I updated xpj to rhpj. In the old xpj, Index was created without any problem, but in updated rhpj, most Indexes are displayed as having no link. The RH currently in use is 2020. It's a hassle to fix thousands of pages by hand, so if you know an easy relinking method, please let me know.

I am using RH2020, version 4, frameless output.  The breadcrumb trail is working, other than the landing/home page does not appear in the breadcrumb trail. I cannot find how to make the home page show up in the trail regardless of what page I am on or move to.

Using RoboHelp 2020.5.71Our CSS files contain the :root{} pseudo class to define our corporate color palette, and the rest of the CSS relies on these color variables, rather than the Hex codes. Everything looked great until I upgraded to Update 5. Now, none of the color variables are accessible in the generated HTML!(Oddly, the colors come through in the PDF. We use a different CSS for the PDF output, but the colors are defined exactly the same way.)Using the browser's inspector, I see that all the color variables are "undefined," even though the css shows them right at the top -- same as they were before the update.The only thing that changed was RoboHelp itself. Since applying the update, I haven't changed the web css. Hi,I am having a Responsive HTML5 output generated by using RH2017.I noticed a small issue with the search. When I use the search to search something I get the below message:If I re-search the same string I can see the output.   Any idea why this happens or tips to fix this?

I am new to RoboHelp. I am evaluating RoboHelp 2019 to generate micro content, as in field level help (tooltips and error messages).I am using the trial version as of now. I've followed the steps given in the online help of RoboHelp, but I am unable to figure out the flow of creating and generating microhelp.I am unable to view my output, only title appears in the output, I don't see the text which I have written.Could someone help me as to what I am missing here?A small video would help.

I have written some RH topics that have gotten kind of long and their structure can't be easily discerned by simply scrolling.   So I want to have some links that are in-page navigation.  Obviously this can be done manually.   Before I put in that work, Is there any RH 2020 facility to generate this automatically?   Basically it would be a pane that would generate in-page links to H2/H2/H3-tagged lines in the page.     Moderator: Version corrected. RH2021 doesn't exist yet. 🙂

How can I get the top naviation skin, or any other skin besides the defaults for that matter?

Hi everyone, I'm just looking at applying a Condition Tag to a bullet point - but get an issue where the point remains despite the tag being applied to the text (as below). Is there a way to apply a Condition tag to the bullet point as well?   

I recently upgraded from the RH2019 Classic Version and am now using RH2020. When the output is generated, it is opening the TOCs first topic and I would like to have it stay "closed". I'm wondering if there is a setting or something that I'm simply not seeing. I'm still trying to learn the different interface and features so anything is helpful, thank you. Below is how it appears on the outputs. Here is what I'd prefer 

Good Day, I have a client who is currently within an Old version of RH. I'm a big RH fan, however they don't have the skillset to maintain and update. They have begun the journey with Zoho Desk, thus they now how a Knowledge Base.  My topmost requirements: a) How to export the data from RH and maintain the STRUCTURE (the TOC)b) How to export and maintain the links (they have 3000 pages, all interwoven)c) We are ok with dropping the images, as most are probably dated. Since we will review/update the pages/content, we'll grab new photos, so don't need to carry over the images into Zoho Desk A few questions:a) Has anyone made this migration, RH to Zoho Desk (or similar CRM), any insights? b) Has anyone made this migration and messed it up badly (smile!) or would like to share their top do's and don'ts. We are interested. We are tinkering with the idea this week since we had the main RoboHelp folks all RESIGN - leave the project, so probably no better time to

I am learning the new Robohelp 2019 UI. I need to be able to find where I have used conditional tags in my content. In the classic Robohelp UI, you can go to Pods - Conditional Build Tags and right click on a tag, then click Properties to see where the tag is used. I do not see that option in the new 2019 UI. I right-click on the tag under Condition Tags and only see these options: Edit, Delete, and Select Multiple.It was very helpful to be able to see where the tag was used. Do I need to manually keep track of where I use it now? Thanks in advance.

HiI am using RH2020 (update 4) Frameless skin for my project.I would like to know how can I set the first row of the table as table header. I have created a style for the table but I couldn't find an option to set the first row as the table header. Can this be done in the Table styles or do I need to specify it in the HTML code. 

With the new RoboHelp update (2020.4.173), Adobe introduced support for Zoho Knowledge Base output and the ability to create publish profiles that would publish contents directly to Zoho KB. Unfortunately, despite many hours of testing and tinkering and back-and-forth communications with both Zoho and Adobe support, I was never able to make this work. During my many interactions with Zoho support, I was told something quite worrying by one of the second level analysts at Zoho Support (I'm paraphrasing here):"RoboHelp seems to have no place for you to enter your ClientID and Client Secret, which is required in addition to your Zoho credentials before RH can make any API calls to Zoho KB. I don't see how this integration to Zoho KB could work if you can't enter these anywhere in RoboHelp." I guess  the first thing I should ask is whether anyone managed to get this integration working despite what the Zoho Support analyst told me? Detailed steps to reproduce the issue:

Hi, Everyone. In RH 2020.4.173, I'm trying to set the color of the main TOC to black and only black. I've changed the font color in the skin editor. But the TOC behavior remains unchanged -- it starts out all black. But when I click on some topics, the whole TOC changes to purple (with the selected topic blue). Clicking some topics changes it all back to black. But others, purple. Each topic that changes from purple to black will do so consistently. However, I cannot detect a pattern that explains why certain topics go purple while others go black.  Is there a setting where I can just disable the color change, globally? That's what I really want. User testing tells us the color changes are annoying and distracting. Our end user tries to understand what the color changes represent. But it becomes clear the color changes aren't systematic. Thank you!

When I open (view) my WebHelp project, the title is not correct. It is using an "old" title from a previous project that this one was created from. I changed the title on the Properties dialog box in the actual RoboHelp project, under Project Settings --> New Window --> Window Caption to the correct new text -- but this does not seem to affect the WebHelp browser tab title. (yes, I saved the project, regenerated web help, even tried shutting down RH then regenerating WebHelp again -- no effect). I did not see a tab title option in the various property choices offered during WebHelp generation. Where is it getting this tab title from, and how can I change it?

HELP! I have tried everything I can think of. Here is the issue: Project created, TOC is correct, I generate and all my topics are in the output. When I publish it adds all my TOC topics but does not include the topic and I can clearly see in my network folder (where publish files go)  that they are not there. It is skipping about 80 topics and they all seem to be at the end of my publish list. It almost feels like its running out of room for the information! I have re-published multiple times. Deleted output and network folder contents for fear of ghost files. I have no idea where to look next to solve this issue. Error message is correct because the file did not publish. What I can't figure out is why it generates but does not publish. Error Message is: 404 - File or directory not found.The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

I am working at PengVin Affärssystem AB (Sweden)We have recently upgrade from robohelp 2017 to robohelp 2020We build the project as WebHelp / Responsive HTML 5 I have found that the "searchengine" in 2019/2020 does not receive the expected number of hits.sometimes the difference is very large compared to the old. For en example:Searching for the word "Ordererkännande" (=order acknowledgement)you got 29 hits in the old buildURL for test:https://webhelp.prod.pengvin.se/webhelp2020/PengVinHelp.htm#Order/Orderregistrering_Q.htm In the build from robohelp 2019/2020 you got none result .PengVinHelp (listen2music.se)The content in both cases is the sameIf you search for the word "Fakturor" (=Invoices) you got even worse differences94 hits in the old build and only 4 in the new buildIf you search for the word "Faktura" (=Invoice) you got 118 hits in the old build and only 149 in the new buildand so on... In robohelp output we have these settings for search 

Background: I'm having issues outputting to Zendesk using the Knowledge Base output preset. As a test, I want to try using the Content Only output preset. The actual issue: I have my publish profile set up correctly. When on the Publish page of the Content Only output preset, there are no publish profiles from which to choose.  I can generate but when I try to publish, I receive (as expected) an error that there is no selected publish profile and would I like to select one. I choose yes but then nothing happens. I feel like I'm missing something?

Hi,Dear Team, I'm using Robohelp 2020, I need to generate a CHM Output with UTF-8 with BOM, I couldnt see any encoding dropdown in Microsoft HTML Help > Output Presets.  Is any other way to get the CHM with UTF-8 with BOM Could you please help me resolving this issue? Thanks and regards,Saravanan M
