AEUX plugin not showing the UI

I have recently been experiencing a black screen with the AEUX plugin, which is not working. is there any way to fix it?

How did you install the extension? Using a ZXP installer?

No, I installed it manually.

Manual installation (the last resort!) 

I checked, and the AEUX extension uses CSXS version 5.

So, in your registry, you should have CSXS.5 with a PlayerDebugMode key set to 1.

If it’s too complicated, install AEUX_0.8.2.zxp using the ZXP Installer, it should handle it automatically.

We'll try something:

Open the AEUX extension window in After Effects

then in Google Chrome paste this URL:

http://localhost:7220/

Click on AEUX

Go to the console tab, and maybe we'll find some errors there:
