Hello, I have a user who is printing from Acrobat and the text is printing as random characters or boxes on select documents. This occurs on any printer, and the file appears normal when previewing it in Acrobat. The user will print several documents from the same source, which are all formatted the same, but only select ones have an issue printing correctly. The issue is occurring with select documents from several sources. The user is receiving these documents by email, and when they print out of the email directly, they print normally. However, once the document is saved and printed through Adobe it prints incorrectly.  Adobe is up to date, and the "save as optimizes for fast web view" setting is turned off. Any other ideas?

Dear Adobe community,I have a question regarding special characters in Adobe Pro. I have the 2020 version and when inserting text, there are a few special characters that don't copy from my keyboard, such as the pipe or the "bigger than". When looking the issue up online, I was told to go to the keystroke combination settings, only that I do not find them in my menu. Is this a version issue or does anyone know how to fix this?Thank you very much for any pointers!

After uninstalling multiple times and reinstalling, Acrobat Standard continues to be installed and not Acrobat Pro, which is what my subscription is for. It was fine for six months until I had to reinstall Acrobat. I'm using the correct login details and I've previously used the cleanup tool to wipe my computer clean of the previous install.

I used to be able to share a pdf by text, with anyone who had a smart phone.  Now I try to share a pdf and I'm sent to a site and asked to sign up for WHATSAPP.  I don't want to use another app, I don't know if the people I share with will have whatsapp.   Please take a step back and make it easier for sharing pdf's.

I would like to insert the electronic signature on several places of a pdf document in a simultaneous way. That is to say that when we sign on page 1, the other pages are also signed.

I am having an issue since the latest windows update and Adobe updates where opening up multiple pdf's take an extremly long time. The problem appears to get worse if the file is large and the more pdf' you have open th slower it gets as well. If you close adobe acrobat down and reopen the first file opens quickly. I have 32 GB of RAM on a 13 generation i7 processor so processing power is not the issue. I have also tried disabling the security and enhanced security as well as disabling the show online storage when opening files. I have also disabled the modern Acrobat interface.

Hallo, seit dem Update auf Windows 11 habe ich einen Anzeigefehler bei der Nutzung vom Adobe Reader DC. Der Fehler äußert sich wie folgt:Wenn mehrere Dokumente geöffnet sind = z.B. 3 Dokumente,dann werden in der Windows Taskleiste 4 Adobe Fenster angezeigt,in der Vorschau bei Mouseover werden 5 Dokumente angezeigt, wie man erkennen kann teilweise doppelt:  Schließt man in der Vorschau ein Fenster, dann bleibt dennoch ein schwarzer Platzhalzter weiterhin bestehen:Die Installation wurde bereits 1x über das Menü => Hilfe repariert und auch eine Neuinstallation wurde bereits durchgeführt.. Kennt jemand diesen Anzeigefehler? Danke im Voraus

After years of using Acrobat Pro X I was forced to get a subscription for Acrobat DC Pro because X wouldn't install on my new system. For many, many reasons I am very unhappy. The latest is annoyance is cropping pages. I've always been able to select the section of the page I wanted to keep and crop much as you would in Photoshop. Following the Adobe instructions, I am never able to draw a frame of the area to be cropped. The cursor turns into an arrow, but it doesn't respond. All I get is a "Set Page Boxes" dialog. Is there another way of doing it?

I guess that's the issue. I urgently need to digitally sign two key documents for a patent application. I signed one. Then the option to use the signature greyed out. It is visible (an scanned image of my handwritten signature), but in all other ways unusable. So I upgraded to Pro. Same issue.I've created a new digital certificate and assigned its use to e-sign. Yet, all options under "Use certificate" remain greyed, and "Fill&Sign" still shows me the old image of my signature, but does not let me use it. I used the Updater to install all available add-ons. No change. I am at my wit's end. Lend an old man a hand, please.

In Adobe Acrobat, I need to create a new pdf with the the printing function Booklet so it organizes directly my pages. But to print outside, not on my printer. How can I add (MacOs Apple) a pdf in the printer selection? The pdf is already created so I'm not rebuilding in InDesign 😉 Thanks for your suggestions,Sophiena

I see old threads that are locked and I cannot reply...I deleted the plugin as someone instructed. It still crashes.So my 10 min edits have taken 40 min..No to be crass, but is there a developer that didnt know how to do soimething? 

I'm not sure if the title makes sense, but this is what I am trying to do; in the text box, I am typing in a state's abbreviation and need the abbreviation to be in parenthesis, but I don't want to have to put in the parenthesis every time. Is it possible to just type in the two letters but the output of it would switch to the letters be surrounded by the parenthesis? textbox1: I type in IL, output: (IL)

How do I get a word count for a PDF doc or for a selected passage?

I want to allow up to 3 digits in a text field but if I enter 999 under the Arbitrary Mask option and only enter 2 digits in the fillable field when testing the form, I get an error message. Is there a way to type in a symbol to indicate 'up to 3 digits'?

I created a fillable form that is being used as an application to a training program. We have just started using this form, and have gotten two returned. When I view the files that were returned, it looks ok, but when I go to print it, we get the following error:An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem.Then, the document prints but some of the fields have duplicated text (so it appears like a second identical set of text is overlapped, but ever so slightly off center. So it gives a "double vision" effect).This double vision effect happens with some of the fields, but not all of them.Any idea what might be going on here? This fillable form was saved as a Reader-enabled document and I don't know what program was used to fill out the forms. When I go to save a combined file in acrobat I get this blank screen. It happens when I go to save, save as. I can circumnavigate this by saving as a reduced file size. I have just uninstalled and reinstalled acrobat after adobe window kept coming up with can't verify subscription

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 on a couple of M1 Silicon Macs which were both recently updated to Tahoe 26.0.1.One of the ways I use Acrobat is to export a doc from Quicken and then copy/paste some additional info on a web site into that document. I should clarify that these are screen clippings that go into Preview.This has worked great, until the update to the new OS. Now when I paste a clip from Preview on the Mac it is truncated-only the top left corner of the clip is pasted.I can paste the clip into other software--OneDrive, Word, Pages, even a Mac Mail message. The problem only seems to happen in Acrobat.I know the version of Acrobat I have is ending support soon and won't be upgraded again, so I'm trying to decide what to do since I depend on it. If anyone has any experience with this problem I'd appreciate hearing from you. Thanks so much,Judy

By default, a few Adobe software will install the Arabic language by default and this cause lots of problems. E.g. can't get your sign synced in Acrobat.  Lots of people reported this problem before, and the solution is always to uninstall the Arabic language. So, my question is why force people to install the Arabic language in the first place? This doesn't make any sense.
