Adobe Fonts

We are having some issues with line-heights regarding Cambria. Even if I manually set the line-height I want and the text is displayed correctly, when you select the text or try to hover it you'll notice issues with the line-height being larger than it is supposed to be. Try selecting the text (tested in Chrome, Edge and Firefox on PC) and you'll see what I mean.  Also try to hover the links. Since the browser thinks the line-height is much larger, the area that "triggers" the hover effect is incorrect and you can't access some of the links because of overlap. Here is a simple test page I made:https://devlab.ericj.se/me/_temp/font_test.html

Can someone explain this logic to me. Photography Plan - Includes Adobe Fonts Adobe Fonts - Includes ALL Fonts But when looking for some fonts… I need to “Subscribe to Creative Cloud” Some fonts are behind a CC upgrade paywall.

Hey Font Lovers! Do you know how to display all fonts in alphabetical order? When I'm trying to do this, a list is ending at page 200 and a letter K. How to show the fonts from K to Z? Maybe I can modify that URL somehow to achieve this? https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts?browse_mode=default&cc=true&max_styles=26&min_styles=1&sort=alpha&page=200

This one has me completely stumped. On my Mac Mini, this symbol ♫ displays in a Premiere Pro title using Catamaran Thin. But on my MacBook Pro, the symbol does not show. Both fonts have been added through creative cloud. I have not done an extensive comparison between the computers to see if there are any further discrepancies between their fonts because this is the only one that matters for this project. Both Premiere and MacOS are the same versions on both machines, I’ve compared my settings in Premiere, and I’ve reinstalled the font.Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Looking for the Bengals script font on this shirt. We know it isn’t a logo or mark - it is just a font but haven’t found the name.

For years I've had issues with installing/keeping Adobe Fonts saved to my copmputers. Whether it's because they lost their licensing agreement with a third party company, or by promoting their own fonts (which seem to dissappear when you try installing them), Adobe has officially wasted enough of my time and money... Q:  Found a font and want to add the whole family to use in your projects?[Adobe solution]:   Great! Only 4 of the 10 fonts actually showed up in your library, (you didn't need that Regular or Bold Italic version of that font right?)Q:  Want to install the font to use locally for other projects?[Adobe solution]:   Sure! Well it says the font is 'active' from the fonts.adobe.com dashboard, now look in your CC app and it should be ther... NOTHING IS THERE Q:  I thought (finally) that this font was successfully installed, but I dont see it in my libraries[Adobe solution]:   We're sure its there! but first did you:shut dow

We use Area Normal (by Blaze Type) from Adobe Fonts, both on the desktop through Creative Cloud font sync and on our website through an Adobe Fonts web project. For the same font and the same version (Version 2.000; Glyphs 3.4 (3400)), the vertical metrics differ between the two:  - Desktop-synced files: hhea, typo and win all 950 / -250, USE_TYPO_METRICS on  - Web kit files (served from use.typekit.net): hhea 1300 / -340, typo 750 / -250, win 1300 / 340, USE_TYPO_METRICS offcapHeight is 780 in both. Because browsers use the web kit's hhea/win values, text that is vertically centered in our design files (made with the desktop font) renders about 0.09em lower on the web, so buttons and labels look off-center.This is not a local app issue. Visitors' browsers download the web kit files directly from Adobe's servers, so reinstalling Creative Cloud doesn't change anything. Is this difference intended? If not, could the Adobe Fonts team update the web kit files to match the desktop metrics (95

Hey community,I am having an issue while trying to edit existing files that were formely created in the Adobe CC programms. The Source Sans Pro font "jumps" up, but nothing indicates a change in value of the baseline offset. When I try to edit the same file with a different account nothing bad happens and i can work on those files without any problems, but that account belongs to another colleague so it is not a permanent fix.I kind of fixed it by using Source Sans 3 instead of Source Sans Pro, but that would only be a fix for me.I am working with two more on those files. Is here anyone with a similar issue in the past and has a solution?Any help is appreciated.Cheers,Max

Where are the Adobe CC font files locally stored on mac? How can I find it? I am using Adobe CC products only for the font. But I can't find it on local.

I added this font named Playwrite CC Portugal to Adobe Suite, and it keeps displaying like this in every programs including Illustrator and InDesign:  This is how the text app eared when I added it from the Adobe Fonts website:  It seems like all the other cursive fonts on my laptop is having a same problem. How do I solve this?

hi - does anyone know how to view the full glyph set of a font/font face within Adobe Fonts? When I am searching for fonts to use, I am often looking at/for specific letters or looking to see what "extras" come with a font. It seems obvious (and is easy on other font sites) to look at a grid of every glyph for a given font, but I can't seem to find this feature on Adobe Fonts site.  What am I missing? thanks for any help, Debbie

So what to do?just now I need the regular. All is installed. But when I look here. It seems very strange when I look at my Create Cloud. Why can't they be installed?? See here:

Adobe Fonts are not syncing with the Creative Cloud desktop app or other applications.Issue details:I added several fonts (such as Komu New) via the fonts.adobe.com website, where they are listed as successfully added to my account. However, in the Creative Cloud desktop app (under the "Added fonts" section), the list appears completely empty, and the fonts are unavailable in Premiere Pro and other programs.Troubleshooting steps already taken:Account verification: Confirmed that the account logged into the web browser is exactly the same as the one logged into the Creative Cloud desktop app.Process restart: Restarted the Creative Cloud desktop app (Ctrl + Alt + R) and restarted Adobe services via Task Manager.Service settings: Disabled and re-enabled the Adobe Fonts option within Creative Cloud Preferences.Local cache cleanup: Closed processes and deleted temporary files from the following paths: `%localappdata%\Adobe\CoreSync` and `%localappdata%\Adobe\AdobeDesktopExtra`.Program panel

Hi,We are trying to use Urbane on our website. We are moving from a self-hosted solution to using Adobe Fonts (typekit). When we use the Adobe Fonts version of Urbane in our staging environment, the font does not display correctly.Lowercase letters u, v, w, x, and y are 1px shorter than other lowercase letters when displayed at 16px. The tittle of the “i” is nearly touching the stem, making it look like a lowercase L. The example below demonstrates how it almost makes the letters look like they’re in camelcase:I have contacted Adobe support who say the only solution is to use another font! But that isn’t a solution when the brand font is Urbane. Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve? Thanks,Duncan

Hello people of the world!Just as the title says, all of my installed Adobe Fonts are gone, poof! I opened Illustrator, told I needed to log-in (last use was on Aug 30) so I did, opened my AI project file and was greeted with a Missing Fonts pop-up. I also opened PS to check, also gone. I checked CC and there were no fonts! So I looked it up on the internet and showed that it might be a sync problem. I did the CC preference, torn off font sync, log off and in, restarted my desktop, etc etc. I only got 2 fonts back! Crazy! Will this problem fix automatically on its own or should I just cope and re-install the fonts if I could still remember the names? Any input is welcome :DThanks!

Freight Sans on adobe font site does not sit in the text box (indesign) the same way the Pro version does. It sits lower within the box, while the Pro version aligns with the top of the box. I have work with Pro version that now when font replaced need to be manually fixed. Problem because coworkers still have Pro version and we all work on same files. Any suggestions?

In the monospace typefaces I have, except for Courier, the ones I've tested seem to have an x-height taller than the surrounding characters at the same point size.Georgia and MenloI guess I just don't want to use Courier because it is so overused. A zero with a line through it would be nice as well, but no big deal.Suggestions?Thanks.

Look, there are much more important things going on in the world but this whole practice of Adobe Fonts euphemistically “retiring” entire libraries of fonts is absolutely ridiculous. This practice destroys whatever implied reliability this service may have had. The Font Bureau library specifically added a ton of value and removing it severely undermines this. I totally get that relationships and contracts with third parties can change, but Adobe should not make the customers suffer for their inability to support the platforms they create. I don't know what the answer is here, but I know the current arrangement ain’t it.
