Has anyone else come across this issue? I am using Robohelp 2019 and I have a topic page that is not being saved into the output folders when I publish. The page is present in the source files contents folder, it is present when I'm editing in Robohelp, but when I publish the manual the htm file isn't present in the output folder and I get an error on the page saying it can't load. I tried to copy the htm file from the source folder to the output folder, when I do that the page loads but not all of the graphics or other elements in the page, all of which are present when I'm editing in Robohelp. I also tried deleting the page then importing it from a previous version of the manual but I get the same issue. Any guesses what's going on?
I am having issues with publishing my RoboHelp project to my FTP server. The publish profile was set up and functioning correctly the last time I attempted to use it ( roughly 1 month ago ), but I am now unable to publish my project to the desired location. The following error message is displayed when I attempt to publish my generated RoboHelp project to my FTP server:My team has confirmed that no changes have been made to the FTP server. These settings that were configured for my publish profile are the exact same as the settings I was using when this feature was functioning as expected.I am using the latest version of RoboHelp 2020I have searched within the RoboHelp community forms and the also in the user guide and cannot find an answer or solution to my bugThank you in advance for any help.
I have a number of RH projects that I generate the outputs for from a batch file.Since migrating to RH2020 I've started using linked files, but this is of no use if I can't synchronise linked files from the command line when generating the outputs. Is this possible, or is synchronising a manual action? TIAMick Mathers
Hi all,I am using RH2020 Update 5 and trying to fix some of my code in the source code. For this, I wanted to use a regular expression. The expression itself seems to be correct (at least, I get the desired results when using it in Notepad++), but the search in RH only keeps on running without returning any results. I tried it with the complete project and also only with one topic open. Do I have to create the RegEx somehow different? Is anyone else having issues here? This is my RegEx:(?!.*vertical-align).*span style*What I am trying to achieve with this is to find all <span style tags except those containing vertical-align (because these are my variables).I have the following settings in the search:Thanks and best regardsKarin
I'm trying to work out what order the search results display on a Frameless Output in Robohelp 2020. I've searched the documentation but can't find the answer. Can anyone help please?
I have been unsuccessful in producing the TOC in my RoboHelp 2020 outputs - regardless of the settings I choose. Also, my RoboHelp has the latest update 5. Obviously I am doing something quite wrong! Any insights would be greatly appreciated!!
Hi everyone,I'm recently updated my RoboHelp to version 2020.4.173 and I'm experiencing a really frustrating behaviour from it. I had set up a Sharepoint site for versioning and co-authoring and everything was working just fine. With the new update, RoboHelp is continously asking for authenthication in order to check in and check out files. I flag the "stay connected" checkbox but it seems to ignore it. As you know, working on documentation occasionally means having one single topic open for a long time and sometimes you apply a number of small revisions when you review other topics. So RoboHelp is really annoying, since it keeps asking for authentication and I need to enter codes for the two steps auth process and so forth... Is there a way to get fewer authentication requests?Thank you all 🙂
I'm using Adobe Robohelp 2020 (with update 5). My current project uses a Frameless skin and I recently added a microcontent group to the source. The microcontent file is hidden in search. I also added the file to the TOC and marked it to be hidden in the output. However, in the output, the search isn't showing me the answer box style results when I search for terms/phrases that I included in the microcontent file as intents. The search results show up as the regular ones. Note that I've used microcontent in a previous project and it worked perfectly. The current project uses the same skin and I've set things up the exact way but I can't get it to work here. Is there anything I'm missing? Any setting?
Using Robohelp 2020, we publish our helpfiles using a parent project which then holds all the child projects. Each child project represents a module in our software. We publish to a Frameless Output. The search facility isn't really adequate for our customers' needs. We'd like to allow customers to select which project/module to search within whilst also giving them the facility to search across them all (as they can at the moment). Does anyone know if this possible?
Hi,I have adobe robehelp 7 version. After genertae output, the table of contents, index, search etc are not dispalying in IE11, Chrome etc. How we can fix this issue?.Thanks & Regards,Dileep
Hello,I noticed one more issue. I have a frameless output. In the local outout when I am on some help topic and I click the logo in the header it correctly takes me to the Welcome page (page with tiles). When I move the output folder to the server and if I am on some help topic and I click the logo in the header nothing happens. How to control this. I always want the logo to take to the Welcome page(page with tiles)
Hello,In my frameless output, the tile images appear on local machine. However, when I move the folder to a web server they appear blank. Only the title appears. I tried re-referring the images to show but nothing worked.I have update 5. I turned off the setting Manage tiles from Toc and tried inserting the tiles under Layout > HOmepage. But no success. I also tried to turn on Manage tiles from Toc and added images from the images folder in the Toc but again no success. What is the correct way for Update 5 and 4 as well? By default, the images are taken from the skin I guess. Can we create a custom images folder and refer from there?
I'm using RoboHelp 2020.5.71 on Windows 10. In my index, I have unwanted keywords showing up, even though I have a condition tag applied that should exclude it. In the following picture, the highlighted index keyword and subkeyword should not display: The topic displayed is the correct one, but it should only show up under "Paging Gateway | Upgrade" in the Paging Gateway's index, not under "Administration Console | Upgrade On-premises Server," which is only applicable for Fusion's index. The topic is shared between Fusion and Paging Gateway, but both "Administration Console" and "Upgrade On-premises Server" have the Fusion condition tag applied to them in the index, which should exclude them from the Paging Gateway's output. That's not what's occurring however. It's showing up in both output's index.
I'm trying to publish some topics in RoboHelp 2020 to our Zendesk KB. I've watched the video explaining how to do this. I've set up my output and Zendesk profile. I've enabled API in ZenDesk. I've checked my UserID and password about 10 times Everytime I try and save the publish profile, I get a "Could not conntect to the site. Check your site credentials message". I know the credentials are correct. I'm an admin user in ZenDesk. When I look at the Output preset, I have the drop-downs for "Visible To" and "Managed By" but these obviously aren't populated because I can't connect. Any ideas what I might be missing. I've followed all the steps in the online help. Thanks
I'm attempting to map a FrameMaker Heading1 paragraph style to a RoboHelp (CSS) H1 tag.I want the end HTML to be something like:<h1> ... </h1>Instead I get:<p class="Heading1"> .... </p> Notes:- Using fully patched FrameMaker and RoboHelp 2020. - Separately I migrated the project and I do get the expected <h1> tag, but the migrated project doesn't retain the link to the source FrameMaker book, so it's not much use. (I've raised a bug with Adobe.)- Mapping appears to be correct (see screenshot)- default.dfs - is there a way of mapping the FrameMaker style to h1 using <htmltag> ? This isn't the only issue I have with FrameMaker link settings but if I can get this to work maybe the same method can be used with the rest. All help appreciated.
I'm using 2020.4 and recently noticed that my SharePoint Repository is a mess. I now have three projects inside a forth project folder that have my latest commits. I don't know how this happened and haven't been able to find what changed. Each project should point to /Site/RoboHelpProjects/Project. Instead, they point to /Site/RoboHelpProjects/ProjectA/Project. I've looked at each Project properties and the RoboHelp Connection file. What am I missing?

Hello All,In RoboHelp 2020, which files and folders can be added to ignores in subversion?TIAMick Mathers
I have a quirk that I cannot understand and, at the moment, I can't resolve. Most of the time I can edit topics in RH 2017 without any trouble but occassionally when I attempt to edit a topic, RoboHelp displays the container in Design view but it's totally devoid of any content: This time however it appears to be stuck in this mode. I can view the code if I switch to HTML view and I can preview the topic (Ctrl + W) without any trouble but the Design view will just not display the topic for editing. I've tried restarting RoboHelp, restarted my laptop and verified that I'm updated to the latest version of RH without any luck. If anyone has any thoughts on what I should try next please let me know ... this is very frustrating when it occurs as any author would know. Thanks!
I upgraded my RoboHelp Classic 2019 (Responsive HTML5 output) to RoboHelp 2020.Is the upgrade simply a copy of the Classic 2019 version of Help? I ask because I am not offered the Frameless output upon viewing my output presets in RoboHelp 2020.How can I switch the upgraded project to a real RoboHelp 2020 project, so I can use the Frameless output? Is it possible to change the skin to a RoboHelp 2020 skin? Also, all my bullets converted to diamonds. Where can I find/replace those diamonds back to the original black circles? As an experiment, in RoboHelp 2020, I selected the text and clicked the bulleted list. It added the desired bullets but in front of the diamonds! Thanks for any answers you can provide!
I would like to coustomize the top section and tile images, but I cant find the correct image ratios. Also, I would like the image on the top section to be reactive and adjust to the size of the screen, not be locked into a certain apect ratio and be too small or too big most of the time Are the image sizes listed somewhere that I have been unabel to come across?Thank you
Hi,In my Frameless output generated by using RH2020, I have about 7 to 8 tiles. By default, all show up in a single line. Is it possible to control it by having 4 tiles display on line 1 and then a line break after which on line 2 the remainder tiles? So if I have only 6 tiles, I may want 3 tiles on line 1 and 3 after a line break on the next line. Is that doable?
Hi,In my Frameless output generated by using RH 2020, the Breadcrumbs are enabled and they work perfect.I noticed that it displays the html file name in the breadcrumb and not the topic title. For example, if the file name is About ABC.html and topic title is Overview of ABC, the breadcrumb displays:chapter 1 > About ABCI want it to displaychapter 1 > Overview of ABCHow can we change this to display the topic title?
My team has been trying to use RH2020 with Git and we are seeing limited success.I (using RH 2020.2.29) am able to create a new project, commit and push it through RH > Collaborate. Now, when my team members (mostly all using RH 2020.4.173) do a pull from their RH > Collaborate, the newly created project is pulled to their local machine. However, when they open this new project and navigate to RH > Collaborate, they do not see all these options. They only see the Add Projects option. And this too doesn't work for them. We've tried this previously and it continues to work fine for the one project that we had created on the repository a month back. But for this new project, my team is just not able to see the other options under "Collaborate".On the other hand, if someone from my team creates this new projects and pushes via RH > Collaborate, I do not face any such problem. I can successfully do a pull to get the project locally, make changes and then push it back to the reposi
