Acrobat Reader

I have made a stamp with a basic signature from a scan of the paper/ink signature saved as PNG, resized to the correct image proportions, and imported into Adobe Acrobat and it works fine. I now needed to add this to just Adobe reader on other pcs to just stamp on received invoices, reader has no picture option only pdf but the correctly sized image is huge as a stamp and although can be resized its a total pain each time. There seems to be zero tools in reader to do anything with the stamp to make it the correct size and all of the guides are only for Acrobat which doesn't need them. How can I get this signature onto a pdf and then used at a sensible size in Reader? it shouldnt be this difficult and should just save the size you make it.

Bonjour, J'ai un problème très dérangeant quand j'annote ou commente un pdf sur adobe reader. Les touches "é" et "2" ne fonctionnent pas souvent pas, m'obligeant à copier ces caractères à l'extérieur d'adobe pour les coller dans celui-ci. Le problème ne se limite pas là, car souvent ces touches me sortent par exemple du commentaire que je rédigeai pour m'ouvrir une nouvelle anotation créée au hasard dans le document. Ou alors elles font carrément crasher le document et perdre mes annotations. Mais parfois, elles marchent sans problème le temps d'un commentaire. Je rencontre ce problème avec deux ordinateurs totalement différents et avec des documents différents. Est-ce un bug connu ? Merci d'avance

It may be a goofy question, but it has driven me INSANE. When using the Rectangle tool, If you go to change the color, the first option is "Fills." Is there any way to flip this so the first option is "Borders" instead? Or at least a way to add the "No Color" option on the quick select colors? I accidentally change the fill color almost every time, and then I have to go into properties and change it to No Color and then change it to default. I do not know why but I just keep making that same mistake over and over again.  

Hi There,    The option to open documents in different windows (as opposed to tabs) in Preferences>General has disappeared for me in the last month. It's driving me insane! I am now opening documents in Apple Preview as well as Reader to get this function back.  - I have searched Preferences functions - I have tried uninstalling and installing, and lot of web searches, but no luck. Does anyone have a solution? Using MacOS Monterey 12.6.3, and Adobe Acrobat Reader 23.001.20177   Thank You   PJ

With Acrobate Reader DC update I've lost certain tools, like File, View, Scrolling, etc. and the save icon is now usually grayed out, so I can't save.  Any help would be appreciated, or point me in the direction of any instructions.  

Hey guys 🙂Since the update / new look my acrobat doesn't work properly anymore. I write invoices in libre office and safe them as PDFs, but when I open the PDF, the thickness + font of the texts are different and some gaps between words are missing. On my other PC the version didnt upgrade somehow, there the app looks like before (tools are at the top, not the sides) and there everything works very well.Many thanks 🙂

How can I increase the number of recent file locations when using "save as"

Hey there! I've dowloaded the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on my Mac.The download and installing process went on without any issue, but when I try to open a PDF file, the Adobe app will show as opened in the dock, but there's no window opened. (and no menu on the top, so no opportunity to use the "window-tile-horizontal" fixI tried to uninstall the app, erase all the app files and install it again, but it still won't open. Can you help me? It does not says that it does not react or something, it just happens nothing (see screenshots) Thank you very much!!!

Hello,We aer on the current adobe pro and for for some reason run into this error mesage when viewing PDFs in the browser. We are currently on windows 10. I checked for updates for Adobe Pro and Windows and changed the security settings in Adobe and did the following  Navigate to Reader>Edit>Preferences>Security (Enhanced)>disable "Protected Mode at Startup" and "Enhanced Security">OK>Reboot ReaderWe are still getting errors periodically but it is more consistant.  

So here is the deal:I create a PDF, password protect it with more than 50 characters (special, uppercase, lowercase, numbers...) Even the system says my password is excellent. Then I go to Google to do a security test. First result is "lostmypass". I upload it and in less than a second it unlocks. Aaah, come on!!! Anyone from Adobe to comment? And I still pay to have the full Adobe package? What is it for? What credibility do you have?

I have an issue with Adobe reader. users encrypt/protect office files using Microsoft purview information protection (MIP) and once a protected file is converted to PDF (using office ‘save as’ option), the file gets converted to PDF, however it doesn’t display correctly (some text is missing). We found out that this happens with some fonts only. The issue is that if we convert the same office file to PDF when it is not protected, the generated PDF displays the text properly. 

ciao a tutti, come state? Ho un problema, ovvero acrobat ogni volta che apro un file  chiede autorizzazione a procedere, come fosse un eseguibile.È cominciato da quando ho convertito un jpeg in pdf con I love PDF. Subito dopo non apriva affatto file pdf. Dopo numerosi installazioni, verifiche compatibilità etc etc ora li apre, ma previa autorizzazione da parte utente.Grazie in anticipo a chi vorrà aiutarmi.Un saluto Roberto 

It is so annoying each time I open Acrobat Reader it has to email me a code to be able to open a file, even though I click stay open.  Wish there was another system I could use instead of Acrobat.

I have seen that about 30% of the posts in this community are people getting suspicious and mad of the acrobat downloader also downloading the mcaffee antivirus, I too was mad and dissapointed that such a large company would use methods of foul play to introduce unwanted softwares unto our computers, I searched up why it was downloading mcaffee and immediately attempted to cancel the installation, here's the interesting part, when I clicked the "X" button to cancel the download, it said "do you want to cancel the download of acrobat reader?" and I clicked "yes", after which it proceeded to cancel the installation of mcaffee antivirus, but not the installation of acrobat. Obviously I was confused, then i got angry, as the dialogue box asked if i wanted to delete reader, not mcaffee. This is absolutely unacceptable and i did not expect this from adobe. However much the moderators and so deemed "verified helpers" try to argue that it is an option, it is not and the downloaders of acrobat
