I have a 5 page medical form for a doctor's office.  I added a lot of automation, but now, after you enter data into a field, it takes 2-3 seconds for it to jump to the next field.  Painful.Can I send anyone the form to look at?Thank you in advance.

Is there a way in Acrobat Pro to add alt text to images in a PDF? The only alt text tool I can find appears to be for finding alt text that already exists. Acrobat Pro 2024.004.20272Mac OS Sonoma 14.6.1

I would like to request the restoration of the default page scrolling functionality in Adobe Acrobat. Currently, the scrolling behavior seems to have changed, and I am experiencing difficulty with smooth, continuous scrolling through PDF documents. The default page scrolling feature had  allowed me to scroll vertically through the document without interruption.

Hello, I'm thinking of purchasing an Adobe license, but I want to make sure it will work for what I need. I have a document that all our employees need to sign. However, some of these documents will require multiple external signers. Does Adobe Acrobat support this sort of function? I'd prefer to upload a .csv as we have hundreds of employees.  Thank you for any help!Shawn

Getting extremely frustrated after watching tutorials, scanning the communities, and redoing my form. I have created a fillable form and constantly hitting obstacles. I have functions such as calculated fields that won't work if I convert to webform or send for e-sign. However, if I leave it as a fillable form the system keeps throwing up an error that keeps it from saving submissions to Google Drive Folder. It's a nightmare. Why don't all the functions work on webform and e-sign? How do I troubleshoot this.  Feeling very discouraged because I spent a lot of time creating the form and now I can't use it.

Hi all, Does anyone know how to change the participant authentication to be set as 'None'? Right now, it needs a hardcoded email for the additional participants. I try to find many tutorials and somehow their UI has the option to choose what method of authentication for the participants. I want to add an additional participants without requiring authentication.  Can someone help me on this? Thanks in advance  

Hey Guys, I am (everyone in my company) having an issue where if I open a pdf and immeditly go to File/ Save As it will pull up my "normal Windows" File explore and I will have to navigate all the way to the last file I used.  But if I open the PDF and wait a few seconds a blue circle will start swirling and then if I click on File/Save As I get the Adobe saving window that has "Save in most recent folder".  Why is there such a delay?  Is Adobe having to sign in every time we open a PDF or something?  This is really not efficent when you are trying to save a bunch of PDF's down.  Is there a way to fix this?  I am running Adobe Acrobat Pro Continuous Release Version 2024.005.20320  Thank you in advance for any help you can provide!

Hi, Problems to open multiple pfd files, first two opens normally but after that it takea about 15-20 seconds.After it opens well, but after few files it happens again.Security option has been taken off and restored old version.Any help?

Customer support said I should post on here but I'm not looking for technical support and it's not a question for the wider community. Hello,A client of mine owns an old Adobe Pro 8.1 volume license. This is distributed via SCCM (installation and key). For a few users, Adobe Pro works without any issues. However, for almost all users, Adobe crashes about 2 seconds after starting (its not responding and tells me to reinstall after a while). I would appreciate any possible assistance. Potential complications with Adobe Reader, etc., have been ruled out. The Adobe compatibility mode has also been changed and launched without success. Adobe support is not helpful since the product is too old, and I cannot submit a request for assistance. All the Windows systems are the same and run on Windows 10 22H2.Thank you. Alex 

I have a document from a client that they made in Canva, and no matter how I try to export it, when I run it through the PAC checker I get a bunch of character and font issues. Font embedding, mapped to unicode, character encoding, all the errors. I've tried all the preflight fixes, but nothing works. When I try to autotag it, all the spaces in the document turn into "A"s. The fonts used in the Canva document are ones I have downloaded in Acrobat, so I don't know what the issue is. I'm not really sure how or if I can make this document accessible. I also have access to the Canva link. Has anyone else had this experience or do they know how to fix it?

Hello! We create Mac installation pacakges from the Adobe Admin Console. The Acrobat Pro install 24.1 comes up with a incompatible legacy installer error when we try to install in Sequoia. On intel and apple chip. Any ideas on what we need to do here to get it installed without having to use the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app? Because from the ACC app it installs for what ever reason. Thanks!

Hi. recently i cant't drag tabs in the app. if i drag tabs out of the window the whole window got shut down

I have a Acrobat form which my general clinics use.  For standardized results there are several dropdown menus.  Once the clinic submits the form to me I will Save as Other>Optimized PDF prior to sending it on to a specialty clinic.  This is so the specialty clinics cannot make changes to the form.  When I optimize/flatten the form the drop down menu arrows still appear.  They don't need to be there when the drop down function is no longer functional.  Is there a way to prevent them from printing to file?

I have a large document set - all items are scanned sheets that are already competently OCRed by scanner software. I wish to do 3 things: Concatenate files into "chapters"Add a header and page numbersAggressively compress the background image to reduce file size Whenever I go into Edit mode (to add headers), Acrobat insists on redoing the OCR. And it is doing a poor job (and wasting my time), compared to the original scanner software. How can I DISABLE this REDUNDANT and INFERIOR OCR compulsion that Acrobat seems to have? I have already disabled all the "make scannable" options wherever I have found them. Help me, Obi-Wan, you're my only hope...

Hi there!I'm currently trying to view an artwork PDF file (generated from Illustrator 2025) which has multiple layers (like Spot UV etc) and I can't seem to view/toggle them on/off like normal. I can view the actual "layers" panel but it doesn't display the list of separate layers with the "eye" icon contained in the document.  I've even tried to disable the new Acrobat which downgrades it to the original Adobe Acrobat interface but still doesn't display the layers properly. I'm wondering if anyone has come across this issue since the latest Adobe Acrobat update (Nov 2024) and if there is a setting I need to change in order for it to work again?  TIA 🙂

How to make Acrobat Pro Remember View Settings??I find it so annoying that the two settings you use all the time are hidden in a sub-menu. And it defaults to the wrong one.  1: How can I make Acrobat Pro have "Select" selected every time I open a document? 2: How can I STOP it opening the sidebars - the screen-wasting "All Tools" and etc?   

hello all,my question is: My business partner created a form i.e. invoice, proposal, etc. to use as a template.when he emails me the form and I download it and save in my template file. then when i go to create an invoice the blue shaded boxes that are fillable are not there? but were there when i downloaded it ? Thanks for any helpScott

Hi Forum,  I created a form wherein, it should be filled out by the sender and being sent out for e-signature.  I noticed that when I clicked teh Request e-signatures > adding an email  > clicking prepare document.There have been issues with the form. Here are a couple of problems that I encountered: Date field - it's being reset and cannot input value  Field borders - the borders of the fields was changed to none The alignment of text - even though it should be centered, its being transformed into left. We did some investigation and the cause of the issue is Adobe Acrobat reader being set to Enabled New Acrobat. Whenever we changed it back to disabled, the problems seems to be fixed, effective however this should not be the solution.  Requesting help if some already encountered this and what setting should be changed. Note: The Adobe Acrobat Pro version we are using is 2024.002.20759   

Hello, When I try to autotag a PDF, random brackets are added around the equations making the document unusable. I have attached a tagged and untagged version of the document. You can see the random brakcets on pages 9-17. How can I fix this?  

Hi,I applied for the NPO pricing plan for Acrobat Pro at the $15/year rate and was approved, but I’m having trouble activating it. I suspect this may be because I currently have an Adobe Creative Cloud plan that already includes an Acrobat Pro license.I have a couple of questions:If the issue is due to the existing Creative Cloud plan, what steps should I take to successfully activate the new Acrobat Pro license?Can I use another email address that doesn’t currently have an Acrobat Pro license to activate the plan?Will Adobe recognize our organization’s domain and prevent any email addresses ending with our org’s name from activating the plan?I’d appreciate your guidance on this!
