Exporting a .mov file with After Effects CC2024 Creates a "Media Created" Date in the Future

Enthusiast ,

Today and yesterday I rendered ProRes 4444 videos with After Effects CC2024.

In the "Date" field that shows by default in Windows 10 Pro it shows , for yesterday's files a date of 26/10/2024 (about a week into the future), but a "date created" of 18/10/2024 (yesterday).

For today's output files it shows a date (media created date) of 27/10/2024 (again about a week in the future) but a "date created" of today.

This is what MediaInfo shows for today's ProRes file (exported using After Effects CC2024).

Format : MPEG-4
Format profile : QuickTime
Codec ID : qt 2005.03 (qt )
File size : 797 MiB
Duration : 14 s 133 ms
Overall bit rate mode : Variable
Overall bit rate : 473 Mb/s
Frame rate : 30.000 FPS
Encoded date : 2024-10-27 12:03:53 UTC  ** incorrect. It's a date about a week in the future **
Tagged date : 2024-10-19 12:04:09 UTC ** correct. today's date **
Writing library : Apple QuickTime

This is what Window 10 Pro properties shows fo today's exported file:

Media Created: 27/10/2024 12:03 (incorrect date)

Date Created: 19/10/2024 13:03 (correct date)

Date Modified: 19/10/2024 13:04 (correct date)

Can this bug please be fixed as it's writing incorrect dates to files and can be misleading.

This is fixed in the latest version of AE - 25.0. If you experience this issue with projects opened in and exported using 25.0, please let us know.

We do not re-release old versions of AE with patch fixes, as a result, we recommend using the latest version to have access to the latest features and bug fixes.

All the best,
Jessica

Thanks. But isn't it going to also be fixed in After Effects CC2024, so it will work whenever I use that version and with my projects that are created in that version? And if it's wrong in earlier versions too (eg. CC2023) couldn't it be fixed in those too? Having it fixed in more than one vesion will also help if I need to have different projects open at the same time (so one using one version of AE and another using another version of AE).

Mutliple times I've had it say I've got updates for existing After Effects versions saying fixes.

I'ts a shame you don't want to fix this bug in the existing verisons.

I've already said why I need to use existing versions, as I have projects created in them  need to be able to open multiple projects simultaneously. Having to keep going for new verisons also means I have to keep re-adding all my add-ons onto them which takes time and I shouldn't need to expereiment with very new apps which might have their own other bugs in when I'm doing important projects. Adobe should fix their existing bugs in existing verions of the program really I think like they've done multiple times before.
