Troubleshooting

Small SQ GIF_12.gifTop troubleshooting articles

Issues with any of your projects? First, please update to the latest version of Premiere Pro, which might have a fix for those issues.

  • Issue 1: Work Area Bar is not visible (22.6.2): The Work Area Bar is not visible in the current build. This issue is a known one and is being worked on right now. As a workaround, you can use In and Out points as an alternative to marking regions for export, rendering previews, etc.
  • Issue 2: Error Code 183 when installing  Premiere Pro on ARM Macs (22.6.2): If you are having this error, you can use the troubleshooting steps mentioned in this post by Adobe employee Mohommad Khan. The issue is fixed in Premiere Pro Beta.
  • Issue 3: Importing files from the C500-II folder structure results in all the files with the same name (22.6.2): The workaround is to rename the last folder in the folder structure or move the clips out of the folder structure. This issue is a known one and is currently being worked on.
  • Issue 4: .mogrt files causing duplicate media in the Project panel (22.6.2): The use of specific .mogrt files is duplicating media from the template into the project, which is not expected behavior. This issue is currently fixed in an upcoming version. This thread on our forums has more info.

Featured Adobe Community Expert - Euan Williamson

Euan WilliamsonEuan Williamson

It's time to present our featured Adobe Community Expert for the month, Euan Williamson. Euan has been a community member since 2011 and has written over 725 posts with about as many "Likes" and accepted solutions from editors like you. Euan and I exchanged messages, and he told me more about himself. Here's what he said:

"I started my journey with Photoshop about 30 years ago and progressed onto Premiere, Audition, After Effects, and Character Animator. I remember how difficult it was to learn a software in the pre-internet era, so I'm happy to help in the Adobe support forums. There's always something new to learn for all of us.

My career path began with a degree in electrical and electronic engineering. I worked in advanced technologies for NCR designing ATMs, including the world's first talking ATM in 1983. I also worked in biometrics, banknote validation, UX, and UI. I was a worldwide program manager for client technology introduction.

After, I founded Imagineering, a company I set up in 1990 based on video production, internet, and marketing services. I've mainly been a photoshop user since then, with Premiere and After Effects coming along a bit later. I've also used Adobe web generation products, Dreamweaver, etc, since then.

Euan's Prized Corvette!Euan's Prized Corvette! My hobbies revolve around cars (I have an old 1973 Corvette Stingray 454) and traveling. I'm a great food fan and enjoy cooking for relaxation. Of course, My phone is always on hand to shoot pictures and videos. am retired and enjoy spending time with family. I live in Dundee, Scotland, about 80 miles north of Edinburgh and just 3 miles from St. Andrews and the Old Course. It's on the river Tay, and in many ways, the surrounding area is like Scotland in miniature. A visit is highly recommended!"

We appreciate you, Euan! The Premiere Pro community thanks you for all your energy and effort. Have you ever been helped by Euan? If so, drop him a note here if you can.
