Acrobat Reader

Since upgrading to Tahoe OS, whenever I click on a tab (at the top), the screen leaves full screen mode. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Old laptop running Windows 11 and no issues whatsover with PDF previewer in Explorer.  Two new laptops, same brand, running Windows 11, and both have the same issue.  In Adobe settings, the option to "Enable PDF thumbnail previews in Windows Explorer" is grayed out and cannot be selected.  I've read a lot of discussions, but none exactly like this. PLEASE HELP!  I used this feature all day everyday.

I'm a little computer illiterate, so this may be easy for someone to answer. What can I do to stop my PDF files from opening or converting to Word documents?

The attached PDF file can't be opened with Adobe Acrobat Reader for Windows. However, it can be opened with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, LibreOffice, OnlyOffice and UPDF. Please, can you correct this bug?

I DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR ACROBAT. I DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR ACROBAT.STOP ASKING ME TO PAY FOR ACROBAT AND NOT ALLOWING ME TO OPEN PDFS ON MY COMPUTER WITHOUT PURCHASING YOUR TERRIBLE SOFTWARE.  This is ridiulous and an absoloute abuse of monopolistic power that Adobe has, it should be free for me to open PDFs on my own laptop.  This is a systamatically perverted and targetting sick company. 

I've seen countless posts all the way back to 2020 about this issue while searching the Adobe community and it's hard to believe this is still an issue after 5+ years of users reporting the exact same issue. Several users in our office, including myself, are unable to use the fill & sign tool. After clicking "Sign Yourself" then clicking "Add Signature," Adobe greys out and freezes. It acts as if you're supposed to see a popup or a new window but nothing happens even after letting it sit for a while. The only way to close Adobe at this point is to kill it with task manager. We're alll using Adobe Acrobat Standard (64-bit) version 25.001.20813 on Windows 11 PCs. I've done all the suggested troubleshooting from multiple past posts including the following:Signing out and signing back into my Adobe Account.Updating Adobe to the latest & greatest.Repairing Adobe.Uninstalling Adobe using the Adobe Cleaner Tools and reinstalling.Uninstalling then deleting all folders an

Can someone tell me why is this happening? I have a regular pdf file with text on, but whenever I try selecting a portion or highlighting it, it selects a giant portion as if the font size was giant. I tried the "recognize text" tool (OCR) but did nothing. It's also not the first file I encounter this problem with.  Thanks in advance.

How can I stop Adobe from starting and opening every time I start up my computer?I have both the options "open at login" and "keep in dock" turned off.  Still, it automatically starts and opens when I start my computer. This just started happening recently.

Since about 1 - 2 Months ago Adobe opens Downloaded PDF Files from Chrome or Edge automaticly. The Setting to deactivate it is found under the general Settings.A direct translation from german would be: "open PDF-files that are saved from the internet" The Issue is that everyeone would need to do this manually, there does not seem to be a registry key or anything else to deactivate it on a company level. I don't think any administrator wants to set this setting for their 300 colleagues and if anyone knows of a way to deactivate it automatically that would be perfect. For anyone interested, yes the default PDF program is not adobe but it still opens files that Edge or other browsers download.In addition to that, right below the setting itself is a link that supposedly shows compatible browsers but i only get a "404 not found" when I klick on it.

I've just downloaded acrobat reader on my new pc, but I don't understand why the version looks so different from the one I had on my older pc... anyone knows how to help? 

Hello, Until last week, it was possible to add PDF files directly as attachments to a Microsoft Outlook mail.Now an additional button has been added where a link is shared and the file is shared through Adobe's cloud service. Is it possible to turn off the option to send the file as a link (and thus upload it to the cloud) by default? So that all files go directly to Outlook as attachments by default again?

Hello Adobe team,Since the introduction of the new Belgian eID cards (which use the ECDSA algorithm instead of RSA), it has become impossible to sign PDF documents in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC for macOS.The signature certificates on the card are correctly recognized (5 green check marks), and the PIN is accepted, but at the end of the signing process Acrobat shows this error:"Fout aangetroffen tijdens ondertekenen: Niet-ondersteund algoritme."This issue only occurs on macOS.The same eID card works perfectly on Windows and in the official Belgian eID Signature Portal.According to BOSA (Federal Public Service for Digital Transformation, Belgium), they are in contact with Adobe regarding this missing functionality, as Acrobat for macOS does not yet support ECDSA (Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm).Could you please confirm:-Whether ECDSA support for Belgian eID will be implemented in an upcoming macOS release, and-If there is a timeline for this update?Thank you very much for your a

I have a new (Belgian) eID. But the certificates were not longer recognised. So I re-Installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. The certificate for signature is now accepted and tested (5 green check marks). But at the end of the process to sign a .pdf document the error appears: (dutch:) “Fout aangetroffen tijdens ondertekenen: Niet-ondersteund algoritme” (free translated:)”Error encountered while signing: Unsupported algorithm”. Hallo,ich habe heute mit Adobe Acrobat Reader DC ein Dokument ausgefüllt und mit meiner Unterschrift versehen. Dabei wurde eine geschützte Kopie in meinem Konto gespeichert ("archiviert") und ein Freigabelink erzeugt. Im Vorfeld war mir nicht klar, dass der Freigabelink ungeschützt ist, daher würde ich diese "Vereinbarung" gerne wieder löschen. Weiß jemand Rat? Mit normalen Dokumenten geht das Löschen problemlos, mit solchen 'archivierten Vereinbarungen' aber nicht. Hi all. I hope you can help me with this one.I've created a simple PDF-form with some text fields to be filled out. The problem is that the ones I sent it to say that they can't save it with the content they fill in and they can't even print it. Any ideas to what I'm doing wrong? They are opening it in Adobe Reader. I teTed the pdf in the exact version they’re using and it works fine on my Mac.

A few devices recently updated to version 2025.001.20744. Printing to a printer only prints blank pages, and printing to a pdf software throws the errors: "The document could not be printed, kindly use our help page to troubleshoot." followed by a second error"An error occured while printing the document, kindly use our help page to troubleshoot.  Selecting the "Print As Image" option from the advanced printer settings allows printing.  Installed previous version 2025.001.20693 on an affected laptop and it was able to print normally without requiring the print as image option.  Windows Version: Windows 11 24H2.

Hello, At my company, we're having trouble signing documents. When you try to sign a document, there's no menu as shown in the screenshot.The problem doesn't always occur, but our organization has about 8,000 users, and it happens quite often.The software has very negative reviews, and we (IT) also... Please help.

Alguns documentos PDFs não exibem mais a pré visualização, no lugar, aparece uma mensagem informando que o arquivo pode danificar o computador, e que, caso confie no arquivo e na fonte, tenho que abrir para visualizar seu conteúdo. Porém, são documentos que eu mesmo fiz e/ou baixei de diversas fontes. E aparece esse mesmo erro de pré visualização. Como corrigir e voltar a ver a visualização sem necessáriamente precisar abrir o arquivo?

The submit form button on IRS Form 4506-B PDF is not working un Adobe Reader and I am unable to find any customer support without paying for an adobe account. Can anyone help me with this? The IRS gives no other option than to submit this form through Adobe reader. So while this button is not working I have no idea what else to do. When I click the button, nothing happens. There is no loading screen, no confirmation screen, no indication whatsoever that anything is happening. 

What is the effectiveness of Protected mode of Adobe reader?... Secondly can Adobe Reader protected mode be turned off to prevent conflicts with McAfee products?

Dear Mr./madame, I am currently using the Free-versione of Adober Reader and i am focusing on add  a new plug-in into the software but the software itslef doesn't let me to do it. Because it is not selectable. Any solution? I think i re-installed now and I have also opened it as administrator.
