Hello,I am preparing a project in Illustrator/InDesign. It’s not for a bound book but for loose sheets. After cutting, the final size needs to be 200x110 mm, so I set the artboard size in Illustrator to 200x110 mm and added a 5 mm bleed. I've completed my design, but when I export it as a PDF, the MediaBox and CropBox dimensions show as 223 mm.This means that for my design, which should fit on A5 paper, the person doing the digital printing will need to use A4 paper. However, I want them to use A5 paper, but the MediaBox ends up being 223 mm each time. What would you recommend as a solution?Thank you!
I have seen all the other posts regarding this. I go to "manage plan" When I click it I get only one option - end plan. I don't want to do that. I have seen it say to try again in 24 hours. I have tried over several days - no change. I want to avoid the new price increase by paying once a year. I don't see any other way to contact someone for help. Help!
In the previous version of Acrobat, you used to be able to select a default color for highlighting. I use color-coded highlighting a lot and I can't find a way to change the default highlight color in Acrobat DC. It looks like the only choice I have is to change the highlight color of each highlight individually. Where did the highlight color preference go?
We previously had Adobe Acrobat Standard 9 and upgraded to DC. We use an add on called Tic, Tie, Calculate. In Adobe 9 we could add an additional toolbar under the Adobe one to access the tools we needed. I now can't figure out how to do that, is it even possible? We also had a feature with the add on where we could add a Rex box with or without text to a document. We now can't do that. Is there a feature in Adobe that does this?
I am reporting that this program is interfering with Windows 10 on my system. If this program is enabled in the task manager on the startup tab, desktop windows will cover the taskbar when moved to the lower part of the screen. Once the program is disabled, things return to work normally on my desktop.Sorry, Adobe, but you continue to deceive me!
I need to extract information from a PDF of a US Corporate Income Tax Return (aka Form 1120 returns) to Excel. Are there any features in the Adobe suite that would allow me to perform this conversion accurately? OCR does not appear to be very reliable given the complexity of these forms. Similarly, exporting to Excel has problems with merged columns and checkboxes. The IRS publishes various fake US 1120 returns. Take a look at the relatively standard/low to moderate complexity return. https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-wi/ty24-f1120-ats-scenario-4.pdf Try extracting info from the table labeled Schedule L on page 9/64 of the adobe document. Thank you,Pablo
Hi,I have Adobe Acrobat Pro, both the desktop app and the online version. I prefer to use the online version, but there are differences between that version and the desktop version. In particular, there is no option in the online verstion to create links. Under Edit, there are just options to insert text and images. Is that feature simply not available in the online version? That would be disappointing. Here is a screenshot from the online versionThanks!
Hello, I'm trying to request signatures through Adobe Acrobat Pro: Online. After I upload the document for which I'm requesting signatures, the e-signature portal buffers indefinitely, as shown in the picture below. Wondering if there's another way to request signatures, or if there's something else I can do to get the file to appear within the e-signature portal.
Hi All. I had a very frustrating experience with Acrobat Pro ceasing to open on my Windows 11 laptop after it not having a problem for years. I do like Acrobat and use it everyday but was tempted to cancel out of frustration. However, I would like to present the solution that worked for me as I see others having the same frustration. I read what we all have from re-installation, Acrobat installation cleaner, and even deleting my Windows user account (yikes). In a few places Adobe has stated that this is a Windows problem, which is actually not fully true. But I noticed something. This might not be true for all of us but it may be helpful to some. I have a personal (read local) user account and an Office 365 work user account with the Office apps downloaded to the laptop. Both accounts can see and use Office. The local account can see and open Acrobat without any issue. The work account did not. The differenc
I've noticed this question has been asked many times, but I haven't found a clear solution. On my previous laptop, I used the "Save as Adobe PDF" feature in Word, and it always saved the PDF file in the same folder as the Word document. However, on my new laptop, the feature always defaults to the last folder I used to save a PDF, rather than the current document's folder.I have a paid Creative Cloud subscription on both laptops. The only difference is that the old laptop runs Windows 10, while the new one runs Windows 11.

How do I send a document to my desktop folder?
I paid to upgrade to Acrobat Standard today and paid the extra $6.99 for AI Assistant for Acrobat. I was watching videos on the website after purchasing about ways to use the AI Assistant and one recommended uploading job postings and asking the AI Assistant what the top 5 skills are for that role, and then opening your resume and asking the AI Assistant to help you add bulletpoints to showcase those skills as a way to help boost your resume with many companies using AI to screen resumes now and if you don't match a certain number of keywords they'll toss your resume aside even if you are more than qualified for the position. I opened a job posting and then clicked on the AI Assistant button on the top right and asked the question, hit Agree to the user guidelines, and then a pop up window opened, loaded for a few seconds, and then says "We couldn't complete your request. Something went wrong. Please try again." with buttons for Cancel or Try Again. I tried a few times and it didn
I was working normally with digital signatures and there was no file size increase stayed at max 300kb, but then suddenly when I did another document the size of the file jumped to 3,4MB without me changing anything at all. And it was the same file that I was using on several other cases. I need to solve this promptly as I have deadlines for documents.....don't want to curse here but I would ****over adobe!!!
Old-Papa

Hi, I'm trying to edit pdfs using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I want to cloud revisions and create text boxes with leaders to point out changes. Is this possible in my version of Adobe? Is there another version of Adobe that I need to complete these tasks? Be well out there! Bryan
I have a lot of checkboxes, I want to add on focus script to all the checkboxes, is there a way to automate this?
Hello, I would like to inquire for help. I have built a fillable form in Adobe Acrobat Pro and am trying to calculate the total days left to complete a project. In simplest notation, the formula would read ((ProjectEndDate1)-(TodaysDate))=(DaysLeft1). This would be done similarly across 10 different projects which share the same form, so the indicator number would change per project, (i.e., 1, 2, 3,....10.). Other Info: Both fields, (ProjectEndDate1) and (TodaysDate) and standard drop down date fields, where as (DaysLeft1) is a text box formatted as a number, is this correct? I am unfamiliar with Java Script and its Syntax; would you be able to write a formula for me that would calculate this? Is JavaScript needed or can this formula be calculated in a simpler way?
I'm working on a fillable form in Adobe and need assistance with a dynamic text box. The text box should populate based on a dropdown selection, with a specific criteria that varies depending on a secondary dropdown selection. I'm having trouble developing the script to achieve this functionality and would appreciate any guidance or support.
This is obviously a problem that Adobe does not really care about resolving. Wil Adobe ever fix the issue instead of just upping their prices and leaving the users to hang out to dry. You can find 100's of posts about this dating back 10+ yearsEverything from:reinstall uninstall and reinstall uninstall, run CCcleaner, run adobe clean up tool disable " enable protected mode at startup "turn off new adobeuninstall, run CCcleaner, run adobe clean up tool, run creative cloud cleaneruninstall and delte all instances of adobe proiducts. Hi all; I've been struggling trying to add an If/then statement, based on the value selected on a drop-down; list within the form. I have created the Java-script for this, and it seems that this (script) is correct; however, it doesn't display the required info. I really appreciate if someone can give me a hint or a definite solution.... Thanks much! Jackie. Here's part of the code I used: var INICIO = this.getField("INICIO").valueAsString; if (INICIO=="LUNES-16-DICIEMBRE-2024") FIN = "MARTES-31-DICIEMBRE-2024"; else if (INICIO=="MIERCOLES-1-ENERO-2025") FIN = "MIERCOLES-15-ENERO-2025"; else if (INICIO=="JUEVES-16-ENERO-2025") FIN = "VIERNES-31-ENERO-2025"; else if (INICIO=="SABADO-1-FEBRERO-2025") FIN = "SABADO-15-FEBRERO-2025"; else if (INICIO=="DOMINGO-16-FEBRERO-2025") FIN = "SABADO-15-FEBRERO-2025"; else if (INICIO=="SABADO-1-MARZO-2025") FIN = "SABADO-15-MARZO-2025"; else if (INICIO=="DOMINGO-16-MARZO-2025") FIN = "LUNES-31-MARZO-2025"; else if (INICIO=="MARTES-1-ABRIL-2025") FIN

Hi, I'm looking for suggestions on how to do the following as an automated process: Auto split a multi page pdf into individual pages Use OCR to find a reference number in a specific area of the single document Save the individual documents with a file name matching that reference number combined with today's date If possible create a CSV file listing the references numbers scanned and save this to the same folder Basically I'm looking to make a very time consuming manual process a little bit easier to manage. Thanks in advance for any suggestions
