Acrobat Reader

I have a licenced version of Adobe Acrobat X Pro which I use to edit documents I receive. The print function on this old version is not ideal, especially with the latest printers and trying to print on a specific scale.I therefore have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, which I use for viewing and printing.Every now and then, when using a "Pro" function in Acrobat X Pro, I will receive an error message:"A newer version of Acrobat is installed on your machine. You must use Acrobat DC to complete this operation."The problem is, the DC version is the Reader/free version, and the operation/function I want to complete is not available in the free version.The result is having to uninstall Acrobat Reader DC to complete the task.Is there a way to prevent Acrobat Reader DC from blocking the Pro functions of  Acrobat X Pro?

I use Acrobat Reader on my iMac almost daily, to frequently search the same set of thousands of PDFs across hundreds of folders. It's essentially the same search that I initiate over and over, just looking for different content in PDFs located in many different folders. I use "Advanced Search" and the "Look In" field to define the search criteria and location. However, one of the many folders I've searched in the past always appears in the list. I assume this is supposed to serve a 'recently searched' purpose, as there are either two or three folder locations appearing in the list at any given time. Two of the three listed folders will cycle in and out of the list as I continue searching through other folders, but this one specific folder just stubbornly stays there, despite me not having searched that location for a year or more. Witam, mam problem z adobe readerem, a mianowicie przy otwieraniu formularzy pdf nie podświetla mi sie na kolor rubryka/pole ważna na kolor przykładowo niebieski z czerwona obramówka, a po uzupełnieniu danego pola chciałbym, aby tak jakby sie odhaczyło na zrobione. Jest to dla mnie ważne, na jednym komputerze mi to wszystko działa, ale już na pozostałych nie. Co istotne, musi to byc wersja 32 bit, wersja 2019, ponieważ tylko na tej działa wtyczka e-deklaracje. Nie mam pojęcia gdzię mogę aktywować podświetlenie rubryk w ważnych miejsach do uzupełnienia. Czekam na pomoc w rozwiązaniu tego problemu.

We are trying to obtain an Adobe Reader DC .msi for distribution to our organization. Has anyone had success finding an .msi? Some of the links posted led to blank pages or led to dead ends. We have tried to extract the DC Reader .msi from the .exe and were unsuccessful. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello everyone, one of our users gets this message in many documents and thus she is missing almost complete pages in some .pdf documents.Since it is just one user (other users with the exact same version can open it without a problem) I doubt it is a problem with the document itself.It is also possible to open the document without any problems with pretty much any other pdf reader so the problem has to be the Adobe Reader itself.Things I have tried to fix the issue:Reinstall Adobe ReaderUncheck / check the "use local fonts" optionUncheck / check read only optionThe Version used is 21.001.20142She is working on that notebook for about a year but has just recently (1-2 weeks ago) stumbled across this problem. No new software has been installed on this machine except for Windows/Microsoft, Chrome and Firefox Updates. I appreciate any help since she does not really want to use a different pdf reader. Thanks in advance Steve

Hi,My 10 year old son is doing school work from home during the current crisis.The school has provided PDF's to work off which are black text on white background.Before upgrading Adobe Reader, while using the "Fill and Sign" option, he could set the font color so that his answers stood out from the questions.Since upgrading, the "Change Color" option has disappeared from his PC.My PC is also running the latest Adobe Reader and still allows me to select the Color when Filling Text (as below).How do I get this option back on my son's PC? 

Hello, I have to do a lot of proofreading and editing of pdfs, and I'm using the yellow commetn option for this. What drives my nuts are the popup comments that appear as soon as I type a comment or just add a comma etc. I have the comment column on the right side, so that is absolutely enough, but there are always two (!) popup comment windows opening at the same time and it takes ages until they close. They are always in the way and I don't want them. Is there a way to inacitvate them? Nobody seems to know. Thank you!

I set the language support settings for the Arabic language in Creative Cloud by performing this video to apply the steps.After completing the steps, I downloaded Acrobat Reader Pro from Creative Cloud. This is in order to download the program with the support of the Arabic language. Wie kann man das automatische öffnen vom Notzifeld unterbinden, wenn man mit dem Textmarker eine Wort, Satz etc. markiert. ich will in den wenigsten Fällen immer auch eine Notiz hinterlegen, wenn ich einen Textpassage marikiere. Ich habe auf 2 PC' je die neuste deckungsgleich Version installiet. Beim einen funktioniert es einwanfrei beim anderen PC kommt immer dieser Pop up. Ich sehe keine Einstellungsmöglichkeit.

Hi, I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro on Creative Cloud and i'd like to ask if its possible to edit a PDF file that has been Digitally Signed

We have Acrobat 2020 Std and now get prompted to sign into Adobe Sign in.  Adobe sign in prompt when saving pdf from Edge to desktop or folder even though we have a perpetual license. Why is this happening? Started last week, a lot of users were told to do Windows updates before that. When we first install the product we had a choice of sign in or skip and always choose skip, the skip button option is no longer there.

How in the blazes does one set this thing to default to "letter" size paper? I've spent the last 30 minutes trying to find stuff in your "help" and "knowledgebase" (You hired the manager of that department from Microsoft, didn't you?) If I just open a document and print it, it tries to print A4. Fine for you Eurotypes, but my HP printer hangs and asks for A4 paper. I get to have a Microsoft moment, while I spend 10 minutes doing a 1 minute job. It's not in the "help" and it's not in the "preferences". Is it in the registry? Or a config file? Your help systems have become too sophisticated. You need to hire some old retired people or non-Adobe people to quality control it. It may make sense to you, but it is almost opaque to someone who doesn't exist inside your sociogram.

Hello,Our team develops a questionnaire with radio buttons, usually grouped together (3 radio buttons per question).Each button is linked by a score using a java script.At the end a total score is calculated.However, we have a problem that appears when we open the pdf with adobe reader pro: all radio buttons are surrounded by red. Whenever I adjust the default zoom setting I always get an error message as per the below image when saving the changes.  I am choosing one of the pre-set zoom options and clearly 75% is within the range mentioned in the error dialogue box. I've read all the suggestions at https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-do-i-set-a-default-zoom-level-for-a-file-to-open-to/td-p/9329123 but unfortunately none of the solutions work. Any ideas?
