update from win 7 to 8 due to deactivation?

I can't find my previous post, maybe it was deleted?

I have reported problems with deactivating an old CS6 license and have already tried everything possible. it seems to be because it no longer works with Win 7.
So would an upgrade to Win 8 be a solution or would it have to be 8.1?

The whole thing is strange, because there must be a solution if the PC breaks down, right?

Hey CS6 User!

If you log in to https://adobe.ly/44d251I do you see your old PC listed?

We'll help however we can. Feel free to share the other things you've already tried so we don't suggest the same thing twice.

CS 6 is no longer supported. You may not get it to re-activate. You are missing out on so many awesome features by not having upgraded.

Hello Caroline,
thanks for your message.
As already mentioned, I wanted to uninstall the software on my old computer in order to move to a new computer with win 11. I had tried to find out in advance whether the old CS6 Suite also runs under win 11 and I had the impression that this should actually work.
However, after installing the software from the original CD and restarting as recommended, the computer no longer starts and now I need to find someone to help me with this problem.
