Hi I have added a hyperlink in one of the topics as<p>Click <a href="/Help/API" title="API Documentation">API Calls</a> for more details.</p>I added the above link via HTML.  But when I generate responsive html5 output: The link is shown as "file:///".Because of "file://, the link is not working.How to fix this issue - I just want the responsive html to show the hyperlink as "/Help/API" instead of  file:///Help/API"

Running RoboHelp 2020.1 BACKGROUNDWe currently update HTML5 output by generating the output and then manually copying/pasting it to the internal webserver where it lives.We'd like to start using the publish feature in RoboHelp - using File System type publishing profiles for the relevant projects. QUESTIONIf the Republish All option isn't selected, will the publishing process still update/replace ONLY those files/topics that are different (or non-existent) - even though this is my first time publishing? My uncertainty stems from not knowing how the process determines/tracks changed topics/files. Does RoboHelp create/store a record of changes, or is it similar to how Windows handles identical files during a copy/paste process (e.g., compare the two files' sizes and (maybe?) timestamps)? Bottom line, the first time I run the publish process, do I need to select Republish All, or am I safe leaving it unselected? 

I'm using RH2020, frameless output.How do you add a button to the row of topic page buttons that copies the URL of the current topic to your clipboard? Right now, I've got the out-of-box functionality working where you click the Share button, and the share panel appears with an option to share via email. Sharing via email opens your email provider in a separate browser with the link to the topic pre-populated in an email draft. However, our customer support team wouldn't just share using an email - their responses need to be sent through our ticketing system. All I really want is for them to click the Share button, and for the link to be copied to their clipboard instead so that they can paste it into their response in a ticket. How do I make that happen? Colleagues - Has anybody successfully run RoboHelp 2020 for MacOS on an M1 Mac? I'm seeing some "unsuccesful" reports here, but no mention of success. For me, RoboHelp 2020 churns on the initialization screen. I acknowledge that RoboHelp 2020 for MacOS is only supported on Intel architectures. But as an analogy, several people on the FrameMaker forums have figured out and shared how to run Adobe FrameMaker (2019 and 2022) on Windows 11/ARM architectures (also unsupported, but works with some configuration hacks). I'm reaching out here on the chance that anybody has figured out the same for RH 2020/MacOS on the M1 chip. TIA! -Alan Houser 412-551-8882  

I have been experiencing a problem with the title font showing as the same color as the background every time I publish. In the template, I have the title font color set to white (as the image shows). I've checked the css and master page (as have others in my group) and we can't find anything to indicate why this is happening. Regardless of what color I change the background to, the title font seems to stick to the original color of the background (the other images show the blank title, and thee highlighted title, so you can see it's there). Changing these font colors in the css doesn't have an effect. I can't seem to find this font color anywhere else. Any ideas? No one else in my group is experiencing this problem, but they are on RH2020. As the newest member of this team, I was given RH2022 so it has to be something there.

Where do you insert the mini TOC in the master page in order for it to appear after the first line (which is the topic heading and uses the Heading 1 style) but above the rest of the body of the topic?

I've tried just about everything I can think of from using text centering button, to center aligning table button, to indent button, even selecting table and attempting to use inline centering by inserting <center> tag. No dice. I have no idea on going in and manually messing with the .css, I'm pretty much a novice when it comes to that, but shouldn't it work as advertised without having to do all that?

In my Responsive HTML5 output, when a user searches, the search results show (1) the topic name, (2) some words beneath it, and (3) breadcrumbs below it. If that particular topic has Index keywords associated it, #2 displays those keywords. In the Output presets, I've chosen to show "Text around the search term" but that's not what I'm seeing in the output.From this website (https://www.grainge.org/pages/authoring/rh_tour/rh2022/toc_index_glossary/index.htm) I see that "The index keywords will also be shown in search results unless of course you have set your output to exclude the index." But I don't know how to set up my output to exclude the index.  In the output presets on the content tab, I tried unchecking "Include Index" but that didn't do it.So how do I set up my output to exclude the index so that when you're searching in the output (i.e., not within Robohelp) you don't see the list of keywords in search results?  

Good Day All: I have an unresolved issue with JavaScript and Sharepoint ASPX files. This doesn't seem to be a problem with HTML files, only with ASPX files. There are two topics that have custom JavaScript files. Script A supports a horizontal tab menu on one topic. Script B supports a vertical tab menu on another topic. The problem appears with both topics. When a topic loads in SharePoint, the script does not run. The script will run after a page refresh. However, the refresh doesn't "stick" when moving to another topic.  For example: Select the first topic, the script doesnt run. Refresh the page, the script runs. Select the second topic, the script doesnt run. Refrush the page, the script runs. Return to the first topic, the script doesnt run.   RoboHelp 2020.5.71 is the authoring tool. The JavaScript code was moved to multiple locations (external file, within the header, within the body) to determine if that was the issue, but the results are the same.  As you c

Hello,When generating a project to Microsoft HTML the format font and alignment are different from editing mode and become messy. And some pics on some topics are corrupt.(Edit mode) (Generated)(pics corrupt)      

I just installed the new RH 2022.  Then upgraded my project then outputted to Word. When I open the docx in Word, I get the following: "Word experienced an error trying to open the file.  Try these suggestions..." Any idea what's causing this and, more importantly, how to fix it. Thanks!  

I'm having a similar issue. When I link or even try to just import a FrameMaker book, RoboHelp opens FrameMaker, then it opens the book, then it creates the html. That's all great, but the generated html is stuck in the user\appdata\temp\RHTMP folder. The files are there, everything is correct, it just can't seem to get the files from the temp directory to the project folder. Any ideas as to why? 

Hi All, My reviewers have picked up on behaviour which is understandably frustrating them. When navigating our help site (frameless output) hitting the back button in the browser always returns to the top of the previous topic. The expected behaviour is for the back button to return to the previous position on the last page, not the top. This is particularly annoying when the user has clicked a link in a long article, but then needs to return to that article at the same point. It's a lot of scrolling. Has anyone noticed this, found it unhelpful, and implemented a solution? Best regards,Tim (RoboHelp 2020.7.46)

Hi, does anyone know how to get RH to generate an index html as part of the output? The attached file shows the list of files I currently get. I am using a modified version of the Framless preset (I didnt modify it so unsure what the modifications are). Thanks. 

I installed the Demo version on my M1 Macbook pro, and all was working well. I copied .htm files from a Flare project generated and viewed the project.  Shut down and restarted my mac, and now I can't get RoboHelp to open any project. All I get is the Robohelp Menu bar and nothing else. Is this M1 vs Intel issue on the Mac? Any help is most welcome.

I've got a Robohelp license through my company. I was using it with no problems for a long period, until the following message has appeared when starting the application:Your Robohelp license has expired. For questions regarding your account or to renew your license, please contact your IT administrator.My IT administrator is confirming that the license has been renewed, but I am still receiving the same message from Adobe.Also tried to sign out and sign in my Adobe account: nothing changed,Could you please let me know what is my license current status and history from your perspective?Thanks a lot.

Hello. In Robohelp (version 2022.0.346) when I select all the topic and delete the CSS options from the Multiple topic properties window , neither do I  see any CSS applied not do  I see it as an option. But, on checking the topic preperties of an individual topic I see the relative path. (Attaching the screenshot for reference). Could any one help me understand ,why I see CSS differently  on topic level and when I check it after selecting multiple topics? Thanks.  

I have created a new project (in Version 2022.0.346) . When I try to import topics from a project made in same version, it shows broken images. The images are located in the same path as seen in the Contenet Properties ( on  selecting the image). The images appear only on manually selecting from the insert image window. Now, I have more than 100 images and manaully reinserting / reassigning  is an impossible task. Does anyone have a solution for this issue? Also, I am unable to understand that if the images are located in the corrcet folder (the path is correct) then why do they not visible?  

Hello! Is there a way to force the target for all hyperlinks in a frameless output (RH2020) to display in a parent frame (or new window, etc.)? All of the hyperlinks and cross-references in my projects are currently set to be displayed in frame, page default. I need to update them to be displayed in the parent frame. Is there a way I can force this so that I don't have to update the target for every link in every topic in every language? I've tried adding <base target="_parent"/> to the head of my master page, but that didn't work. It also didn't work to add it directly to the head of a topic. I also tried adding the following to my css, which also didn't work:a { target: _parent; }Any other suggestions?

Is it possible to generate responsive HTML output for Glossary (the .glo file kept in the glossary folder)?  

I am trying to setup RH Server 11 to test out its functions before recommending for use.  I see that the operating system requirements list several versions of Windows Server.  I was hoping I could just install on a Windows 10 pc I have just for testing purposes.  The install seems to work fine, but when I try to access the web admin, I am unable to log in with any user/pw I try. Does anyone know if I am just totally barking up the wrong tree here? Thanks

When generating two different HTML5 outputs from my project, RoboHelp appears to be getting stuck on Compressing files. The status bar continues to run under Output Presets. If I view the log file, it shows that Output generation was successful and the files seem OK, but I would prefer that RoboHelp indicate to me that the generation was successful. Has anyone else seen this? I am using RoboHelp 2020.8.34.
