It IS the correct response, with what you can get today. Bridge is for local files. It always has been. Will that change? Who knows. And expecting a technology company to explain their strategy is a fool's errand. You can't plan around vaporware.

You cannot run your workflow the way you want. The new denoise is a technology preview and only available in ACR, NOT Lightroom. So you have a choice- Lightroom and the older Denoise, or Bridge/Photoshop/ACR and the new (essentially a beta) noise reduction, without Lightroom. Right now its one or the other.

Please post your system information- Help->System Info. And as a general rule, yes you have to periodically upgrade computers to use the latest software. For example, both Apple and Microsoft are adding AI features that don't work with older hardware.

Photoshop cannot open RAW photos on its own. So either Lightroom renders the photo to pixels or Camera RAW does the same thing (Lightroom has Camera RAW built in.) Lightroom doesn't have the new Technology Preview yet and the Camera RAW filter is not a full set of functions. This was all explained in the other forum.

Lots of us work with large files. Sequoia is going to be faster in general than Monterey.

I ported my custom PDF Export script from Bridge 12 to Bridge 13+ and just setup a template because I produce PDFs for work, and I'm seeing pretty close to identical filesizes with the same set of photos. Make sure your settings haven't changed from what you have been using with the older Bridge version. Adobe changed the template XML format used to store each template's settings but that shouldn't have any effect on the finished product. My last output used 413 1600 pixel wide JPEG files, 96ppi, quality 3, plus a small header graphic, and came out to 15.24MB. This is consistent, the one with almost the same set of images was 16MB from Bridge 12.

Not only that but Big Sur and Monterey are no longer supported by Apple either, so you won't get security fixes. I highly recommend upgrading to Sonoma or Sequoia.

metadata.applyMetadataTemplate() works in Bridge 12, the same code is broken in newer versions. I rely on this for several scripts, can this be fixed maybe?

Yes it supports arbitrary formats but only with bespoke tags. I'm talking generic built-in support. Because if applications don't put PNG on the Clipbhoard, Photoshop can't paste it.

Works fine here on Intel Mac with Radeon 5500M, Sequoia 15.0.1, using the tech preview (no DNG) with CR2 and CR3 files. Either Photoshop or Bridge-hosted ACR does the job with no crashes. I did have a black screen in ACR on first run but a system reboot fixed it.

300ppi is not magical nor always the best resolution for printing. And you could use a script or preset if you absolutely MUST have a specific size and resolution. Some of us wouldn't want a default 300ppi setting, so having that automatically selected is a hard no here.

No, I propose that if you want to run professional software, you need to keep your computer up to date.

Who spends $3000? Don't exaggerate, you can get a new computer that runs Photoshop well for around $1000.

Nope, just like changing the filename isn't possible. But Adobe is moving to not creating a DNG and just having Denoise be another parametric adjustment.

Bridge and Lightroom Classic are designed to work with LOCAL files, not cloud or network. If you need cloud storage and integration, use Lightroom Desktop.

I can use Bridge 12 with 100k images (its slow but usable, especially once cache is built) but Bridge 15 is not usable at all with just several thousand files, even things like scrolling don't work.

Save for Web is not being updated as it is old code. And AVIF or JPEG XL are probably better choices than WebP.

Judging by posts here, right now AI is more of a marketing gimmick than an actual reliable feature. This seems like awfully low-hanging fruit, especially considering that removing wires is usually easy with traditional tools.

You would still need to download that installer. And Adobe has been cutting off access to offline installers and older versions. Contact Adobe directly and good luck.
