Hi everyone, I updated robohelp from 2022.2.22 to 2025.5. With the old robohelp I created a custom template. I noticed that it does not recognize my output template correctly. Good morning- To begin, I'm a RoboHelp novice 🙂 I created a new project in RoboHelp 2020 and imported some HTML topics from a different project. Those original HTML topics had some drop down text in them (a drop down 'title' with a paragraph beneath the title). When I generate my HTML5 preset and view the output of my new project, the drop town titles appear clickable, but they do not expand the text below that is shown in the topic. When I generate the preset and view the output in the older/original project, the drop down works as expected. I can't seem to figure out what's different between the two preventing the newer project from functioning as the original.

good morning,I have to update robohelp 2022.2.22..in robohelp 2022.5.0.(I have a subscription) but I can't. The blocking error code is 131. I closed the pending TASKS from ACTIVITY MANAGEMENT but it still doesn't work. What can I do? thanks daniela

I have two questions:Is it possible to add "content tabs" in RH? Something similar to the PyMarkdown "Tabbed" function?For code blocks added/embedded into a page, is it possible to a "Copy" function (i.e., a button that is revealed in the code block, or next to, that allows the user to copy the contents of the code block)?

Hello All,We are using RH 2022 and implementing Accessibility in the help output. One of the requirement is that we have used the image thumbnail feature in the output. When we click the smaller verison of the image, the image is opened in a window. We can close the window by clicking the Close icon. Our requirement is that the Window should also be close if we press any keys from the Keyboard. In the RH, there are not such configuration settings available.  Please help to acheive this goal.Thanks in advance.

I am generating Frameless Output with RoboHep 2022.  I was wondering if there is a way to allow users to specify if they want to use case-sensitive searching (Match Case)?  I looked at all options in RoboHelp and could not find a way to enable this option.  

I'm trying to create a PDF document of a project in RH2022 that is supposed to have a cover page and table of contents. We have a couple of queries regarding accessibility features:Navigation Landmarks:Is it possible to define ARIA landmarks such as:Marking the TOC (left panel) as a section landmark?Marking the main content/topic area as a main landmark?Can these landmarks be implemented or customized within RoboHelp 2020, either through the UI or by editing layout files?Thumbnail Image Accessibility:We are using the thumbnail image feature for all images in our topics.Currently, images can be opened with the keyboard (Enter key) but cannot be closed using the keyboard.Are there any built-in settings or best practices that allow us to:Shift keyboard focus to the image pop-up for accessibility?Provide an option to open the image in a new tab instead?We would appreciate any guidance or recommendations regarding these concerns. Hi,I am running into an issue after generating the help.The social media icons generated via the output -> Template -> Layout -> Sharing options don't align with their exact options. For example, the bird icon doesn't go with X but is associated with the YouTube and Facebook icons with X.  Can someone please reply to this post? Thanks,Anand   

Back on 11/25/2019 I had a post concerning the issue I was having with Drop-down Text not displaying correctly when a converted a 2019 RoboHelp Classic project to RoboHelp 2019 (attached screenshot of title of 2019 post). Curious if this issue has been resolved in new releases. I've been trying to read through version releases to see, but thought this would be faster. I was also having an issue with once I converted a Classic project and then tried to the Microsoft HTML Help output it would get stuck 'indexing'. I found my solution in this Community and once I deleted the previous TOC from the Classic project and created a new one my output to Microsfot HTML Help created. I have hundreds of Drop-down Text in my Help file (.chm) to hide definitions. I may abandon my use of Drop-down Text or if issue has been resolved, maybe I will push our IT department to get the latest verison of RoboHelp. I hope I'm making sense. It's Monday morning here. Appreciate any thoughts! 

How do you change the sidebar settings for mobile devices in the HMTL5 template layout?Desktop TOC. Notice the grey background, function bar background, and selected text colors.: Phone TOC. Notice the white background and the grey selected text background.:Desktop Glossary.Mobile Glossary. Notice the text is so light, it's unreadable. I want the mobile devices to match the desktop. The Layout settings dialog box seems to only apply to the desktop view and the mobile views don't seem to use the same settings. I've looked at the layout.css and can see references to some of the settings, but am not clear on what to change.Thanks.

I'll try to describe this the best I can. I am using RH 2022.5.28.  When I click on topics in the TOC, some of them are jumping to the middle or the bottom of the page as if there is an achor tag or bookmark in the middle of the page. When I examine the code I see no reason for this to be happening. Has this happened to anyone else or know what could be causing this?

Hi,I keep facing this issue.However, I have removed the microcontent folder and its associated content, which appears as a link in the RoboHelp help file. The microcontent folder still appears in the output preset folder even after I remove it from the Robohelp 2022 authoring section. Please suggest a solution. Thanks,Anand  

Is there a way to do mass indents in robohelp?I have a lot of content thats left justafied. I'd like to add spaces or tab. Asking if theres a way other than going to every sentence on every page and doing it manually

My developer cannot get context-sensitive help (CSH) to work, and he is asking me for advice. I have no clue. For RH 2022.5.28, is there documentation for developers on how to implement CSH? While RH 2015 has this type of documentation, as far as I can tell, RH 2022 does not. I’ve shared the RH 2015 documentation, and I’ve shared the latest RoboHelp_CSH.js file, but he has not been able to make it work.Here’s an update:I upgraded a help system from RH 2015 to RH 2022CSH works fine in the 2015 version of the help, but not the 2022 versionI did not touch the map files, but they appear to be fine because I verified them via URL: path/index.htm?rhmapno=123Although the developer has shown me what he has tried so far, I don’t know enough about his work to understand what he has shown meDoes anyone have any advice? I realize that you all are writers and not developers, so I completely understand if you nothing to share.

I wanted to post on a thread that I started last year but it says the discussion is locked and the reply options are all greyed out.  In a nutshell, my problem was that when I tried to publish my manual the process would get stuck on Indexing References. The manual itself would still fully publish but the search function would not be working.  I was baffled in that I would be able to identify an offending topic but when I deleted that topic and what I thought was the asset folder, the previous versions of the manual would then be corrupt. I have since discovered the issue. Unless I would create a new asset folder for the new topic, Robohelp would place any copy-and-pasted or even imported graphics inside the general assets folder, but not inside the topic's individual asset folder, if that makes sense. It seemed that anytime there was a graphic outside of a topics asset folder, even if it was still inside the project's asset folder, it would get stuck on Indexing Re

I have a project in RoboHelp 2022. I have imported about 5 word documents in the project. I use the Microsoft HTML Help output preset.  When I create the CHM file I notice that some topics are missing from the CHM file. * The topics are referenced from the toc but with a '?'-prefix in the link. * When I click one of the ? links, information is shown in the reading pane that the HTML file is  missing.* The missing HTML files are not really missing, they are located in the correct folders* However, it the title tag in a "missing" HTML file a "LTR" (u200E) unicode character has been introduced.After some debugging, it turned out that it was manual page breaks that was the culprit. Page breaks had been inserted before some Heading 2 to make the document look good when PDF versions are created. The "HTML topic" following the page break is the one not appearing in the CHM fileSo what to do? I remove the page breaks and the CHM is created correctly and all topics are inclu

RH 2020.8.34 I'm customizing the Studio Frameless skin. I worked with the Left Panel options and thought I added Index and Glossary in the tab section. As seen in the attached images, the Index and Glossary buttons do not display after generating. Hopefully it's an easy fix I overlooked. Thanks!

We use mainly RH2017 under the subscription licensing to manage hundreds of legacy RH projects. Our RH 2017 and 2019 Classic are now asking for a serial number while the Reimagined 2019+ are still working fine. Did Adobe remove the old RH from the subscription licensing? If so, what is everyone doing to be able to use the old version if they were on the subscription?
