Acrobat Reader

I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, installedless than a year ago on a Microsoft Surface 7 Pro running on Windows 11.  I print to a HP Laserjet P4015x.  I receive and print residential real estate loan document packages.  These print packages consist of many individual documents.  My print settings are: Pages to Print=All, Actual Size, Choose paper source by PDF page size (letter and legal)  Recently I printed a 153 page loan package with two different Closing Disclosures (two different loan amounts, so two different and distinct documents).  The file I received was 153 pages and the file I printed was 153 pages, except, the problem is the printed file included 2 copies of Closing Disclosure #1, and zero copies of Closing Disclosure #2.  Anyone have any idea how and why this happened?  I cannot attach copies due to consumer financial privacy laws.

Opening PDF's in MSAccess webbrowser has often problems opening/displaying the PDF, some time retrying does solve this problem.The message it gives is Problem with acrobat, close and restart adobe  0:521 error code (see attachment).Does anyone have similar problems or know a solution for this problem?

Hallo! Seit ein paar Tagen habe ich einen neuen Rechner. Auf diesem lassen sich Acrobat und der Reader nicht parallel installieren. Auf meinen alten Rechnern funktioniert es problemlos. Was hat Adobe da wieder für einen Bockmist gebaut? Gibt es noch eine Möglichkeit? Ich möchte nicht zum reinen Lesen und ausfüllen einer PDF-Datei immer den aufgeblähten Acrobat nutzen, da reicht der Reader leicht aus. Leider kann ich technisch bedingt keinen alternatives PDF-Reader nutzen (mein Signaturpad funktioniert nur mit Adobe-Produkten). Gruß, René

Guten Tag, ich habe auf meinem Rechner (WIN10 aktuell) Acrobat 9.0 Pro und den kostenlosen Reader installiert. Das Update für den Reader schlägt mit Fehler 100700 fehl. Ich habe versucht, den Reader neu zu installieren. Es wird verlangt, dass ich ältere Acrobat mit dauerhafter Lizenz zuerst lösche. Ich möchte mein Acrobat 9.0 Pro aber behalten und trotzdem den Reader neu installieren. Auch nachdem ich den Reader deinstalliert habe, wird bei einer Neuinstallation das Löschen älterer Acrobat-Lösungen verlangt. Ich möchte aber immer noch den Reader und mein Acrobat Pro parallel behalten. Gibt es eine Lösung? Vielen Dank im Voraus!

I have Windows 11 Home and the Adobe Acrobat Reader 64 bit version. The word search function does not work on any of my PDF documents. I used the "Edit>Preferences>Search>Purge Cache Contents" instructions and still does not work. Is there a soultion for this? Thanks much in advance.

When I open a pdf that has been created using the Times Roman Font Adobe Reader Touch changes the font to a mystery font that is hard to read and when printing that same PDF file, it prints it with this mystery font making the page hard to read.  I have pasted an example below.  The file was created in Word using Times Roman, Calibri, and Arial font all in straight and bold type styles.  As you can see, it looks like the only font affected is BOLD Times Roman.  All others appear to be correct.  This make a document extremely hard to read (not to mention the printed pages looks "un-professional") when printed out.  This happens every single time, not just occasionally.  Please help me resolve this issue as soon as possible.  Thank you for your time.

We use Adobe TCS and have been informed that our IT department is going to remove Acrobat from all computers because of security concerns. The story in the link below discusses the concerns. Is Adobe doing anything about this? Sounds like they took a shortcut and created a vulnerability. Will FrameMaker still produce the same quality PDFs if Acrobat is gone? They want us to move to Nitro, which in my experience is a lessor product. Has anyone else run into this? adobe-acrobat-reader-shuns-security-products-due-compatibility-issues 

Hi,I can't seem to figure out how to print a summary of the comments in my document -- ONLY the comments, not the document itself.  I have a "summarize comments" option in the print dialog, which seems to generate new pages within the document, summarizing the comments per page.  But, I need to be able to print just the comment summaries in their own document.  I've found https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/print-comments-acrobat-reader.html#main_Print_a_comment_summary but this is not helpful for Reader DC, it would seem.Thanks.

Acrobat Reader is saving all my Powerpoint Presentations as PDF files why? If I try to save a PowerPoint presentation its save automatically as a pdf file - all my PowerPoint Presentations - also on my business one drive have all "transformed into pdf files"?I am going crazy - I have big meetings the next days - so please help?

I have windows 10 home on my computer and in my documents there are pdf files that won't show the thumbnails.This happened once before and I fixed it but I can't remember how I did it.It was working fine but all of a sudden it just stopped working and I can't seem to get it to work again.I've tried watching some videoes on youtube but none of them worked.I just want all the pdf files to be so that I know what they are before I open them again.I'm attaching some pictures of what I'm talking about.I'm disabled and in a wheelchair from Rheumatoid Arthritis and I just want it back the way it was before.Thanks for any help that someone can give me,I really appreciate it.   [Personal info removed by moderator.]

My PDF file have 2 attachments. I cannot open or save the first attachment and it does not show error message or anything. However, I can save the second attachment. When I tried opening pdf on other applications (such as Firefox pdf viewer) and it can save both attachments. Here is my system environments: * Adobe Acrobat DC 2022.001.20142  * Windows 10 21H2 64 bit Does anybody have solutions or recommendation on how to fix this?Thanks in advance.

Wenn ich dokumente öffne und bspw. ins Menü (Datei/ Bearbeiten/ ... / Drucken) möchte, verschwinden fast immer die Menüfelder, sowie Möglichkeiten zum Maximieren/ Minimieren/ Schließen usw.In dem Moment kommt man nur schwer dort hin ... ich muss immer rumfummeln oder mit Shortcuts spielen, um hier wieder an die Menüs oder ans Ziel zu kommen.Ich habe in der Vergangenheit bereits mehrfach versucht (und gemacht) die Software zu updaten, zu reparieren, zu deinstallieren und neu zu installieren, usw. Leider bisher ohne Erfolg. Auch das Googeln nach dem Problem brachte keinen Erfolg (wie benennt man auch das Problem - ich finde es schwer zu umschreiben).Ich habe eine PDF mit Screenshots angehangen - im ersten Screenshot, wie alles normal dargestellt wird - im zweiten Screenshot, wenn ich mit der Maus versuche auf die Menüleisten zu klicken. Es ist ein Graus und nervig so mit der Software zu arbeiten.D

Hi All, To cut a long story short, I have users who purchased licenses for Adobe themselves and have been using Acrobat Pro to send E-Sign documents to customers and new employees (contracts) We have since centralised our licences through Adobe Admin Console and sent employees new E-Invites for thier new Adobe Licenses. No issues with sigining in/installations. However when trying to send a PDF for E-Signatures, some users are getting the attached error. The MSCUK is the old license and the Mediterranean Shipping Co (UK) is the new license. Which seem to be clashing.Have tried uninstalling all Adobe, and signing in with new account.Have tried clearing all credentials and certs stored within Windows Credential Manager But still getting same error. I assume the license(s)/Credentials that are clashing are stored locally on the users machine. My questions is does anyone know where the Adobe Acrobat Sign license is stored locally, so that it can be cleared to

Suddenly got a problem with Reader today. I am on Windows 10, with all the updates. I have a number of files already saved to document cloud. I need to add notes to them (ie, select text, right-click, select Add Note to Text), and periodically re-save. I have been using this process for about two years now with no problems. But today, every time I try to save a note I get "An error occured while trying to access this service." Same error when I try to save a new file to the cloud.  I have tried restarting Reader; logging out and back in; running Repair; entirely deleting Reader and reinstalling; rebooting, etc, etc. My Cloud-saved files all seem to open fine in Reader and via web browser, and I apparently can add notes to them by going into Adobe Cloud via Chrome and opening them in the browser. Only thing that has changed at my end since yesterday is that the Windows feature update to v 21H2 installed last night. I am baffled. What's up with this, anyone?

Hi, firstly I'm sorry for any mistakes I make. English is not my native language.I made a form in Acrobat from my design of congratulatory letter. I used Arial because it definitely has all the characters I need. It's really important for me to be able to use characters like Č, Ř, Š, É etc. (czech language). But when i save the document and open it it doesn't look right. The characters are definitely different from the others and i can't use it like this. I have no idea how to fix it.I would really apreciate if anyone could help me. 

I send out documents to be signed by two parties and I always sign second. Often the documents are retuened to me locked.  Using Adobe Pro, I export the document to MS Word, apply my signature as a picture, and re-save the document as a PDF. There is nothing preventing me from making other changes to the document while it is in Word/. Once I re-save there is nothing that visually indicates changes have been made.   Is there a way to insert a watermark, font, or graphic that Word cannot convert properly so that the possibility of unapproved changes could be detected at a glance?   I'm aware I can compare two documents to detect differences, but it is cumbersome for the volume of documents we handle.  

When reading a document I like to use the COMMENTS tool, it's my favourite one. But sometimes I want to add information to an annotation that I did in previous pages (this while I'm reading the actual page). When I try to edit an annotation that it's located in previous pages, Acrobat jumps me into that page, which it's pretty annoying, because I'm trying to add info that it's located in the following pages, so I have to read them while I'm writing. It's there any way to deactivate that automatic jump? Example of what I'm talking about:I'm reading something in page 35 that I want to add to a comment I did in page 25, when I try to edit that comment, Acrobat jumps me into that page, making me unavailable to read and write. Thanks!

Hello I have forced the issue with sticky.The sticky note text does not appear when I click "Open Pop-Up Note." I have two types of Note strikes.The first one with yellow and white. I can open it when I click on it.the second one with yellow and black I can not open it and I can see it when I open the comment panelAny suggestions?   

Printed documents are blurred (like shadow font). I have re-installed. Still the same. Printing fine from othe programs, including the welcome note on adobe. Windows 10. Please help.

Hello, smart people.I'm trying to create a file that contains hyperlinks to photos -- and then I want to be able to send that file (and the photos to which the file hyperlinks, if necessary) to other people and have the hyperlinks work for them.I've tried creating a Powerpoint file with hyperlinks to photos, and the links work if you put the Powerpoint file in Slideshow mode. But some of the people to whom I want to send the file don't have Powerpoint.Could there be a way to put hyperlinks in a PDF file? This is just a guess. Any suggestions you have would be appreciated.Thank you.
