Acrobat Reader

I want to remove these (1) icon and (2) folders from my desktop and I can't. As the photos show.  I have:an empty Adobe Installers folder (there are no files inside)an Adobe Acrobat Reader 10.54.27.appan Adobe Acrobat DC folder (The center icon leads me to the Adobe file on my desktop that is empty.  The other two icons have errors.  I am unclear what the cloud with a exclamation mark in the center means. When I try to drag them to the trash, I get this error message.   All of started after I signed up for a free trial with Adobe and then cancelled it. I have tried to remove and reinstall and nothing works.  HELP!     

The default mail app on the computer is the Mail app from Windows itself.I have no idea why in Acrobat Reader in the 'Edit > Preferences > Email accounts' it says 'Default mail application (Microsoft Outlook)'In no way I can change it to use the Windows Mail app. I don't want it to open the PDF as an attachment in Outlook but in the Windows Mail app

I am using Windows 10, and use Chrome as brower, have the latest version Acrobat Reader DC on my computer. Try to open an application Form from a website but get an error message as follows:"The document you are trying to load requires Adobe Reader 8 or higher. You may not have the Abode Reader installed or your viewing environment may not be properly configured to use Adobe Reader. Please see http://www.adobe.com/go/pdf_forms_configure"I followed this link and refer to configure for Chrome; it asks to go to chrome://plugins/, but when I did I got error message 'this site can't be reached; the webpage might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently'.What else I can do? 

Recently updated to the latest and worst ver of  acrobat pro. Figured out how to revert to old interphase thanks to the community. Now I can't select "default email app (MS outlook)" only shows Default email app. without (outlook)... see 2 screen shots below 

Hello, I'm experiencing an issue where the app crashes every time I attempt to search through the comment panel by typing a word into the "Search comments" tab. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and both my MacOS and the app itself are updated to the latest versions. Thank you.

Hello, I have used Adobe Acrobat Reader for years, for marking up cookbooks (inserting new text, deleting text, adding sticky notes, marking-up text, etc) and it's worked great until now. When i insert new word with a space either directly before or directly after the new word, and save it, if i then check back to the comment, the inserted space(s) before/after word has gone (is not showing/deleted). Why is this? It always used to show as a space in the comments/mark-up box and now, suddenly, it doesn't - does anyone know why this has suddenly started happening, and can this be resolved?

I haven't been using.I sign on, none of my docs will open because they say "password protected." I have never pp a doc in my life because I can't remember passwords. Why are these locked?

Is there an installation file for the 64 bit version of Acrobat Reader that allows you to select the destination disk?

In the past few days, whenever I print a PDF document, it prints a little smaller, with graphics boxes around the edges. No matter what I select for print options, it's there and I cannot get it not to show up. It's not there when I display or preview the document, just when I print it. 

Hi, I just tried to install adobe reader on my new HP laptop, but when I run the installer/downloader I get "application initialization error". I have seen some proposed solutions to download the installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/ but any combination I choose of operating system or language produces a 404 error. I can only download the installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/. On the other hand, I have tried it on two other computers that already had adobe reader installed, I uninstalled it and when I run the installer I got the same problem... I even executed an adobe cleaner tool that I found somewhere but to no avail. I'm really stuck. Please help

I've seen this problem in an older post, but mine is a bit different.  When opening a .pdf file in Adobe Reader, it hangs for about 2-5 minutes before letting me do anything like enlarging or going to another page. I'm using Microsoft Edge in Windows 10 on a laptop if that's important to know.  I've checked to make sure I have the updated version & it's up to date.What's causing this? I've tried another PDF reader & it doesn't hang.  Thanks for any help with this.

Hello. When using Read Out Loud with any C++ programming book, << in text (for example:  cout<<"some_text") causes Read Out Loud to suddenly jump to some other paragraph.

I am combining 15 different file and have organized them multiple times but when I click combine it replaces 4 of my files with a similar looking file. How can I make this stop?

Good morning, I would like to create a print button which could print only the preselected pages. My PDF document has more than 150 pages. For example I want to print only pages 12 to 17. Is there a solution through a preprogrammed button or a script? If you already have a button template that allows you to print only the selected pages and not the entire document, I would be very happy to share it.

Hi I have two new Brother MFC - L2700DW printers and both has same problem.When I print out previously scanned PDF file through Adobe Acrobat Rider ,page come out gray with white frame around .All the other file formats are normal-white,only scanned one are gray.Can you help me out please?Thank you

I can't seem to install abobe reader on Windows 10.  It downloads but when it get to 90% install it stops and says that It failed to install.  I had it running before with no problems but when I last used it yesterday it failed to start.  So I uninstalled it and used the cleaner tool, but now I cant re-install it.

Hi team, Our organization is facing challege. We are receiving pdf that contains digital signature (esignature) and we upload it to our repository. However, due to some incompatibility in various system, while uploading the PDF to repository, we are losing %%EOF flag at botton that we had on original document. Since this document contains digital signature, after opening this document, it shows error message as "Atleast one signature is invalid". The remaining data in PDFs is exaclty same. This is giving wrong impression that document is changed.This is causing great deal of discomfort as it is causing regulatory isssue. How can this be resolved.

I was sent a filled out form, but when I open the file I can't see the part they filled out. They claim others on their team see it when they open the file, but no one else on my team can see it when they open the file. Both teams acrobat is up to date and there does not appear to be any protections turned on that would interfere.
