Audition

Im working on a translating voice over project. the video reference with the audio track im translating freezes and goes black, audio keeps playing but nothing shows on video panel. i need to see the video to make sure i am doing the voice over properly. any ideas as to why it happens?it will start playing good and about half way through it stops. i listen to the audio only to do voice over but at times it wont match the video. for example they pointed to the camara to talk to audience i didnt know and it was way out of sync. 

Hello Adobe Community! I am looking to shorten some music tracks for an upcoming dance performance event, and rather than just fading songs out at the end I am looking to cut out repetitive sections of the songs. Does anyone have any advice for doing this in a way that makes it not obvious to our audience that the music has been edited? Any tips on clean transitions in a song when a chunk has been taken out?  For context, most of my experience with the adobe suite has been for graphic design, but I am learning this program as a hobbyist and am by no means doing this professionally. I am also a dancer and often have to shorten songs to fit into performance time slots, so I am hoping to gain a better understanding on the best ways to do this.

The last update I did for Audition (26.3.0.79) lost all my custom keyboard shortcuts. If I remember right, the update glitched and I had to uninstall and reinstall Audition. I added my custom keyboard shortcuts again and all of them work fine except for two shortcuts to two custom favorites I created. Every time I quit Audition and reopen, those two shortcuts are gone, all the rest are still there, include 3 other shortcuts to custom favorites. I have tried using different keys combinations as shortcuts but it still happens. It’s as if there is a limit of 3 shortcuts to custom favorites. I am using a relatively new iMac with M4 processor. Tahoe 26.5.2.

Anytime I position my mouse pointer to a different position in an audio file (in Adobe Audition) and left click the mouse a vertical line gets created in the audio file .audio file. Those lines totally screw things up in general. e.g.; The playback volume is changed and it’s a total pain to get rid of them. They only started appearing recently and I have checked al preferences, but found nothing that turns them off.  My install download appears to be dependent upon the Adobe Creative Cloud but when I run iit to re-install the app, this version (CS5.5) is not available.  A fix is urgently needed. Please advise. Thx.

I am an audiobook narrator and have been recording in multitrack forever, going back and checking every punch in to make sure it sounds okay, adjusting the crossfade, etc. My narrator community has told me this is a huge waste of time and to just record in waveform. BUT EVERY TIME I DO, a small click occurs at EVERY punch spot. I've done everything i can think of to eliminate this, but auto healing these takes more time and effort then simply going back to check my multitrack crossings. Has anyone ever had this issue? These are what the clicks look like every time I punch in, they are noticeable on the waveform and I can hear them. I have it set to snap to zero crossings and I still have this problem.  

I produce a weekly radio series (Analog Masters) devoted to classical LPs and 78s. I regularly use Audition to transfer audio from the original source to a digital format. Since the most recent Windows update (late August 2026), I have noticed an audio problem that was not previously audible. Natural fades (such as at the end of a movement) are no longer smooth. One or more ‘bumps’ in audio level are noticeable as the last note fades. I use a Behringer U-Phono UFO202 unit for analog-to-digital conversion. My computer is a recent Dell running Windows 11. I had the most recent version of Audition, but as a test I reverted to 25.6.6. This did not cure the problem. I have also restarted my computer and double-checked all audio settings. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Any suggestions? 

When I attempt to use any UAD plug in, the software immediately crashes. This has never happened before and started with the latest update.  

Adobe 1.5 adds “.24” to the file name when I try to save MP3 files. It has worked well up to today. These files are incompatible with sites so I cannot submit auditions as a voice actor.

Does anyone know how to record a teams meeting without it picking your outside audio? I am on the phone with them but we are seemingly just going in circles. I will share an update if there is one. I just want it to record the audio from the meeting, not me (I am a producer).

Audio experts, please help me set up the effect so that the clean guitar sound has a reverberation and echo effect similar to the guitar sound in the attached audio file.Thank you.

Using virtual WASAPI cables to use two USB mics in Audition, but has problems with Audition’s WASAPI inputs, and crackling sound on recording.Steps to Reproduce: Route a USB microphone(s) through Elgato Wave Link virtual mixer. Set Audition Audio Hardware to WASAPI. Select relevant Wave Link Stream/s as the input on each relevant track. Record audio or listen through monitor. マルチトラックセッションの１トラック上においた音声クリップを１００以上ほどに区切って分割してあるのですが、これをCDのトラック分けみたいに、分割したクリップをそれぞれのmp3ファイルとして一括で書き出したいと思っています。できればあらかじめ分割した各クリップにあらかじめ名前をつけておいて、それに基づいたファイル名で書き出しできればいいのですが、もしかすると分割された各クリップを一個ずつ右クリックして書き出すしか方法がないのでしょうか？

How do I stop double screens appearing when I open Adobe Audition 3

Audition completely unusable. It launches, displays the Learn Panel, and then freezes within 5–10 seconds. The UI becomes unresponsive: Menu items turn gray, the Learn Panel shows a blue highlight border, and the application stops, freezes my entire system & requires a hard reboot. This happens with every single launch, even after “clean” reinstalls and resets!I have fully uninstalled Audition, Creative Cloud, and all other Adobe apps. I have manually deleted all Adobe folders in Program Files, Program Files (x86), AppData, (Local and Roaming) removed leftover CEP, CEF, and WebView2 components, and reinstalled cleanly.Additionally, I have deleted all workspace files (except a custom “NoLearn” workspace created to attempt launching without the Learn Panel,) and edited AuditionPrefs.xml to disable it and set NoLearn as the default. I have deleted recovery files after each crash, and even attempted Shift‑launch to bypass previous sessions.Further, I have renamed Learn Panel extension

Since my update to Audition v 26.3 the Amplitude Statistics display shows my display has changed to show more digits than before, changing from 2 numbers after the decimal point to 15 numbers after the decimal point. I can't seem to change it, very annoying as I have to stretch the column width open to see the first digits before the decimal point, plus it won’t keep the column width every time I go away from it.

I'm experiencing a massivly annoying issue in Adobe Audition 26.3.0.79 on a MacBook Pro (M3 Max, 36 GB RAM).Issue:Audible scrubbing works normally when I first open Audition. However, after working for a short time in a Multitrack Session, audible scrubbing suddenly stops working completely.Normal playback continues to work perfectly. Audio output is fine. Only the audible preview while dragging the playhead disappears.I can reproduce the issue after actions such as:Zooming into the timeline using the MacBook trackpad (pinch gesture) Sometimes after using Shift + Backspace ("Delete and Close Gap" / Ripple Delete)Once the bug occurs:Playhead still moves normally Playback works normally Audio files are fine Only audible scrubbing is goneThe only way to restore scrubbing is to completely quit and restart Audition.
