Does anyone know how to get Adobe Reader to stop changing the color of my fonts from a file in Microsoft Word.  I unchecked the box called Replace Document Colors under Accessiblity, but I don't know what else to try.Thanks for your help!

Hi All,I have a staff member that gets an intermittent issue when viewing pdfs.  Its so odd that I don't even know what to search online.  I decided to post to the community.  File attached. Anyone seen this or have thoughts?

I've been filling out IRS PDFs and saving the form data for YEARS.  Now, with the 2018 IRS Forms, I'm getting the "You cannot save data typed into this form" error.I've tried this on both WIn 10 & Win 7, downloading the pdf file through every browser I have (Chrome, FireFox, IE, Edge)What gives?  What am I doing wrong?  Did the IRS mess up their forms this year?  I can still open the 2017 forms, but the security properties look different on them.  The 2018 files say Filling of Form Fields is allowed, but Page Extractions, Commenting, Signing, Creation of Template Pages, and Document Assembly is not allowed.Here is the link to a form I'm having issues with:https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1065.pdf I tried downloading the trial of Adobe Acrobat DC to edit the PDF, but the Adobe download servers keep failing 1/4 of the way through the download.  I may try again later tonight. I have a complete new instalation of Acrobat ReaderWhen I click on the Help -> Check for Updates menu item I get the following error: Update FailedUpdates have been disabled by your system policy.Error 100700 As I had a previous installation this was not happening at all.Further I cannot change the theme to Dark Grey, or better it does not stick - after restart its reverted.  

Hi friends,I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 (2736 x 1824 Max_Main Display_12.3 in) with the extension monitor (1920 x 1080 Max_21 in approximately). When I open up Adobe in Surface monitor and drag to the extension monitor, the resolution does NOT adjust itself, and it causes the Adobe look like it's completely zoomed in. See below for reference.The confusion that I have is that for any other applications (chrome, microsoft office, or etc.), these programs adjusts itself into the Extension Monitor's display. See below for comparison. The bottom most picture will describe the difference in resolution clearly. Is there a reason why Adobe Pro Application Resolution doesn't adjust itself in between monitors? I don't have an option to match two resolutions. What is the suggested fix for this problem?Please advise

Hi! I need the highlighted green text field to match just the item name that appears when I pick it from the list. I have: var Addresses =this.getField("Stores").value;event.value=Addresses; in another text field, but I do not want those outputs on that green line. Just the list's item name. Don't know if this will affect anything 🙂

I just installed Adobe reader and found out that the installer installed McAfee without any notice or mention of McAfee. This is just a shady act by Adobe. What other software is Adobe installing on my computer without my permission? How can anyone trust such a shady company?

When I send an email, my signature is deleted, a sample text is inserted and the format of the email is changed to text only.Is there any way to customize this?

hi everyone,i'm experiencing a very annoying behaviour of acrobat reader on win 10, I usually work all the day having acrobat reader always open with 4/5 simple pdf files open, about a month ago I started experiencing this problem: suddenly, the cpu usage of the adobe reader process goes high, without any action or any new files opened or whatever, it just starts randomly, as you can see from this picture more than 20% of a quad core i7 7th, causing overheat and useless fan noise. pointless I can't really understand why this happens, I have the latest version installed, i always check and install updates, but nothing changes, I also performed the "repair installation" tool and I also uninstalled it completely then reinstalled.It's very very annoying, all day it works normally then suddenly starts doing that. If i close and re-open it sometimes it keeps working normally, sometimes the problem reappears in a while.  

So when I open a PDF it will automatically open zoomed to 176%. However that does not allow me to see everything on the PDF that I need to so I either have to scroll or change the zoom. I know I can hit CTRL+0 and it will zoom to page level, which is the perfect size for what I need. My question is if there is any way to change the setting so that it will automatically open to this zoom level or a similar one so that I do not have to change it every time.

Hi, all.Microsoft Defender is telling us that we need to update Adobe Reader DC to version 2025.1.20566.0.I assume this would be version 2025.001.20566 if correct.We are currently on 2025.001.20531 (English UK).I can't seem to find this version in the normal download locations. Estou utilizando a Versão 2023.006.20320 64 bits.Eu segui o caminho Menu>Preferências>Documentos>Lembrar o estado atual do painel Ferramentas.Eu marco a opção, aperto em Ok, minimizo a barra e abro os arquivos em sequência, mas surpreendentemente, a barra não fica oculta, sempre reaparece! Estou bem frustrada com essa situação... aparentemente tão simples. Alguém tem a solução para este problema?Obrigada.

As the title reads, I'm baffled to find the 'Poster' print option being greyed out in Acrobat Reader (Build: 23.6.20320.0) on macOS Sonoma. It was available on Ventura because I'd taken printouts a few days ago. Moreover, the 'Advanced Print Setup' has also completely greyed out too. So far I've deleted/moved the preferences file but still there's no change in the status quo. Could someone help me out please? Is this a result of a bug in macOS Sonoma? I'm using the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader Pro DC (2019.021.20061) and am facing a problem with Reader not saving Initial and Signature under "Fill and Sign". For the past several years, I have been using the Fill and Sign tool to put my signature and stamp on PDF documents. I would open the PDF file, click on the Fill and Sign button in the toolbar and then my signature and stamp (under initial) would be there. Now however both Signature and Initial shows an empty button with Add Signature/Add Initial and a + sign. When I click the + sign to add my signature jpg and stamp jpg again, the screen to choose the sign/draw/image tab. I select the Image tab and a File select window pops up. I select the .jpg file for my signature/stamp and click on Apply. The signature/stamp shows up in my document as expected. However, when I click the Fill and Sign button in the toolbar again (even without closing the pdf file), the signature / stamp have disappeared again and I have to agai

Hello, Im looking into deploying a new version of reader into our environment. But im looking for a classic track, is there a 2024 version available of classic track? Or is this the Adobe Pro Classic being used as reader? Currently we are using Reader 2020 MUI classic track. Which is still being updated but looking into upgrading. Kind Regards,Thomas

My computer recently updated to the Acrobat Reader DC and I'm really struggling to find an answer on how to change the font size of a fillable form on my Mac. There is no character limit on the form in this specific section, so if I go beyond the visible space, a scrolling bar appears. This will not work as this form needs to be printed eventually, so I am trying to make the font smaller within the fillable space. I tried the "fill & sign" option, but any changes to font would be on new text boxes, but this is already a fillable area. How can I change the font to the premade space? I also have the free version of DC and would prefer not to have to buy a subscription for such a small task if possible. Thanks!
