Acrobat Reader

My document cannot be opened because it is corrupted or damaged. It won't open on my Samsung tablet and Lenovo laptop.

After working for more than a year, my Acrobat PDF Maker Office COM Addin stopped working for larger Word files although it still works for small files. Word crashes when I try to save a larger file and the addin disappears. It comes back again after a while. Printing to pdf still works. Can you help? Thank you.

Hello,I have a problem with printing PDFs from Acrobat Reader. I use Windows 11 22H2 and the latest Acrobat version, however printing the documents lasts forever. I've tried to change printing settings to "Print as image" and "Let the printer choose the colors" and it still doesn't work well. I have also used the workaround as adding a key in regedit and turning off the NetBIOS in Settings. This problem occurs on multiply stations and is affecting network printers. Printing PDFs via browser works fine. Does anyone have any ideas?

I am trying to upload pdf files onto a website and keep receiving an error "File did not end with EOF marker as required by PDF standard" Any idea how I correct this?  I am using the most current adobe reader.Thanks

I'm trying to upload a PDF to a site but, no matter what I do, I keep getting the following error message:This PDF file cannot be added because it is corrupt. The file did not end with the end-of-file (EOF) marker as required by the PDF standard (ISO-32000 7.5.5). Can anyone please suggest a workaround? I am not very tech savvy so the simpler the solution the better. 🙂

I work for an IT frim helping a very particular client with maintaining system wide dark mode for all of her programs and experiences. Again, very particular, to speak in the appropriate terms. She is an Acrobat Pro user and is constantly enabling the "grey theme" feature when using Adobe. However, when she closes Reader to open a new document, the theme does not stick or remain grey. It goes back to white. Now, myself and my colleauges are aware she could simply open a new document to edit from within Adobe simply by using Ctrl+O or by clicking on a recently opened document from the home screen to keep Adobe (effectively) open and not closed. Unfortunately, she is not keen on doing things that way and is very stubborn in changing her workflow so "dramatically" as she puts it. I have tried all of the guides here on the Support Community and there is no solution. I have extracted the attached pdf file and got a json & excel tables.The tables are extracted perfectly. Is it possible to retroactively lock a document signed by digital certificates? For example, the document was signed by everyone but was not locked by the last signer. I then go back and lock it.Also, is it possible to prevent comments and other editing tools once locked?

AFAIK, Adobe Reader automatically downloads and installs updates in a truly seamless manner - In theory, a zero-touch approach for administrators. It does this by creating a Windows scheduled task upon installation, called "Adobe Acrobat Update Task". Despite re-downloading Acrobat reader, when I try to open files that have been downloaded I keep on getting the message ;message'The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0 is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.Having reinstalled the program as required, I am now getting the message'"Faral error - Acrobat failed to load its Core DLL" So what's the problem? And why did it start suddenly a couple of days ago?THX for helping to solve it.

I checked "Fit One Full Page" in my Test.pdf (in Adobe Reader).Then I saved Test.pdf.Then I sent this file to my friend.When he opens Test.pdf on his computer, it will not be opened with "Full Page".The same happens when I put Test.pdf on internet.Any suggestion on how to save this feature in the file?

User has a Citrix virtual desktop with a USB HP printer connected to a Thin Client, and redirected into the Citrix desktop using the Citrix Universal Printer.Prior to this version, opening a PDF and printing to that redirected printer presented no problem. On this most recent version it does with a quick "The document could not be printed" error and then it spits out a blank page(s).

Hi there, this is my first post.I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC installed and upgraded it a couple of months ago to try to fix the following problem, without success. When I open a pdf and click on Tools and Comment, none of the Comment icons appear in the toolbar. It is just blank, with 'Comment' on the far left and 'Close' on the far right.. Therefore the only functionality I have is when I highlight and right click to bring up the short menu of Highlight, Strikethrough, Add Note to Replace Text, and Add Note to Text. I have tried following the instructions in Help to enable comments, but my pdfs do not have the 'Save As Other' option in the File dropdown box, only 'Save As'.Any thoughts? Thank you.

When put a self Signature to a PDF document I'am not able to move, resize or delete the image

I have Acrobat Reader installed on a Samsung Galaxy with Android 13.When I open a PDF there, I have the following areas in Bookmarks:- Thumbnails- Content (Outline)- Bookmarks (that I create) Then I have Acrobat Reader installed on a Win10 PC.Opened the same PDF. The feature "Replace the document color" works fine if PDF files have no complex images, though it will stop working if they have, especially some of them put text on gray background...Dark mode, which can invert the colors correctly even for images, is a useful and indispensable feature nowadays for an application.Also, if you can provide a button which can turn on/off dark mode easily on the interface, just like those apps in our mobile phone, we users will be very happy.Thanks.

In the past when I have received paper statements, I have written notes on the statement to help me remember what each item was about.Now I am being encouraged to receive PDF statements instead. I am not against the idea but I want to keep adding notes without printing from the PDF, which would defeat the object of saving paper. Surely there must be a way of either adding notes to the PDF or having the option of adding editable blank page to the right for me to add some notes?Any suggestions?
