Hi there, My design team has asked if I can utilize the menu button in the desktop version of the Indigo layout. Does anyone know how I can bring the menu button forward so that it is visible when a user views it on their monitor? I suspect I will need to be able to move the menu, and make it available for desktop. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or better yet, the solution to my problems. Note, I have been able to successfully do everything else so far! Thanks!Stephanie

Hello team, I am trying to modify the look of the overlays (Glossary, Favorites, etc;) in the Indigo layout, but cannot figure out where to compile the files to (or even how to compile the files). Can someone help? PS -HUGE thanks to this group. I have actively been following your posts, and suggestions, and have learned so much. Look what I have done so far! (now on to the topic pages).

We just upgraded from RoboHelp2015 to 2017. We opened our 2015 responsive HTML project in 2017. Is this all that needs to be done to "upgrade" the project? I was able to create the RHTML5 output, but the predictive search doesn't work. Is there a different way to "upgrade" the project other than opening the project file (after deleting the CPD file)? Is there a setting in RH that "turns on" the predictive search capability that we need to do? We are still using the Charcoal_Grey screen layout. I saw another team within our company that upgrade a similar project using the Charcoal Grey screen layout and their predictive search works in 2017 output.

Hi there,I've reviewed the online product details, done some google searches, looked in the forums and even tried  Adobe chat ('there is a waiting time of appx 44 mins...') and am *still* confused - so I'm hoping someone here is able to categorically answer this:Is AirHelp still an output format in RoboHelp 2019? As far as I can tell they stopped developing it after RoboHelp 9 but I don't know if this means it is no longer supported.I have a product I developed using RoboHelp 8 which does now not appear to be compatible with current MacOs customers and some Windows customers (they keeping getting told they need to be logged in as an adminstrator to run the program even when they have confirmed they are already logged in as admin).  I wanted to rebuild the product using the lates version of RoboHelp but am not sure if it's even supported.Thanks in advance for any help.

I use WinBatch scripts to automate the process of opening, generating, and closing RoboHelp Projects.  In RH2015, when I opened a project from source control, RH automatically opened a "Connection Details" window followed by a "Get Latest Version" (from source control) window before opening and displaying the project in the main RoboHelp window.  In RH 2019 Classic, when I open a project from source control, RH still automatically opens the "Connection Details" window but no longer opens the "Get Latest Version" window.  Did this change between RH 2015 and RH 2019 Classic? If yes, does the system no longer get the latest version of each file, or does it automatically get the latest version without asking?  If it did not change, am I missing a setup option that I need to change so that the "Get Latest Version" window displays by default when opening an RH Project using RH 2019 Classic?  Thanks!

I am using RH2019.0.2 with Responsive HTML5 outputs.I have unchecked the 'Include Index' option in the output settings but the index still displays in the generated output.Is there something else I need to set?

Using Rh 2019 (update 2), has anyone been able to set the padding for a placed YouTube video, either using the General Properties, or using the Code View?I can set properly on an image (shown in the image below), but not on the placed video-Matt

I am using RoboHelp 2015. This is the first time in more than 10 years that I have used any version of Robohelp, so I need short, simple answers.I'm trying to create Webhelp. Each HTML file in the project is specific to a particular module in the software. When you click the help button while module X is on screen, the help should open at the start of the file specific to that module.I'm trying to use map IDs. I have gone through the RoboHelp online help about doing so. I have created map ID and assigned them to the files. I have a .H file with all the IDS in it. I've given the map IDs to the developers and they have done I'm not sure what with them. I've repeatedly regenerated the Webhelp. It has been installed on the server. Any time a user clicks a help button anywhere on the product GUI, the help opens at the default title page of the Webhelp.The previous version of the help, which was created by a tech writer who has been gone for years, worked properly. I can't figure out how. It

I have images in my snippets and they work fine in the application and have the correct url.once I publish the responsive html 5 output, the path is changed to my C: drive and the link is broken, not sure if this broke with update 2 or was present before.

I've just upgraded to RH2017 and am trying out the Responsive HTML5 output for the first time.In all examples I've seen of the Azure and Charcoal layouts, the search bar displays in the title bar to the right of the heading, but not for me.It seems like this should be default but it's not there and I can't find any settings to show or hide it.I've tried it with a new project and one upgraded from RH10 and both act the same.I also can't find how to display the function bar with the print, next and previous buttons.Can anyone help?

Robohelp 2017, Responsive HTML5This worked for me earlier, in another project, so I'm sure it's a setting I've overlooked. I have a project in English, which contains a merged project in Spanish. I've tested 10 languages in the same setup (nine different languages as merged projects), and always had my search terms returned in the correct language. If a word was in multiple languages, topics for all languages displayed.I created a new project, and now I only get English topics when I do a search. If I copy/paste a Spanish word into Search, it comes back with "No Results Found." The only thing I can think of that I knowingly did differently was to use dynamic content filters in the output. But when I unchecked that box, Search still didn't work so I doubt that was it.I tested this in three separate layouts, including the layout that worked before, and none of them work. So it must be a setting. Can you please help me figure out where that setting is?

I exported a PDF to Word.  I am trying to copy and paste it into my dissertation, which is a Word document.  It doesn't copy and paste correctly.

One day, RH started closing every 1 minute. I have uninstalled and reinstalled RH, but it is still closing. Sometimes it does not stay open even 1 minute. If I make a change and save, it saves. I have recently upgraded to Visual Studios 2013 and installed the MSSCCI 2013 32 bit. RH was working ok and literally the next day it started closing. After the update, projects would not check-in properly in TFS and I have to manually go to VS and check-in each project. I am not sure if it is all connected or if it is separate issues. Projects and RH are on local drive. Any suggestions?

I've downloaded a trial version of Robohelp 2019.  I can't see a Review option, so can't see how I pdf to send files for review.  Is this in Robohelp 2019?

I was able to install RoboHelp 2017 and run it, but the application does not launch on subsequent attempts.  It dies silently in the Task Manager.If there is a log file for startup errors, I will be happy to look for it.

We have a Responsive HTML5 project. When we generate the output and check-in the files in the respository there are a lot of unknown files that are generated with the output for example here are a few:Responsive HTML5/whxdata/searchAuto_Model_11.js/Responsive HTML5/whxdata/searchAuto_Model_12.jsResponsive HTML5/whxdata/searchAuto_Model_13.js/Responsive HTML5/whxdata/searchAuto_Model_2.jsResponsive HTML5/whxdata/searchAuto_Model_3.jsResponsive HTML5/whxdata/package_55_xml.jsResponsive HTML5/whxdata/package_56_xml.jsResponsive HTML5/whxdata/package_57_xml.jsResponsive HTML5/whxdata/package_58_xml.jsResponsive HTML5/whxdata/package_59_xml.jsResponsive HTML5/whxdata/package_5_xml.jsResponsive HTML5/whxdata/package_60_xml.jsAny idea is this normal? What are these files and why do they get generated even when content changes are minimal.

This might be a deal breaker for the Indigo layout. The function buttons are in English, and there doesn't appear to be any way to replace the English text with translated text, or replace the function buttons with icons. Am I missing something? Is there any way to address this, or do I need to find another layout?

I have just opened my new install of RH2019 (New not Classic) on a Windows 10 machine and I can't get the Properties Panel to display. I select View>Properties Panel but nothing happens.I haven't installed any updates yet (as it takes forever to get them through my work support process) but this is so basic that I can't imagine it was a bug.Any ideas?

Hello,tried to update an existing RH Projekt to the new one. Without success. The existing css is empty in the converted version.It is not possible for me to switch the language of the program surface from German to English.Sorry but this seems to be an early beta version.Thank you for your helpThomas

Hello. We designed our online help using drop-down hotspots (this look is much cleaner to us). Problem is, when a user searches for something and clicks the Search results topic page  to find the information, the topic page displays, but does not expand the drop-down hotspot to show the exact location of the searched item. Is there a JavaScript or some other solution to get the DHTML hotspot to expand, showing the information? Thanks.

Our devs are asking if they can delete helpmap.ocx and HHActiveX.dll now that we're no longer using chm helps (We've switched to an HTML5 output). We've been installing those files with our product.Do we need these files with HTML5 output, or can we delete them from our install software?

Hi,RoboHelp Screen capture functionality earlier was taking file name automatically as " CapturedImg1..2...3". But, now I have to manually enter the file name. Please let me know what settings needs to be done and from where I can do this settings so that screen capture automatically takes the file name.
