I have extracted the attached pdf file and got a json & excel tables.The tables are extracted perfectly. (The attached pdf has removed sensitive numbers in the table)But it seems to be ignoring the header (attached pic) completely,including the part below."Purchase Order#PO20172/2/2022" Other simple tools have no problem extracting the text from the pdf file.  I think this issue is related to the link below."not extracting text from footer"https://community.adobe.com/t5/document-services-apis-discussions/using-the-extract-not-getting-some-text-that-is-in-the-margin-of-the-page/m-p/12195824 the only difference is that mine is a header (a little bit long header) Can anyone help with this?

Is it possible to retroactively lock a document signed by digital certificates? For example, the document was signed by everyone but was not locked by the last signer. I then go back and lock it.Also, is it possible to prevent comments and other editing tools once locked?

AFAIK, Adobe Reader automatically downloads and installs updates in a truly seamless manner - In theory, a zero-touch approach for administrators. It does this by creating a Windows scheduled task upon installation, called "Adobe Acrobat Update Task". It runs the task under the user's context (INTERACTIVE), and executes "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\ARM\1.0\AdobeARM.exe" at user logon, and at 7am each day if the device is connected to AC Power. For the largest part of our devices it does nothing, we now have different Versions in our Domain.23.001.20064 - latest verion22.003.20322 How can I ensure that the Adobe Reader update is updated via the Adobe ARM service?Even if i delete the tLastReader Registry Keys and start the task manually, Adobe Reader doesn't update.Thank you for your help.

Despite re-downloading Acrobat reader, when I try to open files that have been downloaded I keep on getting the message ;message'The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0 is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.Having reinstalled the program as required, I am now getting the message'"Faral error - Acrobat failed to load its Core DLL" So what's the problem? And why did it start suddenly a couple of days ago?THX for helping to solve it.

I checked "Fit One Full Page" in my Test.pdf (in Adobe Reader).Then I saved Test.pdf.Then I sent this file to my friend.When he opens Test.pdf on his computer, it will not be opened with "Full Page".The same happens when I put Test.pdf on internet.Any suggestion on how to save this feature in the file?

User has a Citrix virtual desktop with a USB HP printer connected to a Thin Client, and redirected into the Citrix desktop using the Citrix Universal Printer.Prior to this version, opening a PDF and printing to that redirected printer presented no problem. On this most recent version it does with a quick "The document could not be printed" error and then it spits out a blank page(s).

Hi there, this is my first post.I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC installed and upgraded it a couple of months ago to try to fix the following problem, without success. When I open a pdf and click on Tools and Comment, none of the Comment icons appear in the toolbar. It is just blank, with 'Comment' on the far left and 'Close' on the far right.. Therefore the only functionality I have is when I highlight and right click to bring up the short menu of Highlight, Strikethrough, Add Note to Replace Text, and Add Note to Text. I have tried following the instructions in Help to enable comments, but my pdfs do not have the 'Save As Other' option in the File dropdown box, only 'Save As'.Any thoughts? Thank you.

When put a self Signature to a PDF document I'am not able to move, resize or delete the image

I have Acrobat Reader installed on a Samsung Galaxy with Android 13.When I open a PDF there, I have the following areas in Bookmarks:- Thumbnails- Content (Outline)- Bookmarks (that I create) Then I have Acrobat Reader installed on a Win10 PC.Opened the same PDF. The feature "Replace the document color" works fine if PDF files have no complex images, though it will stop working if they have, especially some of them put text on gray background...Dark mode, which can invert the colors correctly even for images, is a useful and indispensable feature nowadays for an application.Also, if you can provide a button which can turn on/off dark mode easily on the interface, just like those apps in our mobile phone, we users will be very happy.Thanks.

In the past when I have received paper statements, I have written notes on the statement to help me remember what each item was about.Now I am being encouraged to receive PDF statements instead. I am not against the idea but I want to keep adding notes without printing from the PDF, which would defeat the object of saving paper. Surely there must be a way of either adding notes to the PDF or having the option of adding editable blank page to the right for me to add some notes?Any suggestions?

Hello,Adobe Reader shows the PDF files with a checkered background: it looks like the text in front of a chessboard. Is it possible to set the background into one monochrome color, because this checkered pattern makes reading hard for me.Thanks for your support! 

Hi Team, we are unable to open the downloaded PDF Zip files and its prompting an error as " Windows cannot complete the extraction. The destination file could not be created". We have tried to extract the files to the same location but its prompting another error as per the below Screen shot.  Could you please check once and suggest us to fix this issues.  Thanks Hemanth    

Hi, I am partially sighted and can't read black text on white background.  I am trying to scan pages from a book to get them into pdf format so that I can use the Preferences > Accessibility > Documents Colours Options > Replace Document Colours faciltiy on Acrobat Reader.  The scanner I use generates jpg files and can export them to pdfs.  However I cannot change the colour of the exported files.  I have tried exporting in various types of pdf (pdf, pdfA, searchable pdf, searchable pdfA) but the colour change faciltiy doesn't work. Can anyone suggest a solution?  I see the scanner can also export in tiff format - if that woudl make any difference. Exporting as a ocr'd word file doesn't work as the text I want to read is an engineering textbook with lots of odd letters and diagrams and they just don't ocr properly. Many thanks in advance

Hi I am hoping someone can help me with this current issue I am having. I don't know if it is an Abode or Microsoft issue but it is really frustrating. I run a business that is 100% paperless and involves a lot of data entry. All scanned documents are renamed and then processed.Needless to say that I use File Explorer all day long. The issue I have is with the previewing of PDF files. If I open a new File Explorer window none of the Pdfs will preview. This can happen once a day or 50 times a day. Even with each new folder opened, then there are days where the pdf's preview every time with no issues. I have searched the net for a solution and the only thing I can find that tends to work is to open Task Manager and End task on the Adobe Acrobat background processes. Funnily every time I go to task manager there are always 2 occurrences of Adobe running. Initially this advice related to 32bit files but now works on the files listed below.   Once I run the end

Hello,I have a filled-in dynamic pdf that is saved to my hard drive. It was initially saved with information several months ago. I was able to open and edit the form 7 days ago. Today, I tried to open the same form and it gave me an error that said "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired."It happens in both Reader and Adobe Acrobat ProWhy would this happen all of a sudden? It doesn't happen for files of other dynamic pdf forms.I'm using Windows 8.1 ProThanks

When attempting to open a PDF file I get an error message from Adobe Reader that  Adobe Reader could not open because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged  Then a Mcafee Box opens bottom right and gives me a Mcafee message stating we have stopped something dangerous that was trying to HiJack your app This has been happening for about 3 weeks, I reloaded Adobe Reader 2 weeks ago, no help, contacted Mcafee and reloaded their software on Sep 3rd, no help  I had similar problem opening an Excel file  Has anyone else not experienced this issue, and, how can I fix it Mitch
