Hi, I would like to have support or link to documentation that would help me to divide the output pages in different sections or frames, like: TOC and index on the left, in the center the content, and on the right another scrollable section including useful links, news, etc. In fact how to set up the different frames of a page? Thank you very much

Hi everyone, In Robohelp 2020, the Favorites and Add to Favorites buttons are only available in the HTML5 "Indigo" skin. I wonder if it's possible to "borrow" this functionality from the Indigo skin and implant it in a different skin? I guess there is some Javascript code behind the Favorites buttons but I don't see how to extract it.  Any ideas? Thanks!

 1. We have two help files.2. After upgrading from 2019 to 2022, the files got organized as shown below.3. Later I added one more folder "Setup" which is help file 2. (in the 2019 version too, this setup file was inside the help folder only.)4. Now, I am working on help.rhpj. I want o add a hyperlink to a topic that is in the "Setup" folder.5. Earlier in the 2019 version it was easy. I used the hyperlink option and gave the following and it was working fine. 6. Now in the 2022 version, I used "Local file" option and added the link, and linked it . While linking, it showed me the correct topic as well (attached is the screenshot).  The link is missing, every time when I click Edit hyperlink option to verify.  HTML is correctly showing the link  7. Please let me know if there is any solution. Let me know if my approch is incorrect. 

Greetings, Adobe RoboHelp version: 2020.4.173 We've recently moved from Adobe RoboHelp Classic 2019 to 2020. I'm still figuring out the new layout of the tool. I happened to generate a .chm and all is working fine except the "Search" function in the .chm. I key in any word and I don't get any results "No topics found". Could anyone please give me some pointers. Thanks!

The index page that is getting generated in my Word Preset does not have a space between the Page Name and page number.  Is there a was to fix this or customize the styling?  Using the book master page.

Our main issue is the numbering of ordered lists.Here is more or less the work process that we used trying to figure out how numbering and lists work in this tool.1. Imported Word document, a User Manual, which, of course, has thousands of lines of ordered lists, at Level 1 (decimal) and Level 2 (lower-case alpha).2. When we imported the file, we selected (checked) the option of converting lists to HTML lists; we thought that this would convert the Word numbers to the ol, list, /ol HTML syntax so the ordered lists would work in Robohelp.This did not work. The option "Convert to Autonumber" also did not work.3. We therefore proceeded to try to make new ordered list styles to manually replace the imported Styles. 4. Unfortunately, in our experience, the numbering functions of Robohelp simply do not work for us. We do not know what we are doing wrong. Here is what we are doing:a. Hello!I work with RH2020.I try to create a word output but after launching the generation, RH just create a loap and never end...I did these differents steps :1/ I create a HMT responsive output with a ToC online.2/ I duplicate my ToC and define it as a book ToC.3/ I create a masterpage in content menu and add it as firts page in the word output model ToC 4/ After launching, RH never ended and try to create the Wort output.... I must kill RH... I try to launch the generation without model and it works... So I think it's an issue with the definition of my masterpage for ToC but can't find.. Thank you

I cannot get the Word output preset to include a Master Page in version 2020.8.34.  Word templates are not used. I've tried creating new MPs and topics and even projects, still no luck.  The Responsive HTML5 output preset does generate the Master Page content.  Any ideas why?  Thanks!

When searching for a term in RH 2020 compiled as Responsive HTML5 some of the search term results are highlighted and some are not highlighted.For example, a user searched for the word "Service."The first result has the word "Service" in the heading and throughout the topic, however, "Service" is not highlighted.The second result also has the word "Service" in the heading and throughout the topic, and it is highlighted.

We are using a trial of robohelp and getting this error importing some word docs "Word cannot create the work file, check the temp environment variable"  

Hello, Is anyone having trouble performing a search within your  published work? We published with Robohelp 2020 last week and everything seemed fine. It was brought to our attention that when using the search option at the top of the page (see attached image) , the results do not show or take a long time to display. I've confirmed we are on the most up to date version of RH2020 and we are using Google Chrome. Is there anything else I should be looking into?

Hello! I have a big issue and can't fix it... I use a favicon for my HTML generation (png file). After generation, Robohelp change the regular name of the pgn. into a capitalized name... LGM-35.png become lgm-35.png... My favicon is lost and I can't display in my web tab.. Is it a bug? Or someone has an idea? Thank you   

Hi everyone.I know that for see also and related topics the text in the placeholder can be modified selecting it and writing the wanted text into Content propierties > Caption.I have to change that caption text each time I put a related topics placeholder in a topic and I would like to know If there is a way to change the defaut text of that placeholder so that I only have to change the caption only on special occasions. I don't know If it has to be done in any of the reltopics classes in the styler or there is another way. 

Using 2020.8.34. I've been publishing with a map file for years as HTML5 output. Example URL would be: www.abcde.com/index.htm?rhmapno=2However, we are now going frameless. Using the same content/project - I published as frameless, then clicked on the link (like sample above) and it automatically hides the TOC panel. Does anyone know why? Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Hello,I am just trying to figure out if this is how adobe does its templates/skins or if its just an issue with the template i tested.  Before I start - RH2022 mac, fresh new project, new content, new styles etc.  Nothing converted - all from scratch created within RH2022. In testing out the Blue Lagoon template, I am getting 404 errors where it is looking for the orange.css.map.  When I dug into the build, i found the welcome page and other things were really the orange template with the userstyles.css used to convert it to the blue lagoon look.  In developer view in my browser, i can turn off the userstyles file and the site essentially becomes the orange site.  I even found the orange template files and images inside the blue lagoon's directory.  These files are not even called in the blue lagoon template at all so they serve no function.  It looks like they just built over the template opposed to building blue lagoon as a new template.&n

Hi allI am working on a project that uses Studio Skin and that I generate output using Frameless Preset.I have set a button for downlad PDF, but I can't see it in the output result. I have not found any further information in the RH user manual, is there anything else to consider?Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone! I feel quite silly for asking this, but I'm having a hard time finding a setting in the skin customization UI for the search results for a frameless output.  I'm looking for the setting that can change these yellow higlighted search results in the selected topics. I've been looking for it, but for the life of me I can't seem to  find it. Am I looking in the right direction shown on the picture below? Thank you in advance!   

Hello,We are trying to setup machine translation for RoboHelp 2020 by using Google Translations API. We already have the API key, and we are sure it works fine since we tested it by opening the following URL in a browser:https://translation.googleapis.com/language/translate/v2?q=This%20is%20a%20test&source=en&target=it&key={OUR_API_KEY}Unfortunately, after pressing the "Validate" button in the RoboHelp dialog, it states that credentials are not valid ("Incorrect credentials."). Hi allI am working on a project that uses Studyo Skin and that I generate output using Frameless Preset.I have set it to display the breadcrumb and users find it very useful. But when I scroll down the page, it is no more visible. Is there any way to fix it in the header so that it will be always visible?Thanks in advance

Hi,I have a project in RoboHelp 2022, size about 120 MB - 90 topics. While generating a frameless output in a local computer it takes about 10 min.I would like to add much more content ito this project.  I would like to know what is the limit of the content that can be added to 1 project, that won't cause signicant performance issues?Thanks,Angelika   

Question 1 - How do I create a new bullet list and numbered list? Adding a New Style1. New Style 2. Tag - ol-13. Font details entered.4. Where is "bullets and numbering"? The second option - Duplicate Style 1. Duplicate ol2. Tag - ol-1. (question - what are Tag, Class, and Pseudo Class? Do I need to learn CSS?)3. ol-1 is created below "Other Styles". Again there is no option to select "bullets and numbering" and Preview is also displaying normal text instead of numbered list. Question 2-  I am not getting the below options when I try to create a new style or try to duplicate the existing style (ol or ul) Question 3 - How do I create a new stylesheet?   

I've been having trouble with RoboHelp PDF outputs for a while now.  I was running RH2019 and my CHM files are fine but the PDF I created using the same source content didn't display TOC or index and the paragraph styles were not honored.  The TOC is in Book format and has Front and Back material configured, so that wasn't the problem.  I was told to upgrade so I just installed RH2022 and the PDF now honors styles and displays the index but the TOC only shows chatper headings with no topics under them. Anybody else run into this?Thanks,Tracy West   

Is there a way to search for all topics not in a Table of Contents? One's I may have omitted in error.
