hi there, ok here is the constellation and the resulting problem: - I create a team project in PPro, do some editing. Then I open the same Team Project in AE, create some comps with titles, vfx etc. - Jump back to PPro, arrange the AE comps in the timeline. Job done, client happy. Now for archiving, I want to convert the PPro and AE Team Projects to local projects. Also no problem: Team Project convert to Project, save both projects on my local harddisc. But the problem is, that the AE dynamic linked comps in the LOCAL PPro Project still refer to the Team Project version. How can I relink them to the LOCAL AE Project?? BestMichael
I am hoping someonme here may have a solution to this. We have proxy media on multiple remote machines and a teams project setup. When ever someone load the project localy they experiance offline media, they select media and attach proxies, now when they push updates so others can pick up that edit, they ahve to reconnect proxies again. and this goes on and on. is there a solution or workaround for this? Using Premier team projects. Clip markers get shared and then later disappear. Sometimes a few markers remain. The preference "Write Clip Markers to XMP" is unchecked for all team members. We use clip markers a lot and this is causing a huge headache. [Moderator note: moved to appropriate forum.]
I am a longtime Adobe Cloud customer. We switched to Teams a few months ago. The idea is a good one but it has been nothing but bugs and issues (profile issues, unability to invite specific collaborators to projects etc). We've spent many hours on the phone with many different reps and didn't solve any of it. We were told we'd get a refund but again nothing happened. The latest issue has to do with captions. The 2021 update wiped out our SCC captions from the hundreds of timelines we have in several projects, with no way to even see where they went. Also when re-importing captions into these timelines, we now get a bunch of bugs such as seeing two sets of captions in the viewer but only one caption track in the timelines, the inability to bring in pieces of different SCC files into a single timeline. Hundreds of hours of work GONE and no way to fix it at the moment. I just called custumer service and got hung up on. I called again and left and call back numb
Hi, On After Effctes, I can create the Team Project with my individual account and invite another person who has an eduction account but when he opens the project is empty. Is there something I'm not doing correctly or is it normal, the Team Projects don't work between these two types of accounts?
It crashes when the project is reopened [Moderator note: moved to appropriate forum.]
I cannot share my changes in the team project. When I try to this error pops up. I have a pulled the most recent changes and it doesnt appear to have any conflicts.
We have been working on a team project using Adobe Premiere Pro 14.8.0. A team member recently opened the project on 15.1.0 and shared changes, which forced the rest of us to upgrade Premiere to 15.1.0 in order to open the project. Now, when any of us open the project, Premiere crashes. We get an error dump (shown below). This is a very serious issue for us as this is a major film production. Please help. Apologies in advance if there is already an answer to this in another post. I am working with a non-profit on some video footage in a volunteer capacity. We need to be able to collectively edit and share changes in a team project but we are running into the issue where at any given time one of us can't view the project files.Currently, all of the files are hosted on my workstation and shared via the Creative Cloud File sync folder. However, due to the upload limits on CC I can't share any files larger than 1gb even through the sync folder. To top things off, there are times when my counterpart at the non-profit can't see the media browser for the team project. I have to think that we set something up wrong so I am wondering if someone with more experience using team projects can give ups a hand setting up our share workflow? I have read that we may need a shared network drive to host the files on. Is that accurate? Is there another way we can do it? If not, can we use a
Hey!! Today I receibe and invitation to colaborate with someone, I accept my clicking the link but in mi Suite doesn'ts see de files! Not in Shared with me or in any other place.
Hi, I posted this some days ago in the general After Effects forum, but just discovered there's this one for Team Projects. I'm having problems with After Effects Team Projects in combination with Essential Graphics. I searched for some time but cannot get my head around it. I am hoping for somebody to get me in the right direction for a solution... Here's our setup:- Both me and my colleague use After Effects 18.1 on a Windows 10 machine. Since we are working from home, our project folders are located on our Google Drive.- We needed to animate some eyes onto some objects. I made a precomp with an eye-rig inside. All shapes, no 'hard' assets. I used some expressions to link things such as spacing, pupil size, eyelids position,... to a null with some sliders on it, all in the same precomp.- As we wanted to use the same eyes for all the animations, I added all the sliders from the control-null to the Essential Graphics window.- On my machine, everything works we
As Adobe have THE WORST UX for customer support I was hoping that someone may be able to help...I have set up a teams project on Premiere Pro and have followed every single damned instruction on this stupid website.... However, my collaborator opens the project to find absolutely nothing, no timeline, no project media, absolutely zilch! I've tried going onto the media management which just displays 2 screenshots that i took to extend a particular part of footage on the timeline.I've synced my creative cloud setting and changed the ingest settings so it uses the creative cloud folder as storage, yet I cannot find my team project anywhere on the creative cloud app interface...Adobe is the worst company for making things super difficult for absolutely no reason, I'm sick of the glitches in every single one of their programs.... Please help me!!!
The April 2021 release of Team Projects is recommended for all users and provides important bug fixes. For more information, visit the Fixed Issues page.
I need to clean this up, but need my projects to stay whole. What the solution? A post from three years ago says it's not possible but c'mon, its over 30% of local drive currently and i cant afford the space! I need to clean this cache pleeeeasssseeee. "/Users/Tyson/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Team Projects Local Hub" Folder is taking up 300gb of my 1tb SSD... Can I clean this up???
Hello! I'm collecting documentation of using Team Projects with Google Drive and OneDrive. Adobe's documentation mainly mentions DropBox and Creative Cloud Files. But most colleges, training organisations and other education institues I'm connected to use OneDrive or Google Drive. So basically my questions are: Do you have experiance using spicifically Google Drive and/or OneDrive with Team Projects? And if so, how is it working for you? Do you have any setup, gotya's or other configuration knowlage you can share here? Thanks, Joost van der Hoeven | Editor, Colorist, Animator & Adobe Master Trainer | Animotion
Hi, We are trying to implement Team Projects into our pipeline but have run into an issue. The owner of the project shared her changes on a mac and a collaborator has pulled those changes onto his PC. After successful rempaing, he realized he can't actually open the sequence in the timeline. Right-clicking on the sequence from the media browser only gives him to options: "import," which does nothing and "open in source monitor," which doesn't allow you to edit the sequence. There is no option to edit the sequence in the timeline. Not sure what we're doing wrong. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you!
I want to maintain a backup on an external hard drive, but the "save as" feature will not permit this.Have searched the forums and no answer to this question.Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Premiere crashed while I was editing in a teams project. Now it won't open the project, it says ''error code 1609826100''. Has this happened to anyone? Please help. Thanks!
Hi all! I'm working on a team project with three editors all working on different pieces of footage in different sequences at the same time. On two of the computers (MacBook Pros with specs below), I receive the below error pretty often (every 20 mins or so). I’ve tried closing Premiere, deleting the team project folders from the Common folder of Library and that solves it for a little while and lets me open the project without any errors until the whole thing happened again ~15 mins later. Any suggestions are much appreciated!
Hello,I need some help please, I've been googling everywhere but no luck... We're using Team Projects for the first time, two collaborators - editor is working in PP and graphics working in AE. All our assets are in the Creative Cloud, only audio files are stored on local editors machine and not shared, because only editor needs them. All was ok, but today when we opened the project in AE the PP sequence is disabled and we get a notification about media offline and media mapping. In PP everything is fine. We didn't move or delete any files. We're wondering why is the sequence suddenly disabled in AE? Premiere version is 14.4.0
I am unable to share my changes since Premiere detects new changes from my team member. However, I am not able to get the latest version of the team project since the "Get Latest Changes" button is disabled.Browsing through versions, I do see the newer versions from my coworker but cannot update my project.
I've found a bug. Collaborators on a Team Project in Premiere don't have sound from the proxies from footage that have 8 audio channels. Footage with 4 audio-channels, no problem. Workflow : FullRes imported from server. Proxies (ProRes Proxy) are on a Shared Creative Cloud Folder. Attach Proxies. Then the project dans the folder are shared. When I use footage from our FS7 that have 8 audio channels, there is no sound on the proxies for the collaborators within Premiere. They checked the proxies with QT and VLC and the files are good. Thave sound with 8 audio channels and all. The proxies have sound and works fine in Premiere on the owner's station. We don't have that problem with Footage with 4 audio channels. Thanks. Hi all! I'm new to Premier Pro and have a question. I want to work with someone else in the same project, so I used Team Project. However, I was not able to save the project, I could only share it. But now I cannot open the project anymore, and the project is not shared either. Someone who came along the same problem or has tips? Because now 3 hour work is unforunately gone...
on Teams my team member cannot see my sequence in premier pro despite being invited and accepting to collaborate. HELP
I recently started working with my teammate in a shared project and as far as I understand there are only 2 options - You can retain your version. (basically ignore changes)- You can retain the shared version. (ignore yours and take teammates version)- You can copy and rename your version before accepting the shared version (leads to cluttering)We have multiple compositions each containing text layers with 20+ languages. I am responsible for the first half of text layers, my teammate for the second respectively. If I share changes I made in 1-10 layers then my teammate can accept my changes, but HIS 10-20 text layers get replaced with empty mine. If I accept his changes, it happens vice versa. My own 1-10 layers turn empty and 10-20 like my teammate. What is this?? Can't AE just find and merge ONLY the changes been made in layers not entire compositions? Is this the way your company percieves teamwork? This is even worse if I ZIP my project and send it over to my teammate
