in the vertical toolbar, but not in this menu. Is there a way to add it to the menu? I've looked in Preferences, but can't see a way to do it.
Hi!I have a PDF file which has numbered sentences in one section and when I save it out of Acrobat Pro to a Word document, the resulting Word document has the numbers replaced by auto-number fields. This is not good. My questions are:1. why is this happening?2. how do I stop it from happening?Using Adobe Acrobat XI Pro and Word 2013.To make it even more interesting, the PDF in question also includes numbered paragraphs ("[001]" format) in another section of the document, but these are converted to text in the resulting Word document. Thanks in advance,-R
I compressed a PDF (See attached sample file) but the result is not in A4 format. How can I change the format to A4? The recipient requires A4 to process my request. Adobe Acrobat Pro Version 2024.005.203.20MacOS 12.7.6. Architecture: x86_64. Processor: Intel. Build: 24.5.20320.0. AGM: 7.1.9.CoolType: 9.1.0. JP2K: 4.0.2.54782
I regularly convert AutoCAD dwg files to pdf files. Some of the lines in these drawings have bolder lineweights, to emphasize them. When I view the pdf files in Acrobat Pro, the lineweights all default to a single width. However, when I preview these same files in gmail, the lineweights display correctly, so obviously, the lineweights were saved as part of the pdf's. Is there an Acrobat display setting that I can change to correct this issue?
I have 'Redact PDF' as part of my subscription, visible in my online account, but when I attempt to use it the Adobe Acrobat app tells me that it is not part of my subscription. I have repaired installation, deleted and reinstalled, and returned to the old version of Acrobat - none of them have helped. I used to be able to use Redact without issues - this is a new problem which has occurred within the past months. Any suggestions appreciated.
I have a need to add an e-signed PDF to another document. In this case I need to add the signed purchase authorization to the credit card form. Based on a search, I saw that this can be accomplished by using the Combine Files tool. However, when I attempt to do this it's asking for a Permission Password. I never set a permission password, and my understanding is a random password is assigned by the software. However, I can not find this password anywhere. When I check File>Properties>Security, it shows a permission password is set, but no information about what the password is or how to find it. How do I find the permission password for an e-signed pdf? If this is not available, how do I add an e-signed document to another document?
I'm being asked if you can have a dropdown that contains several selections. When they choose a selection they want the dropdown next to it to have a specific set of selections. So if someone chooses A in the first dropdown the one next to it would list AA AB AC. If someone chooses B in the first then the dropdown would list BA BB BC.
I started my machine last week and a new version of acrobat had been installed. Great. That means new features that will make my design life more productive. In this case that does not seem to be the case. I hope I am mistaken here as I have already heard from others that this is a problem. Please direct me to the typing tool...not a textbox. The typing tool can be used to add textg anywhere on the document and is an incredibly powerful tool for those of us that are not advanced users (I spend my much of my time in cad). Any help here will be greatly appreciated.
Hey fellows "an error occurred while sending mail" in a specfic rds server for example when i open a PDF file in rds-01 and try to send it to Outlook i can performe this action but when I open a file in rds-02 and i do the same action the message " an error occurred while sending mail in a specfic rds server" appearsplease help me to fix the problem!
We recently started using Acrobat Pro for a few users. They use SharePoint. It seems that if we add a top level site, no problem. Example: https://somecompany.sharepoint.com/sites/SomeImportantShares But we have a user who only has access to a sub folder in the above example. So their URL includes all the additonal info in the link regarding the user and subfolder. Example: https://somecompany.sharepoint.com/sites/SomeImportantShares/Layout/15/%Documents/User%20Folders/Jane%20Doe?csf=1&web=1 (Not the exact structure, but you get the idea.) I'm thinking that Adobe will only add the SharePoint storage if it is the top level of the site and not direct to a sub-folder. The user does not have permissions for any of the higher level folders or the root site. Only that folder buried within the site. Any insights are much appreciated. M
HiWe receive PDF document via email. We can open PDF - all good. We upload PDF to SharePoint, we can open the PDF in SharePoint - all good. The file can be opened several times in SharePoint until suddenly an error message appears saying couldnt open - not supported file type, or file damaged. Have spent nealy 3 hours in 2 Microsoft calls to try to resolve - they checked everything and couldn't fix. MS said call Adobe. Can't log call for actual support from Adobe without a plan, and dont understand on line solutions offered by Chatbot. This is only happening to 2 out of 10 users who are all on same Office 365 Business Standard plan. Lap tops have been checked, software, software updates - all checked by support technician and via MS support - so am asking for help and guidance from community. Any help, guidance welcome. Thanks!
I keep getting notifications that the Adobe Acrobat Reader update failed, but I don't event have it on my computer. I only have Adobe Acrobat Pro which is up to date. Any suggestions for cleaning this up? Thanks.

Hello,I have just signed up with a business account for Acrobat to work with PDFs. There are 2 of us in the organization (more to add later.) I want to share a bunch of PDFs on a weekly basis to the other person. I DO NOT want to have to share documents individually. The business account comes with "Libraries." As far as I can see, this is how I want to share a FOLDER with a bunch of PDFs that will be changed weekly. But how can I put anything into this Library? Drag and drop does not work. Saving a file to my own Document Cloud doesn't make it accessible in the Library. And "Share to a Library" is not a thing. And, I can't share the Folder in My Files. I tried the Chat help, but the Chatbot was useless, and the "real people" kept transfering me to other "real people." Why is this so hard to find? Thank you
Hi Tariq,I have the same error message below when using my Acrobat Pro DC subscription to sign a document.Below error appears, but the link you sent is asking to set up a free trial. Please could you help?
