Hi,does anyone know how to create these in a circle enclosed numbers in Adobe Robohelp? 

Hi,- I am using Robohelp 2020 (2020.7.46).- I am also using Frameless preset for my output of the project.In mobile view, when I click 'Show left panel' the top bar (tab-list) remains orange even when I change the color to something different (output > skins > frameless > Edit > left panel > tab-list > shading). Could you advise if it is possible to change it and how, please? Thank you very much for your prompt responce.Regards,Luke

Hi all, I'm using RH 2020.7.46 working with an inherited project, which has been upgraded several times from older versions of RH over the years. I've noticed there are some pages which have an old script at the end of the code before the </body> tag <script type="text/javascript" language="JavaScript1.2"> //<![CDATA[ if (typeof(InitEffects) != 'function') InitEffects = new Function(); InitEffects('h21'); InitEffects('h22'); InitEffects('h23'); InitEffects('h24'); InitEffects('h25'); InitEffects('h26'); InitEffects('h27'); //]]> </script> I'm not entirely sure what this code does, or why it's only on some of the pages. I'm cleaning up some of the HTML which has inherited lots of extra code along the way, including text formatting and external links rather than project links, just because of the way the data has been handled in the past.  Can anyone tell me what this script is for, and if I can remove

Greetings!I am using RH 2020.7.0 to generate Frameless Help. Our client is running security scans on the RH output and has identified three issues with possible solutions:1 - 150124 Clickjacking - Framable Page (Solutions: X-Frame-Options: This HTTP response header can be used to prevent framing of web pages.  OR/AND Content-Security-Policy: The 'frame-ancestors' directive can be used to prevent framing of web pages.)2 - 150122 Cookie Does Not Contain The "secure" Attribute (Solutions If the associated risk of a compromised account is high, apply the "secure" attribute to cookies and force all sensitive requests to be sent via HTTPS.)3 - 150123 Cookie Does Not Contain The "HTTPOnly" Attribute (Solution: If the associated risk of a compromised account is high, apply the "HTTPOnly" attribute to cookies.) I do not understand the issues nor how to apply the recommended solutions. Can anyone help guide me as to how and in what files would I make these changes? 

Hi,- I am using Robohelp 2020 (2020.7.46).- I am also using Frameless preset for my output of the project.- I am also using the Dynamic Content Filter with a few condition tags.I want to generate an output, but once generated I want one of my condition tags (set from Filter tab) to be selected by default.Is it even possible and how please?Thank you very much for your prompt responce.Regards,Luke

Hi, Everyone. In RH 2020.7.46, I'm getting the restart error upon generating output. (See screenshot below). After several hours of testing, I've confirmed a two-fold pattern:  When generating frameless output, I get the "Application Error... Restart RH." NOTE:  the output generates just fine underneath the error message. It will also publish to SharePoint just fine. From then on, every time I  generate output, I get the same error, while the output generates & publishes just fine. In my backup projects, I get the same result, with one difference. When I open the backup the first time, I must unzip its compressed folder. That very first time I generate output from the backup, the process hangs on "Starting generation." I'm forced to exit or restart RH. The next time I generate output, that's when I get the "Application Error... Restart RH." And every subsequent time I generate, I get that error. This pattern has held true for 3 different proj

I have generated the output but if I reference the script using the embed code nothing is displayed. I have tried it in the head section or on the page after a paragraph. Is this how you should use this code? Hello, Not sure if i am missing a setting or this is just can't be done with RH.  In my PDF templates, I use the chapter name (always h1) in the top-right of my header.  Is it possible to set the header variable to use whatever the H1 text is in a topic instead of the chapter title (which is basically the topic title/<title> field)?  I have quite a few mini guides.  In my web output, the chapters are all in one topic with the on page mini-toc for each guide.  I also need to offer PDF versions of these mini-guides.  I would like the chapter (h1) title to appear at the top of each section without the need to break it into several separate topic files (duplication of work).  I was able to do this in Flare where the most recent H1 was used in the header variable every time i inserted a page break.   This allowed me to import mds, edit/rewrite, and deploy in web and PDF formats quite effortlessly.  I reached out to support to

Using RoboHelp 2020.7.46 / W10 / 64 Bit My understanding is RH can convert my English project to another language. Is there any guidance / best practices on how to best proceed? For example, do I just copy my RH folder, rename it, and use the translate feature so I have two active projects? If changes are made to a file, I update the English file, copy the English file into the other project and covert as required? I have not looked into this much so wanted to ask for guidance before staring this process. I have hundreds of topics to convert and was hoping to get some tips on how to best proceed. Thank you. Shawn

Hi, I am rather stumped on what seems a very simple task. How can I edit the CSS of this skin? The source code shows "layout.css" being referenced but I cannot find this file. I have changed the background color of my topics to a dark shade and the Skin (charcoal grey) displays a white border around the topic area. In the dev console I see that I need to add the background color to a div class "topic main sidebar-opened". I do not think that I am the first user to apply a background shading and everybody who does will run into this problem with HTML5. Yet I could not find a solution. Robert

I have been trying to update my project in Rh 2020.7 today.  During the updates to text and images, the screen will go blank.  Rh doesn't completely crash. I downloaded the latest update 2020.7.46 to try to eliminate this happening.  It is actually worse and happening more since I updated. Is anyone else experiencing this?If so, do you know a fix?

I plan to move a help system from AuthorIt 6.51 to RoboHelp 2020. Anyone have experience migrating files from AuthorIt? Any tips, advice, etc.?

I'm working with RoboHelp 2019 (2019.0.14) - not the Classic version. I see in the RoboHelp User Guide that you can customize a Mini Toc. It says: "Click the Mini TOC placeholder to set its properties."  However, when I do as instructed, I get a warning that: "It is read only content" Any ideas? How can I customize the Mini TOC? Thanks.

I am creating FAQ through Microcontent. By default, the output of microcontent is drop-down style. Is it anyway possible to show them as normal FAQ or change the look and feel of the output with spacing between two questions.   Moderator: I have changed the version in the title.

How do I change the bullet color in RH 2020 version, without affecting my text font? Below is the screenshot from word and I need the same format in RH. 

Our software product has 5 different modules and the User Guide has 5 books in TOC for 5 different modules of the software. Not all the customers subscribe to all 5 modules, so we need to show the content of only the subscribed modules. I am trying to restrict the end user from accessing the unsubscribed modules. Is there any way to handle or customize this? Can we extract the hierarchy of TOC and customize it? or is there any way that we generate 5 different outputs for 5 different modules and try to link their index files?

Our company is using Git / GitHub for source control. I have connection profiles setup in RoboHelp, everything works, no problem. We also manage translations. We use the Google Translate API do do machine translation, which gets us 90-95% of the way there. Then, we review the translated project to iron out the wrinkles left by the automated translation and replace images that contain text. Basically, I'm looking for advice when working with both elements at the same time: translations and source control. Single repo vs. multiple reposFrom the experimentation I've done, I think it is generally better to use a distinct repository for each RoboHelp project we have. I found that if I need to disconnect a project and remove the local copy from my hard drive, using the Remove Connection option from RoboHelp will disconnect the entire repository. If other projects are in the same repo, they will all become disconnected. Also, commits are easier to track with separate repos.&nbs

Hello 🙂 I'm using RoboHelp 2020.7.46, working with a project consisting of 1 master and 2 child projects. These are set up as prescribed on Peter Grainge's site. I have indexed some of the topics in both child projects, and when I generate and do a test publish to a local directory everything displays correctly: When I publish to our server, however, the index disappears.Between the test local publish and the live server publish, I've made no changes to the output preferences other than the directory to which it should publish. I think there must be something I've done or something in my setup not allowing the index to publish to the live server, as it was always present in previous versions of live. Good Day Support TeamI am currently working on Robohelp version 2020.6.76 and generated a frameless output of our online document only to find out there seems to be some text (Hyperlink to Index .html) that is being displayed on top of an image in the Skin Home Page in the top right-hand corner. When viewing in the Browser window and inspecting the code, there seems to be a hyperlink to an index which I cannot locate within Robohelp settings to remove? Are you able to assist please?Thank you

Hi,We are using RoboHelp (2020) as an authoring tool to create help system for platform users.How can I put notifications about platform downtime in Home page and in sections level.I know that we can add snippets to master page and generate those notifications in topics. What about a higher level? Can I add it in the skin or any other way?Thanks much,Angie

I am new to RoboHelp 2019.  I am attempting to customize the Learn A Latte skin.  When I set the Layout->TOC->Images->Book to another image it does not appear in the initial screen.  I have also tried setting it as the Topic image, no luck.  I also tried setting the image in the TOC properties themselves, failed. How can I change the TOC images displayed with the TOC Titles?   thanks,k

So this just happened... I'm using Robhelp 2020.6.76When I press the CTRL key, the content page automatically zooms out. I tried to use other apps, such as WORD, EXCEL, and on Chrome. Pressing the CTRL key (alone) does not have any effect on the zooming.I also did a reboot, thinking it will resolve the zoom issue, but it's still there. It's very annoying since I use keyboard shortcuts all the time.Does anyone know if I happened to "turn on" something in Robohelp (fast fingers :)), and it saved the CTRL key as a shortcut for zooming out?

Orange) 2 zusätzliche Button einfügen, die die Browser-Funktion history.back() und history.forward() ausführen.Die Button habe ich erstellt und im Eingabefeld Javascrip OnClick history.back() und history.forward() eingetragenIn der Ausgabe Frameless sind die Button zu sehen aber die Funktionen werden nicht ausgeführt.Was muss ich tun?Was muss ich in die Felder Javascript OnClick eintragen?Ich bitte um Hilfe.Danke. 

Using RH 2020.7.46. When I start from scratch, the file works well with Frameless and Orange skin. Under skin, when I select a different Home Page "hero" image (Top Section > container) and generate the output, I lose the image I chose and nothing appears. Under skin, I select the Topic Page > Header > logo and add a new Image path for the logo; when I generate the output, I lose the logo image and nothing appears. Something has to be broken in the Orange skin (somehow) or I am missing something very obvious. Open to all suggestions. Thank you!
