Hi mariap2504384 , Do you have a standalone subscription for Acrobat DC or is it a part of CC application ? You can install Acrobat DC on your laptop directly .There is no compulsion to install creative cloud ,but would like to inform you that you can install it on 2 computers but you would be able to work only on one at a time . Closing this off with resolution. I changed my default installation directory back to C:/Program Files (x86) and reinstalled. Everything worked properly, with no more IMSLib error. This should be worked on by the installation development team at some point. You can't assume an installation directory with no ability to customize or change the location. Plenty of people use small OS disk partitions and need to install applications in other directories or drives.

Hello Sarojini, I'm experiencing this issue with all my client computers when they attempt to install Adobe Pro DC. The install works when I'm off my company network. Therefore I checked the firewall, but cannot identify any blocked content/url related to Adobe. Can you provide more insight on the Url on the backend or details.

Hi, I have an issue similar to this one. Below is my setup. We run Adobe DC (latest version as of this post). Its on Windows 2012 R2 running terminal server and Citrix XenDesktop 7.9. We also use Microsoft office 2016 64bit click to run. Office works fine without issues. The user can create a PDF and Adobe opens up. The user then tries to email the PDF from Adobe DC but ends up getting this error "You need to create a Microsoft Outlook profile. In Microsoft Windows, go to the Control Panel and open Mail. Click Show Profiles, and then click Add" Adobe knows it needs to use Outlook and the user would click continue but, the error still comes up. Any help on how to resolve this issue is appreciated.

Please check for any pending updates of Acrobat Pro 10 from help>check for updates, reboot the machine after installing updates and see if this brings any difference. Try repairing Acrobat from help>repair installation, reboot the machine after repairing Acrobat.
