The image below has been assigned the NPX LR conditional tag. But there is no color indication. Where can I go to get that to show up?

Hi, we've been having some trouble trying to move the search box to the blue "toolbar" below its default position (see picture below). Is there a way to do this in RoboHelp (possibly by modifying some source files)? Moving what seemed to be the search box element in HTML did not work for us (the search icon was not visible). We're using RH 2020 with the Oceanic skin, using HTML5 output. Thank you.
Frame 2020 uses RH2019 components, but I need its output to blend into a Robohelp 2020 output using responsive help. When I import the Frame book into Robohelp, I cannot get Robohelp to honor the filename markers so that Robohelp uses the specific filenames I need. Does anyone know how to get Robohelp to honor the filename markers (I've used a custom marker and PageBreak markers, neither seem to work)? Or, does anyone know how to use scripting to get RH to rename files? If I can get that to work, I can write a script to get the new filename from within the html files. Robohelp 2020.7, FrameMaker 16.0.4 Thanks!
Curious whether Adobe plans to have any sort of presence at next month's Society for Technical Communication Summit conference (Chicago/Rosemont). I've attended this conference multiple times in the past - including Adobe's Tech Comm Tools Workshop - and while making arrangements to attend next month, noticed that Adobe doesn't appear to have ANY presence there - sponsorship, workshop, or booth. I realize it's not directly a RoboHelp post, but I thought it was at least somewhat related and that some others might appreciate any insight as well. Thank you!
Hi all, I was generating PDF documents prior to updating to version 2020.7.46. I was running whatever version was previous to that. Before updating, documents included a table of contents - and worked perfectly. Now, all documents are showing blank contents pages, as shown below. This is a showstopper, as it's preventing us from being to generate any PDF guides from the system. Is there a workaround for this?

I am a new RoboHelp user und I want to import content written with Word 2013 into RoboHelp. I'm using RH HTML 9.0.2 and MS Word 2013 (Office 2013) on a Windows 7 professional computer.When I try to import a Word-Document (I downloaded and used the example document from Peter Grainge and also tried other Word-documents) I get the following message:"A supported version of Microsoft Word does not exist. Please install Microsoft Word 2000 or newer."What can I do?
Hi,We have two projects with their respective frameless outputs. In the header of project 1 we see this entry:<meta name="template" content="../assets/masterpages/DV_Template.htt" /><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />in the <head> tag. Project 2 does not show this for some reason in the <head> tag.Would that be a problem in anyway? Anything related to caching etc.?
I've been using the Preview mode successfully but today it displays a Filters pane with Expand All Text and Collapse All Text buttons. I can't close or hide it--I can't get the Preview mode back.
Hi,I need to create a table where the first row is the table header and it has a different style; for example, it has a background color, and the text is bold and centralized.Also, in the PDF output, I want the table header to repeat if the table breaks between pages. I define a style for the <th> tag and then applied the Convert to Header option on the first row. The style of the <th> tag got applied to the selected row but the table header did not repeat when the table overflowed to the next page. Can anybody please help with this issue?
This is a very frustrating problem that I just can't seem to pin down. Sometimes, while performing a search, the web page will just freeze showing the following error after about 30 seconds: This seems to happen on all browsers (reported on Edge, Chrome and Firefox), and is completly random. For example, if I can for "Runway Objects" on chrome and it will freeze the first two times, but then work suddenly, while it won't freeze on any of the other browsers (and it'll never freeze on Chrome for that search term again!). This makes it impossible to reproduce consistently, as you never know when a search term will cause this freezing. It's also impossible to debug, as the browser dev tools seem to be useless in this situation. If you try to open them after it happens then they either can't be opened or show nothing, and if they happen to be open when it does happen, they still show nothing! Has anyone else experienced this happening to them? Can anyone think of a way I can
Hi folks, I recently updated a project from RH9 to RH2020.7. I'm having an issue where, when I call an index from our program, the CHM opens and highlights the correct index entry but doesn't display the content the index refers to in the main panel. The user has to click the "Display" button to view the refered content.RH9 CHMs highlighted the index entry but also displayed the content it referred to in the main panel. I'm not sure if this is a settings problem or a change in behaviour from RH. The CHM is located in a directory on the users local machine so it isn't a network issue. Any insight would be appreciated.
goodmorning, I am writing to you as we are unable to import xliff files in RoboHelp 2020, despite having followed the instructions in Adobe guide. Specifically, we created the Translation Folder within the project and inserted here the translated xliff files. Could you help us? Thanks in advance
I've been trying for several days now, to activate. Chatting with support, validated, that I do in fact have a valid activation key. After 45 minutes of back and forth they said they cannot support me, and directed me to a couple of web pages. Truly.... frustrating. Error descriptions:A) When starting the app:"The serial number xxxx is already in use by the maximum allowed computers. You need to deactivate another computer within 18 days to use this product."B) When attempting to activate:"We are unable to validate this serial number for Adobe Robohelp 2015. Please contact Customer Support." I've logged into my Adobe account, found that there are ZERO products activated, so I'm unable to deactivate anything there. Thank you for any assistance. The lack of phone support was suprising, as Adobe use to do so to great effect.

We recently started working on a new project where the documentation was created in Confluence. However, we use Robohelp 2017 for our documentation needs. Is there any way to import the documentation from Confluence to Robohelp without having to a manual migration?
In case I'm totally missing something, when you have a frameless output and you have what Adobe calls Header links (Features, About, Feedback, by default). I was having problems making these work and wondered if you needed some special type of URL for it. It just sticks the URL you enter (for example About.htm) on the end of the current URL you are in... and if you are in a folder, where this page isn't stored, then, you get page not found.I thought maybe I'm doign something wrong but I just got a new copy of the Compass Travel sample project and built it without any modification to the Studio Frameless and the same thing happens:Features for example:Points to a topic on the "top level": when you build, if you are in another page on the top level, this works: But if you are not, and you're in a folder, it doesn't because it just sticks the URL on the end of the current folder:This seems like a big flaw to me that is probably already known. In RH 2020, I am importing .fm files from FrameMaker 2020. The text comes in as, say, Arial 8pt. I want it to be Palatino Linotype 10 pt (my Body style). When I select multiple paragraphs to which to apply Body, only the first paragraph changes to PL10. The other paragraphs remain at Arial 8. I need to select each paragraph and individually apply the Body style. What am I missing?
I have seen advice given in a few blogs to refer to the RoboHelp 2020 Sample Project. Can someone please advise how I access the sample project in version 2020.1.54. I'm using RoboHelp 2015 to create a .chm file that is called from within our application. Yesterday our company pushed Windows Security update KB5011485 to our Windows 10 laptops, and now the help file has major issues. (I have proved this update is the cause, because I was unable to temporarily uninstall it, but my company will be pushing it back onto my machine any minute now!)The file still opens but the formatting of the text is wrong in some places, graphic images and .shg images do not appear at all, and worst of all, after looking at one or two topics, it goes into a Script Error "loop" where an error message is presented and you can't get out of it (multiple error windows keep appearing after you try to click out of one). Apparently the RH2015-generated chm runs a lot of functions that Windows has deemed insecure.Would updating RoboHelp fix this? I greatly appreciate any ideas. So sorry for such a dumb question, but there's no easy way to "open or export" an existing project without all the mess is there? What I mean by mess is that, we have so many folders, files that I know we don't need from the past at the "project level" directory where the .rhpj file is located. I mean I inherited so many files and I don't want to pick and choose what to delete from that folder/level. All I want is the ability to "start clean by opening it up (which I can), and export a new fresh clean files." Is there an easy way? Thank you all so much!

In particular, he cannot see margins and the font correctly within the project. It's no the first time we've shared zips, but it's the first time I've changed the text margins.We both have RH 2020 and view the content with windows 10.Could you help us?
Hello Everyone,Does anyone know the character limits for styles when starting a new topic?I am attempting to create Responsive HTML output by linking a Word document. One link to a Heading 2 style in my output navigation pane was broken and did not work, but the output did produce the HTML output. The navigation pane indicates the faulty link does indeed have the correct link address. I experimented a bit and shortened the title, relinked the Word document (started over) and the link in the navigation pane worked great.It appears the problem was the length of the title. I would like to communicate to our content producers to not create titles of excessive character lengths.Does anyone know what the character limits are?Thank you,Ken
