Acrobat Reader

Hi all, This is driving me insane. All I want to do is fill in a few forms and save them on to my Mac. Not that big an ask.  So far I have unchecked both the "show online storage when opening files" and "show online storage when saving files". I have clicked OK. I have rebooted my mac. I have deleted Acrobat Reader DC and reinstalled it...the latest version. The box that continually comes up says "this document doesn't allow you to save changes unless you are using Adobe Acrobat Standard DC"...which I am!  Does anyone have a simple fix that a clueless idiot like me could manage?  I'll be eternally grateful.  D

Hello, we recently updated some machines of the Corporation to the Reader DC version and when we start it, it asks us for proxy credentials, as the program tries to go out somehow to the internet. This did not happen with the previous version 11.0.23, but we had to stop using it because of the Print Button Bug with IE. We consider two possible solutions, to make the Acrobat plug-in in IE work correctly in IE (We understand that we will not achieve that), or to disable Reader DC from trying to connect outside just by starting. Well nothing, I'm all ears, thanks for your attention.

PDFs are opening at 2.5 point. Why? Win 8.1; Adobe reader DC. This a new problem but happens ALL the time now, no matter what the sourse of the file. 

This week we noticed that we have several machines that have Acrobat Reader DC version 21.005.20058 that are now getting this error every time we try to launch the application. It has worked perfectly prior to this last week. If I do a repair on the install, it starts working again for anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour before it starts happening again. Ive compared registry settings when it was working vs after it breaks as well as making sure no updates are being pushed. I have also disabled our Antivirus on those machines and tried again and hit the same problem. I created a dump file to try to see where the issue lies but am unable to view its contents in any debugging app ive tried. Event viewer shows the faulting module as ntdll.dll and the exception code is 0xc0000409. Im a bit stuck as to what to check next. Ive tried removing completely and reinstalling and that works the same as the repairs but only for a while. Ive also tried installing an older version to no avail.&nb

I have tried the cleaner tools and reviewed the various forum posts. I checked my trash. I can find no reason why it won't complete installation.

Hi All! Have recently been playing with the 'Prepare Form' option in Pro DC and have got it to do 90% of what I want but I am having trouble with the signature option. I am creating a generic form template for servicing. Each time a service is performed the engineer will have a copy of the form and fill in the required fields (Checkboxes, dates, commenst etc). However when I add a basic signature box it does not appear on the android tablet I am using for testing. I have done some research and found that the signature boxes do not work on android devices so I need some help on my options. The 'Fill and Sign' I dont think will work on the tablet and 'Adobe Sign' seems to be for sending a completed form to a user to sign. I just want a form the engineer can fill in themselves and sign themselves. The only extra feature that would be useful would be if after completing the form it is read only, but I can work around that if not. Thanks in advance for any help with this

Hello, I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (21.005.20058). I would like to know how to change default font type in the Fill & Sign Tool. Unfortunately there is no more Content Editing option in the Preferences menu as it was wreaten on this help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/default-font-pdf-editing-add-text.html.For some unknow reason Acrobat using GreekC font instead of some latin font type.All Windows 10 region and language settings are set to Polish. Thanks in advance,Przemek

Certification of the PDF with Acrobat Reader is not possible. An error message is displayed at the end of the signature process. "SigValue is 536 bytes larger than expected."See the screenshot.I couldn't find the cause. It used to work. The reader's repair procedure was also unsuccessful. The Secommerce SecSigner 7.15 with a licensed Acrobat Reader DC plug-in is used. Clean installed. Win 10 Professional Can someone from the community kindly give me some advice? Thank you.

How do I send documents to the cloud?

Hi, We are encountering a problem with Adobe Reader on some of our servers.The users are opening PDF's but when they are trying to print or ocassionally save, Adobe locks up and is unable to respond.We are forced to kill the app via Task ManagerIt does not happen on every document, and documents of any size are affected.One server has Adobe Reader (installed via offline installer) 21.1280Another server has Adobe Pro and Adobe Reader. (21.005.20058) I have tried:Reinstalling Reader.Removing Pro from the first server where it turned out that Pro wasn't requiredSetting recently opened document number to 1Changing registry for bFeatureLockdown.Checking that it is not just from opening documents from Outlook etc. and the issue happens from File Explorer as well.Rebooted the servers a number of times I am going to be trying to do a full uninstall + clean + reinstall of Reader tonight to see if that works. I don't know what is causing this.

I can print everything from my hp laptop to my Canon pixma printer, except for pdfs. When I try to print from Acrobat reader DC, my printer does not show up in the list of printers. How do I add the printer so that Acrobat Reader can find it? (It's not the driver; the printer driver is up do date.)        

Hi, I'm using a Win10 64 bit machine (Virtual) with Acrobat reader DC v19, I have tried to install the Extended Asian Language font pack on the same, unfortunately it's throwing an error while running, (Adobe Acrobat Reader Dc 15.007.20033 or latest must be installed before proceeding with this installation), Can you please provide me a resolution for this or give me the latest font pack which will support Acrobat Reader DC v19. Thank You,Sreeraju. I already reinstalled the Acrobat Reader (which was not easy) but it simply doesn't start. Is it not free anymore????

Hi, my problem is that every time i use the tool "search" the program stops working and closes itself, I already have uninstalled and installed again and the problem continues.Any idea? Thank you!

I just got a new computer and I am trying to edit a PDF. It's asking me to install Reader and when I do it makes me sign in and then it says unable to connect. It's been this way for 3 days!

Yesterday I had to reinstall my Acrobat PDF reader DC (using since serveral years). Since the new reinstall I'm unable to singn in on my account. Whenn I click on "Sign in" I receive the notification "Update request" (see screenshot below)I work with the last version of Windows 10, Edge and Acrobat Redare DC. I have a lot of documets in my Document cloud that are not reacheble on this time! I removerd and reinstall yet twice the program on my computer, but the problem remains.Online I can sign in on my account, bust through that way I couldn't find a solution. Can anybody help me please? It's urgent becoase I need te acces my documents in the cloud.Thank You 

When I try to create a digital signature and get to this stage to choose a file, the only file type it allows to browse are pdf type. I've saved signature image in jpg format. How can I change it to allow insert graphic from an image file? 

I need a help with adobe acrobat reader.Before Windows upgrade I worked with acrobat reader ver 7. Now it's really uncomfortable - current version Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2021How to permanently remove a panel on the right side (Export PDF, Comment, Redact ...) and each time I open a document to open only a reading window without all the additions. Thanks. 

Since the last update when I receive a PDF document and click to open it, Adobe sends the document to my download folder.  I thien have to go to the download folder to open the file and while loading it comes up with some funky message about getting the document ready.  Has anyone else run into this?

We obtain user certificates via the German Research Network (DFN) for the electronic signing of documents. However, this signature is marked as insecure. Each user could now perform a manual import of the root certificate on his local PC, but we want to avoid this. Is there a way to import the root certificate globally on all PCs?

I want it to be able to link to the pages or images?? I've been trying to figure out how to do this and Ive finally have Adobe Acrobat. I have a trial period that's ticking away and schools starting in a couple of weeks!! HELP 

Problem 1:When I open the PDF file and try to vertically scroll the document panel, then the middle part of the first page keeps freezing on the screen, and only the top and bottom parts of text seem to be scrolling. Problem 2:If I try to scroll the scrollbar on the very right of the Reader window, then the program hangs completely including the menus, and I can only quit it through the Dock. FYI: I am currently using the Monterey Beta on Mac mini M1, but the same problem was on the Big Sur. Also, I have two friends with the same Macs: one on Big Sur and another one on the Monterey Beta, and none of them experience these problems. Please, advise ASAP.

Up until a couple of months ago I was able to download Reader updates from https://supportdownloads.adobe.com/product.jsp?product=10&platform=Windows but now the site is unavailable.  Is there another site that those can be downloaded from?  This is for updating a computer that isn't connected to the internet
