Hi, I just updated to Ae CC 2020 from the 2019 version and now there is a problem when I try to preview my work.
This looks like a GPU driver issue. Ensure you have the latest GPU drivers for your system. Meanwhile, you may also want to disable GPU acceleration in AE's Prefs and in AE's Project Settings dialog.
That's odd. My GPU driver is ok. I mean, I am not an expert, but it looks ok for me.
If it helps, I have an early 2011 MacBook pro, the system is updated. AE CC 2019 worked fine, the problem started to happen when I updated to AE CC 2020.
i have the same problem, how to disable GPU acceleration ??
How do you update to lasted GPU driver??
Same problem here...
Same problem 😕
Have you found a fix for this yet?
I am very new at AE but I did this and it seems to work, for me. Here's the path I took:
Edit>Preferences>General>"Migrate Previous Version Settings..." (bottom right)
Thank you so much for this! Works great now 😃
thx it works!!
Dude thank you so much. I've been going crazy for 3 days! This tottally worked! Thanks!
Tried this but it said no previous versions exist so, didn't work for me.
same problem here ! any body found a fix for that !?
Nope, not yet.
Same problem here
Back to AE 2019 and no problem... strange
how did you roll back to AE 2019 ?
I did not uninstall it ; )
And I confirm : not "preview problem" on AE 2019
Yes but how did you go from 2020 to 2019?
Open Adobe Creative Cloud, go to All Apps, search for AE. There's going to be 3 dots next to the open button. Click on them and select "other versions". Now just find the old version you want and click "download". You got yourself the 2019 version.
Same here. Please help 😞
