P: Generative Fill Button greyed out (age)

After selection is active, I cannot use the generative fill button. It's visible, but greyed out...

I already switched from german language to english without success.. Please advice. Thanks !

Yes, I've heard that in some cases too. In that event, most people should be able to reach Adobe Customer Care via live online chat:

Thanks for taking the time to reply, I had already tried support.  I have a button that says 'Contact Us Real help from real people'.  How ever when I press it it just reloads the page.  However as i was writing this I tried a different browser and the support chat button is there.  It was not on Opera GX for anyone who is interested.

Why is the Generative Fill button not available?
If you find that Generative Fill is greyed out for you, it is possible that you may not have a valid Date of Birth associated with your Adobe ID account. To update your Date of Birth, you can do any of the following:
• Log into Behance with your Adobe ID and enter your Date of Birth.
• Log into your Adobe account and enter your Date of Birth. To learn more, see Error: "Not eligible to use Creative Cloud services".
Once your Date of Birth is up to date, relaunch the Photoshop (beta) app to enable Generative Fill.

When i try useing generative fill it comes up saying " this feature can only be used by those 18 and older at this time. Your account shows that you're not yet 18"

Yeah this is brutal. Adobe is sending us in a circle like a dog chasing its tail with no way to catch it. Making it worse is that you cannot, under any circumstances, actually contact Adobe to ask about this. Changing or adding a date of birth on your profile should be an extremely simple matter. It is emphatically not!

Great concept, but the execution is sorely lacking. The billing, on the other hand, seems to work flawlessly.

Why is the Generative Fill button greyed out if I'm over 18?

If you find that Generative Fill is greyed out for you and you're over the age of 18, it is possible that you may not have a valid Date of Birth associated with your Adobe ID account. To update your Date of Birth, you can do either of the following:

• Sign out and sign back in to both the Creative Cloud Desktop app and the Photoshop (beta) app
• Log into Behance with your Adobe ID and enter your Date of Birth.
• If you sign in using social sign-in (Apple, Google, and Facebook), ensure that your date of birth in that account is set to public instead of private.

Once your Date of Birth is up to date, relaunch the Photoshop (beta) app to enable Generative Fill.
