This morning I had some time to spare, and just for fun I decided to check if it was still impossible to change the language of the interface of these forums. Just to make sure I was doing things right, I went first to this FAQ with instructions that I knew did not work at the time, and even for months after been posted (which I had reported, as others but without any reaction):http://forums.adobe.com/thread/416450?tstart=30As this FAQ had not been changed since it was posted, the instructions were the same that I remembered. I obediently went to look for the Region links at the top of the page, only to find that IT IS NO LONGER THERE, so there is now no way of changing the language of the interface. I know this is the wrong forum, but…Can anyone enlighten me?How did a folder named just "Adobe", containing only something called "Acrobat.com.app"), end up in my root Applications folder?Double clicking on "Acrobat.com.app" launches an installer that wants to install something called "AIR".  What is that and what is it needed for?What forum should I be posting this in? A global search and searches in the Acrobat Macintosh forum were not helpful.Can I just delete that Adobe folder or ignore it?  It has identical Creation and Modified dates of January 15, 2010 17:56, which raises more questions than it answers.Any input will be appreciated.____________Wo Tai Lao Le我太老了

How do I import .psd or, .ai or, .fla or, .png or, .aep files into Cinema 4D?

I am trying to install a font from dafont.com, and when I drag the font file to the font folder in Vista it says I need to give it permission to continue.  When I click continue, it still doesn't install it.  how can I fix this?  I tried creating a new user that is not an administrator as suggested by Windows Help but that didn't work either.Joel

Hello -- I'm concerned about the strange lag between receiving a "Order Confirmation" email from Adobe for my $820 purchase and... the fact that the download email has still not been sent for the same order over an hour later.What's up with this bad business practice??? I've never purchased software from a reputable company's website and had such a huge lag. I can't even "track" the order in the Adobe Support Portal since the system replies that it "can't find your order. Please try back in 2 hours." Really lame.

I ordered and tried to download Photoshop Elements, but for some reason, I got Photoshop Premiere. I immediately asked for a replacement but was told I needed to request a refund for Photoshop Premiere and then order Photoshop Elements, which I did.However, Adobe won't give me a refund for Photoshop Premiere, even though it wasn't my fault I got the wrong download. Their reason: First they told me it was because I didn't request a refund immediately, which isn't true. Then they told me it was because I didn't file a software destruction letter quickly enough, even though I got an e-mail telling me "nothing else was required" in order for me to get a refund. So now they've run out of excuses, except that so much time has elapsed, they tell me it's too late to do anything about it the problem. Ethical? Honest? Good customer service? You be the judge.

I have just bought and installed adobe acrobat pro and got the serial number, but now the system keep asking me for an old serial number from my former version.During the years I have reached vesion 9, but I don't have any old serial number.What to be done?

Why can't you indicate the RoboHelp [sub-]forums that have new postings (bold, or a tooltip, with the number of post updates), so that I don't have to open every one to see if there have been any updates?Why can't I always select forums from the FORUM CATEGORIES panel on the left of the RoboHelp Support page, instead of sometimes from the SUB-FORUMS panel on the far right?Why do I have to click Login/Register for the RoboHelp forums (to activate cookies, my avatar, etc.) when I have already logged in to Adobe Forums?Leon

Hi!I'm trying my best to figure out which Education package I'm supposed to get. What I've read on the site and what the popup-chat guy said isn't the same, which has made me really unsure!I need Photoshop CS5, Premiere and After Effects.I'm also wondering if I'll be able to install the pack on both a Mac and a computer?Or would I need to buy two packs in order to do so?Really hope someone is able to help, as I've not been able to find any other way to get my answer browsing through the Adobe site 😕😕

It would be great if Adobe could make the investment to restore the ability to change fonts and indenting in forum messages, while keeping spam under control (as many other companies and forums manage to do at quite low cost).  I use the forums for detailed and careful communication on technical and product issues, and I, like most of the world, find fonts, indenting, and other forms of document formating quite useful for efficient communication.Some use cases: - If I quote from a technical spec, as I often do when solving issues about image metadata, it's helpful to indent the quotation, so that readers can easily identify the quotation.- The technical specs being quoted often themselves use fonts and indenting to communicate meaning, and deleting that formatting makes it harder to read.- Small code fragments intermixed with English words are easier to read when appearing in a different font. There are so many solutions on this forum for using Firefox with Flash Player and getting it to work -- however I am dizzy from reading all the technical stuff that I can't begin to understand.  I don't even know what Flash Player does.  I don't know where it is or whether I need to update it.  Periodically I get a message from Firefox that says I need to update it immediately, but the directions to do so are way too complex for this computer user. I began using a PC as soon as they were available when computer stuff was much more straight-forward.  I just want things to work without all these complications.  I have a few questions:  1.  How do I know whether or not Flash is working on my computer.  I get periodic messages from Firefox that say I need to Update Flash Player.  But I'm afraid to update something that I don't know is broken.2.  I can't begin to understand HOW to update.  Tried to update from the Firefox site.  It

I am not able to log into forums to make posts. The top of the screen shows that I am logged into my account, but the forums all show the "login" link. When I try to login again through that link I go into an endless series of redirects between two adobe.com pages. I have tried this in 4 browsers between Mac and PC with the same results. Anyone else seen this? BTW - I managed to get in by dumping all cookies and creating a new account directly in the forum area.

Having a signature that includes all relevant soft- and hardware may be useful in getting good answers to questions. The point is to make it as easy as possible for the respondent.

I am under the impression that advertising a service or a product of interest to forum members is frowned upon. I do see some of this going on, but the posts stick, so I assume there is a threshold of sorts that allows some to pass.I sometimes want to indicate certain images are available and the price. Is the link to a web site ok for such purposes, and how is this different than simply posting the info directly?Thanks!

I called Adobe for some help with errors that After Effects is giving me and they told me that because I have a slightly older version (7.0) they will not assist me.  I find that ridicilious and unethical.  I ligitimately bought the program a few years ago and now because it's not the newest version they won't help me.  I would gladly purchase a newer version if I could afford it right now, but because I am in-between jobs I can't buy a new version at this time.  You would think Adobe would stand behind their products.  But sadly, I have found that not to be the case today.  I want to warn other people out there that if you are having trouble with an Adobe product, good luck getting any help if your version is older than 2 versions ago.

Hi guys, Can someone please tell me what the best Adobe product to convert Word to PDF and PDF to Word. I currently use Nuance PDF converter V6 and find it excellent when converting Word to PDF, I believe that the Nuance compression is much better than Adobe. Unfortunately, Nuance converter does not convert PDF to Word too well, and struggles with converting tables and images from PDF to Word. I write a lot of material and I would like to know what the best Adobe product is.
