Hi,I am currently using Adobe Robohelp version 2022.5.28.Can I download only content filtered by the Dynamic Content Filter in Robohelp? My RoboHelp has many topics, and the entire RoboHelp content in PDF format is about 300 pages long. So the ability to print only relevant topics defined by the Dynamic Content Filter would allow me to have smaller PDFs of about 30-40 pages. Thanks in advance for your research and advice.

Hi folks, I just recently set my RoboHelp Frameless Output to a new start page - but it is not working. My original start page is "index.htm". I changed it to "Welcome_to_PartsWatch.htm". This did not work. What did I do wrong? My "default topic" is also "Welcome_to_PartsWatch.htm"

Hi everyone, We have switched from RH2015 to RH2022.5.28 and are now looking forward to using RH as our only source for maintaining our content. We have been using both Word and Robohelp ever since... However, we have problems generating Word output from Robohelp. Exporting our RH content to Word creates a corrupt file that has to be recovered. The recovered file does not use our defined styles. Does anyone have any idea why the Word output is corrupt and what we can do about it?Additional questions:- Do the styles in Word and the styles in Robohelp need to be named the same in order the be mapped?- Is there a guide for creating templates (headers, footers, cover pages...) you would recommend?Thanks a lot in advance.

After upgrading a project from the RH 2015 Classic to RH 2022, facing the following issues: CSS mismatch Topic layout/Master page issues After generating output from the RH 2022, unable to get similar output layout (user interface) generated from the previous output.

AllI am a Sr technical writer and have used Robohelp before and  starting a new project and with Robohelp. The current technical writer I will work with selected it and is on different projects but same division she did not explain why she picked it I don't understand why she selected it because this is a manufacturing company and they do not have any associated software applications.The question i have is why? I love the tool but how is it as a stand alone and why generate on-line help? What are the pros and cons? Thanks

Is there a way to make the font size different between 2 topics that use the same snippet? I've noticed that typically you need to set the font size for the snippet, but I want to use the same snippet on two different topics, but want the font size to be different.

Hi folks, I have been requested by my company to put a "hamburger" style button to open the Table of Contents in the top-most landing page of my Help File. Is this possible? I am using RoboHelp 2020 and outputting in a Frameless output.

Hello,I am new to Robohelp, taking a project over from an ex-colleague. All seems to be going reasonably well, except I cannot seem to get the FM index into RH.   I have read messages indicating if the index.htm file does not show up in the RH content folder there is a problem, and I will agree with that statement - the index.htm does not show up in the content - but how do I get it there?   Any and all help appreciated.Barbara Dumas

Hello, I have a new company laptop (Dell Precision 5690 with Microsoft Windows 11 Enterprise) and I have been trying to install Robohelp 2022. It is part of my plan (Creative suite and technical suite) and it still works like a charm on my old computer. I have been able to install the Creative suite apps on ly new laptop without any issues.  But when I go to the 'others' tab (where I supposue the Robohelp could be) I get this error: I also tried to download the 2022.4.0 installer from the Robohelp downloads page (Download Adobe RoboHelp and RoboHelp Server). When I unzip and install as a normal user, the installation stops at 5% and gives me error code 127. If I run the installer as administator, I immediately get the message that the installer is corrupt. My IT support has been looking into the issue, but don't seem to find a solution...  Any ideas here what could be wrong? Thanks!  Machteld  

Hi,I recently upgraded from RH 2022.3 to Rh 2022.5. When I open a project in RH 2022.5 that was originally created with 2022.3 I receive a notification that the project will be migrated. I proceeded with the migration by accepting the dialog, and so far, everything seems fine - except for one issue:There should be new options available for the page properties of a PDF page layout templates (such as page size, orientation, layout, background, and footnote) but they are not showing up. Only the stylesheet option is availabe, just as it was in Update 3.Interestingly, when I create a complete new project all these options are available.Additionally, when I switch to the HTML view and simply copy the meta information from the new project (e.g. <meta name="page-style" content="size:A1 portrait;" />) to the migrated project, it works. So, this could serve as a work around. However, it would be great to have these options available in the UI of a migrated project as well.Does anyone

Im using Robohelp 2022.2.22. Sometimes when I have bullets in a topic they change to numbers in the pdf output. Is there a setting that may be forcing that? Also, font sizes sometimes don't stay consistent with the numbers and the content directly next to them in the output.

We currently have some pdf's that have bookmarks to external files using a url e.g. https://externalsource/PDF_files/file_abc.pdf. We are changing where these files are located and need to update all the bookmarks to be e.g. https://externalsource.com/PDF_files/file_abc.pdf. Is there way to do this in bulk per pdf file or even bulk over multiple files at a time? Once the update is done we would need to remove the javascript from within the PDF for security reasons...potentially. Open for suggestions on other ways to do this in bulk. Sorry if this is a silly question.  

Hello Team,  I am currently using RoboHelp 2022 and have RoboHelp's Orange skin as part of my Frameless template.  I am facing following issues, Unable to reduce white space between panes.  left and right tab resize is not being responsive Clicking Collapse icon on left is hiding text Even after collapsing output is not responsive Also, how can I protect from unauthorized access of my help pages?

Team,With Windows application (C#.net) browser implementation  the drop downs added in content are not working when java script (.csh) file in Templates folder is deleted.  

I have donwloaded trial veriso of RH2020. On generating an output it gives a warning message in logs " Skipped copying external file. I had inserted video with a link in two topcis. Can anyone suggest anysolution to solve this issue or a relvant reason? Thnaks 

I have seen discussions about this here but no solutions. I'm wondering if anyone can advise, other than to say contact Support, as that does not seem to garner a solution either. I have four seperate RH projects, all created by me on the same local drive on the same version of RH. For two of these projects, I am able to generate Word output without issue. I have several topics that do not appear when I try the Search tab for a CHM file.  It also occurs when I add a new topic.  What could be causing this and what file contains the Search information.

Hello. I would like to ask a question about versions in Robohelp. I am using robohelp in our company to write manuals. We have integrated SharePoint for versioning into the Robohelp. The idea is that when i generate final PDF or HTML5 doc i want to have there some variable which will show actual version of the document. Problem is that this version i have to get from sharepoint. I have python script for that, but i have no idea how to get obtained data to Robohelp. I tried to use Scripts but with no results. Any idea how to do it?  Thanks.
