October 2026: "Mad Hatter"by Lisa CarneyJoin me live on October 5th at 9am PT on YouTube and Behance, where I'll be remixing the "Mad Hatter" image myself and answering your questions in real time! About the ImageThis month I'm sharing one of my favorite shots from a shoot at MAX— a whimsical Mad Hatter character reaching straight out of the frame, with curls of orange hair spilling out from under a black-and-white spotted top hat. I love the theatrical energy in her expression and that playful, come-closer gesture. It feels like she's pulling you right into the frame with her. There's so much personality and texture here, from the lace glove and the velvet gown to the hat details, that I can't wait to see how everyone reinterprets it.Have fun with the Remix and be sure to share yours! I'll announce my favorites at the end of the month and randomly select one entry to receive a complimentary 3-month Creative Cloud subscription. About Me: My name is Lisa Carney. I'm a photograph
Lightroom v9.6: Edit with Prompts, Remove Reflections More Cleanly, and Create with Confidence The September 2026 update to Lightroom (version 9.6) introduces AI-powered prompt-based editing, improved Reflection Removal, and expanded camera and lens support to help photographers work more efficiently and stay in flow. What’s New: The Lightroom (version 9.6) brings more control and flexibility to everyday creative workflows with the introduction of Prompt to Edit, allowing photographers to make complex restorations, retouching, and transformations simply by describing the edits they want or selecting from photographer-focused example prompts. Powered by the Nano Banana model, this new capability makes advanced editing faster and more intuitive. This release also delivers cleaner, more accurate Reflection Removal results on windows, glass, and water, reducing smudges and ghosting artifacts on challenging surfaces. In addition, Lightroom now supports newly added camera models and lenses,
Adobe is excited to receive requests for additional features you need to enhance your workflow. What can you do to increase the chances of being heard? Don't use the words "Feature Request" in your post's title. Search for and add to existing feature requests rather than creating duplicates. There is no advantage to creating a second request for any existing feature request. One request per thread! When creating an Idea or Feature Request thread, please keep requests for features to ONE request per thread. Doing this will allow others to vote on a single, specific feature and not confuse Upvotes amongst a list of feature requests. If an Idea thread has multiple requests in it, a moderator may ask you to split the multiple requests up into multiple threads so others can vote. In the event there remain multiple requests on a thread, the first item requested will be the arbiter of where the thread will be cross-referenced or merged. Describe how the feature will help your workflow. Des

FYI I'm a real person that used ChatGPT to write this request because I don't want to spend a bunch of time doing it, but wanted to let you know I'm a real user! Dear Adobe Team, Please add Collaborative Proofing to Lightroom Classic and Lightroom Desktop. Right now, this feature is only available in Lightroom Web, making the proofing process unnecessarily complicated for photographers who rely on Classic for professional workflow management. I frequently send proofs to models so they can select their favorite images, but the current workflow is frustratingly inefficient: 1. I have to sync images to Lightroom Cloud, which isn’t ideal for my local storage workflow. 2. Then, I have to switch to Lightroom Web just to send the proofing link. 3. Once the model makes their selections, I have to go back into Lightroom Web to create a new album that syncs to Classic—because the selections don’t automatically transfer. 4. After that, I have to manually move the select
After the latest update, the standard profiles are gone. There used to be many options such as Artistic, Modern, Vintage. Now the only ones left are the Film Inspired. Is this a bug or a choice?
I wish to add my camera Nikon D7500 and lens 200-500mm f/5.6 in lens profile, but cannot do it. Please help. Thaks.
Simply running Ai Denoise introduces artifacts into the files periodically - doesn’t happen all the time and not in all files. The artifacts go away when Ai Denoise unselected. Sometimes if I shut down LRc and restart (and sometimes reboot laptop) the artifacts do not appear in the same file when Ai Denoise selected. See artifacts in upper middle and right of frame.
Product: Adobe Lightroom Desktop (Cloud-Based), Version 9.6Operating System: Windows 11Camera Equipment: Nikon Z8 and Nikon Z6 IIIIssue: AI-related C2PA metadata remains embedded in exported JPEG photographs despite disabling Apply Content Credentials.Description of the ProblemI am reporting an issue with Adobe Lightroom Desktop 9.6 involving the automatic inclusion of C2PA Content Credentials in exported JPEG photographs. My original images are authentic photographs captured using Nikon digital cameras. During normal post-processing, I occasionally use Lightroom's Generative Remove tool to eliminate minor distractions, such as unwanted shadows, lines, or small objects. These are genuine camera-captured photographs, not images created entirely using generative AI.Despite explicitly disabling Apply Content Credentials during export, Lightroom continues to include C2PA metadata identifying AI involvement in the resulting JPEG files. This behavior creates problems when photographs are publis
I’m trying to use the new AI Topaz Sharpen tool, and it gives me the error saying: “Output too large. Try a smaller scale or reduce the image size”I shoot in 60MP RAW. So to use it, I really need to reduce my resoution first? WTF? I’m not trying to upscale anything. Just sharpen. So… what is the maximum resolution of a photo I can use this tool on? That would be helpful information in the error message. Just saying...
AI Sharpen will randomly fail with an error that reads "output too large". The same image that worked before will fail, and vice versa, with no edits being done in between. Tested with lossless compressed RAWs from both an a7R V and a7R VI. MacOS 27, 16" M5 Max 128GB/8TB MacBook Pro. Lightroom 9.6.

Edit preview shows less red than exported JPG when GPU acceleration is on (Lightroom desktop 9.6,macOS 27.0.1, M3 Max)SummaryWith "Use Graphics Processor" turned on, the Edit view shows warm tones as noticeably less red and less saturated than the exported file. The issue is intermittent but happens most of the time. Dear Adobe Team, please put an end to this ongoing AI obsession. Sure, AI-powered masks and dust spot removal are useful and popular, no question about it. But it feels like with every release of Lightroom, new AI features are added that are increasingly questionable. Is this still about photo editing, or is Lightroom’s new goal to become a program that uses AI to generate video or images?I’d much rather see you focus on bringing useful and missing features and options from Lightroom Classic over to Lightroom. For example, I'd like to have the option to automatically eject the memory card after importing, create my own export presets, display more EXIF data on the information page (exposure compensation, white balance, etc.), reset only a photo's edits without changing the crop I've made, and so on. There are certainly many great and useful ideas in the feature request thread.Thank you! A long-time Lightroom user.Best regards,Thomas
I edited some pictures with the removal tool and used the AI assistant. Now I can’t download the pictures because it tells me I need to update the app with AI features. I’ve tried to do this with and without the textbox being checked to download the pictures.
The TAT tool in B&W mix is not working in my copy of Lightroom Desk Top. The sliders work correctly but mot the tool.
The system is Windows 10 still. After changing the cpu nothing had to be changed accept some drivers. Starting the Programm only offers a 7-day-test opportunity.
I payed for premium features today but do not have access...I have the receipt

Lightroom should recognize my camera so that I can add to my library. I can’t believe it doesn’t have that feature. That seems to basic. I have a very low opinion of the product.
