Hello,I made a copy of my RoboHelp project because I have to do another project that is similar. I placed the files in a new folder. I renamed my new folder and ".rhpj" file. My question is how do I get RoboHelp to change the project name at the top of the screen. See the red arrow in the attached photo.    ThanksLisa 

We need more than four Menu Item Levels for our online help. We have now also created a fifth level, but the problem is that we cannot format it.Is there a way to have more than four menu item levels and format them?The fifth level is then inserted and displayed flush left in the menu again, see screenshots. 

Hello, I'm using RH 2019.0.12 version.When I try to update RH  with the version 2019.0.14, the Robohelp Updater crashes (screenshot). Does anyone have a solution?Thanks.

When I select Help > Update, I get this oxymoronic message: "Specified product is not installed on this machine". Does anyone have a solution?

I am using RoboHelp 2019 Update 5.I upgraded a RoboHelp 2015 Classic project into RoboHelp 2019 (not classic)1. I have a customized style (Steps) that numbers items (much like <ol>).2. I am using it in drop-down text.When I open the second, third, fourth, etc. drop-downs, the numbering continues rather than restarting at 1.Let's say I have 4 drop-down text paragraphs of 4 steps each. Rather than four steps numbered 1 -4 for each drop-down, I get four drop-downs with steps numbered 1 - 16. Oh, BTW it's dynamic. If I open drop-downs 1 and 4, I get two paragraphs of steps numbers 1 - 8. Also, if I interrupt the steps:1. The numbering restarts at 1 (as in this example).2. Rather than continuing with 3.The "Start From" property of the style is 1. I think that is the issue. In 2015 Classic I could right-click on the offending renumbering, select List Style..., activate "Restart Numbering At:, enter the restart number, click OK and be happy.Is there such a work around in RoboHelp 2019?

Hi, Everyone. I've just created a new topic. But even after rebooting RH 2020.4.173, the new topic does not appear in the Review Pane. It might be because I've created the new topic in an unsanctioned way. Here's what I did: Copied (ctrl + C) a topic in the TOC (yellow, Screenshot 1)Pasted it into the TOC; renamed it "Tuition Reimbursement" (green, Screenshot 2) SCREENSHOT 1: SCREENSHOT 2 That's probably not the proper way to create a new topic. My new "Tuition Reimbursement" topic does not appear in the Contents Pane. But I created it that way (copy-and-paste) for efficiency -- the layout and formatting is copied from the original.  Any advice for me?  Thank you!   

Hi all,I have completed my first RoboHelp project and saved it as a chm file. After I generated a chm file and viewed the output successfully, I sent it to our developer to add to our website. He can view the table of contents in the left frame, but is unable to view any of the content in the right frame.I'm not sure if I am not saving it correctly or have the settings right.Has anyone had this issue and can guide me to a solution?Thank you    

Is it possible to stop the TOC to scroll when we scroll on topic?I am using the Orange skin for Frameless output.Can this be achieved by changing any of the paramaeters on the RH2020 UI or do we need to make any change in the CSS?

What is the difference between leaving a topic out of the Table of Contents entirely, and including it there but clicking "Hide in Output" on that page?

I need to link a bookmark created in one topic to certain terms in another topic. To clarify my point, here is a use case:1. Create two topics: Topic 1 and Topic 2 2. Add a Head2 to Topic 1 and insert a bookmark next to the Head2. 3. Now, create a Head 2 in Topic 2 and add some content to it. Try linking certain terms in the content to the bookmark in Topic 1.I tried using Insert Links> Cross-Reference> Add bookmark. The problem is that the term to which the bookmark should be linked is being replaced by the bookmark term( headin) itself. How do I link the term to that heading in a way the term is not replaced?

Hi, Everyone. I'm having trouble with a MS Word output preset. Before creating the output preset, I create a new TOC that contains only one topic. (Screenshot 1.) SCREENSHOT 1 Then I create the MS Word output preset and point it to that new TOC. (Screenshot 2.) SCREENSHOT 2 However, when I generate the output, it contains ALL of my topics. (It should only contain the one topic  that's in the TOC, "28. Privacy") I'd appreciate any ideas for troubleshooting this. Thank you!

Hi all,   At my company we were using RoboHelp 2019 until just recently. Now that we are using RoboHelp 2020, we are trying to output HTML files, but are getting a message stating that the generation failed, with not details other than that. I am concernced that the move to RoboHelp 2020 has done something to the original project file.   Has anyone had any experience whree RoboHelp 2020 fails to generate output files/HTML, and have you figured out a way to make it work?   Thanks in advance  

Hello, How can I change the sie of an embedded pdf document into a .chm output file ?I used the iframe to embed my PDF document and I set width and height to 100% (instead of a absolute pixel  numbers) so the PDF fits the complete display window. When I generate my .chm file, the width is 100% (OK)  but the height is only 2-3 cm. Thanks for your advices. Nicolas

Hello, I'm trying to change the default size of the .chm file generated with Robohelp 2020. The .chm file window size is quite small and needs to be resized everytime I open it. I'm very new in using Robohelp (I was using the MS HTML Help Workshop until now and I decided to move to Robohelp).  Kind regards Nicolas

I want to add text to the search prompt in the frameless output to tell people to use quotes around text to help them search, as the standard search always brings back too many results.  Is there a way of doing this?  I'm using the latest release of Robohelp 2020.

I am a Korean user, and I found the language locale code for Korean is wrong and it is very annoying to me because I have to fix it by myself, not by Robohelp automation. The code assinged to Korean should be ko-KR, not ko-KP. ko-KR is assigned to Rep. of Korea(South Korea), ko-KP to Nort Korea. Dear Adobe, PLEASE, FIX THIS FOR KOREAN USERS! 😞

Hi,We have a file setup consisting of multiple sub-folders of Word documents left from when we were using RoboHelp Classic. Now, when I try to import as a Word document, it will only allow me to select one file at a time for import. If I import them as files, I can select multiple but it doesn't recognise them as readable or editable files once they're in RoboHelp.Is this part of the new release, or am I simply doing the process wrong? All the older guides to importing Word documents simply say to select multiple files, which I can't do. Any help is appreciated, we have a couple of hundred Word docs to import. 

Hi all,We're redesigning our Web Help (long overdue) and we'd like to provide dynamic filtering, because this help is vast and covers a wide variety of topics.The filtering works great with one possible show-stopper: if you set a filter, and a link in a topic is to another topic that falls outside the filter, the link takes you to a blank page. I assume the blank page is configurable, but we'd like to figure out how to let them jump to content in the same project that might be related to what they're reading but doesn't quite fall into the selected filter.For example, a topic could be part of the Getting Started filter, Daily Operations filter, and Administration filter. The links in there could take them quickly to content that's not in the selected filter.  Does that make sense?The only thing I can think to do is replace all the relative paths in each project with absolute URLs, but that would be a nightmare.Can anyone think of a workaround?Thanks!

I upgraded to RoboHelp 2019 Classic last year and now want to use the new Robohelp 2019 UI.  I don't see an option under File to upgrade to rhpj.  How can I "upgrade" from Classic (xpj) to new .rhpj?

Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to avoid our users having to constantly clear their cashe to access updated topics. The updated topics do not automatically refresh and we are constantly telling users to clear their cashe. Is there a fix for this in the output?

I want to share the review.I tried uing Invite Only Add people. After entering the email and clicking on Invite I get the error as "You must {link} in order to send invitations."When I try to change it to Public I get the error "There was an error adding public access." What is it I am missing? I have Creative cloud installed on my machine and I can see cloud storage as well.
