Very excited by the new Blender plugin. Any Chance it will be expanded to work with other render engines in Blender such as Octane for Blender?Xolotl Studio's excellent Substance Painter plugin for Blender can work with Cycles, Eevee, AND Octane!
The Presets are in the correct order when opening the SBS in Designer.When loading the published SBSAR in Blender (3.6 LTS Current Version) using the Substance add-on (2.0.0) the Presets are visible but out of order, in that the presets are associated with the wrong parameters, specifically Base Color.Also, some of the preset parameter values are not being retained when loading in the Substance add-on.Wondering if anyone has seen this or may know of something I'm doing wrong to resolve this issue.
Hello, I am a Playstation game developer and I need Substance C++ files to compile the Unreal Engine 4 plugin for PS4. I tried using the developer status confirmation function, but there is no response. Is there any way to get them?
We are licensed developers and cannot build the UE4 plugin runtime for consoles. We tried e-mailed support and they directed us to this forum. Where can we confirm our developer status to obtain the console libraries?
the fact is that when you press the "load" button, several seconds pass and instead of opening the archive selection browser, the inscription "Substance 3D in Blender: SRE Initialized successfully in [2.029] seconds" is displayed I reinstalled the addon and tools, even installed different versions of the blender, but nothing works
When you click the download button, this appears (Substance 3D in Blender: SRE Initialized sucessfully in [2.217] seconds)(photo above). A folder for searching for material in computer files should have appeared. Blender version 4.2.What to do? How to fix?
Hi im new to this side of 3d. When I try to use the plug in "substance 3d for unreal engine" in UE5.3.1 and 5.2.1 to import a sbsar file it shows this error and does not show up in the folder: And when I try to import the same file a second time in a row I get an overwrite warning for the file like it was allready imported:If I click Yes, the file appears in the folder, but I cant use it, and sometimes UE crashes.Here are some logs:Im going to try on UE4 next

I have been using the blender add-on integration tools to load the adobe Substance materials in my 3D files. But now I have a new laptop (macbook pro) and when I try to install the same add-on and integration tools it does not work anymore. I get an error trying to install the add-on and all the materials I try to apply are shown as black. Hopefully there is someone that can help me. I already tried unintalling and re-installing the addon multiple times. My hardware and software is up to date:Blender version is up to date: 3.4.0Macbook Pro: Ventura 13.0.1 I get this error:
After loading and applying a sbsar using the Adobe Substance Blender Add-on, objects exported to gLTF or USD lose their material. No textures are exported or embedded into the files. gLTF export works fine in current Blender 4.2, though USD export still seems to lose the material.
I just installed the plugin from substance 3D to blender. I loaded a material, but then it says "(error)", I can't apply it to any object. The object is UV-unwrapped, but the way it looks is like it doesn't matter what the object looks like, it's an error from loading the material. Does anyone know what could be the problem?
I tried to load a .sbsar file and received the following message in Substance 3D in Blender: "Substance file [base-concrete.sbsar] located at [D:\blender檔案\texter\base-concrete.sbsar] could not be loaded."

i am using Unity 2022.3.22. When i import the substance to unity plugin i am met with these errors. I am targetting the Android platfrom as i am making a VR experience. I have changed the the .so files in the plugin folder to include android but this does not help . I did see others with this issue but they said they fixed this issue with the sbsario.dll file. Any help would be greatly appretiated 🙂

Hello, I am using the Substance Plugin with Unreal Engine 5.3. I have a USubstanceGraphInstance* with some input parameters that I customize at runtime before rendering the graph instance. Since I only want to read the pixel data from the generated output textures, I don't need to save the textures to disk. I have two questions:How do I register a callback function, or is there another way to get notified when the async rendering of a graph instance has finished?Once the rendering has finished, how can I access the generated output textures as a UTexture2D*? Thanks!
Hello there, Most often an SDK will have a mention of developer support or a forum to ask questions but the Substance materials SDK seems to have no mention of that, nor have I found any Adobe forum where such questions can be asked. As such, please excuse me posting this question in the 3D Plugins forum. 1) Is there a dedicated forum for Substance materials SDK support? I believe that may be no. 2) I do have one specific question: what is the preferred or exposed method for serializaing a Substance file's current loaded state (within the Materials SDK) to and from its host application? In other words, what method does Adobe's internal developers use (for its custom plugins) to capture and save the state of the currently loaded .sbsar file (and its modified tweak parameter list) within the host's scene graph and file format (such as within its implementation for 3ds Max, Maya, Cinema-4D, VRED, etc)? The only simple way I can see that being done is by importing and export
I noticed that using "Substance2" node will increase rendertimes from 400%-1000% compared to old "Substance" node. This makes Substance workflow very difficult right now. I can replicate the effect just by connecting substance map in to the Diffuse slot of a material and rendering.We use V-ray 5 but the perfomance issue is noticeable with Arnold renderer also. I have contacted Substance support and have not recieved any solutions.I have switched Substance engines between GPU and CPU but no difference in render time. Also noticed that the "Substance2" resource allocation is different than the "Substance". Please see the images and compare the render times and see the picture from the Task Manager.
[Code_Response.toolkit_file_not_recognized_error]This is the error I find every time I try to install the Substance 3d in Blender 4.0Also checked the latest versions of Substance 3d and in the discussion sections other similar errors but couldn't find a solution please help. I am using a Windows computer.
