It is the result of the GPU Preview. A 0pt line is not really visible. The CPU Preview (Ctrl E on Win) gives a slower but correct result. A screendump (or multiple stitched ones) is the only way to export the error.

But if you read the comments above, you will see that you need to complain to Apple who took that functionality away. The only solution is to save your Illustrator files with PDF compatibility for your clients that do not have any Adobe applications.

Yes, in the original question a problem was mentioned to "fit the artboard to the selected art". That seems to be a problem accessing with multiple screens. Your problem is getting to the print presets and that is indeed a (different) problem.

InDesign has a toggle for transparent background when placing files. Place any file into an InDesign document an use Show Options (or hold down the Shift key when placing). This will give you a dialog box with a checkbox for Transparent Background. Once turned on it stays on, also for objects placed from a CC Library.

@aweber I first thought it was a Library issue, but then realized that InDesign has a toggle for transparent background when placing files. Place any file into an InDesign document an use Show Options (or hold down the Shift key when placing). This will give you a dialog box with a checkbox for Transparent Background. Once turned on it stays on, also for objects placed from a CC Library.

You may want to experiment with multiple different Variable Width Profiles for the Stroke and apply Roughen Effects to them. Save them as Graphic Styles.

Yes, drag and drop does not seem working currently. I installed an older Photoshop version and it worked. Placing is the workaround. It may be a blessing that drag and drop does not work, it can ruin your document color profile and change the appearance of colors.

As you see there are many components in a color managed workflow. In your Color Settings it is mentioned that your settings are not synchronized across applications. The easiest way to synchronize them is to go to Color Settings in Bridge.
